I'll break it to you so maybe you understand better neither ta-wa-fa (the root) nor tawaf has to do with ; I quote "a servant that serves one with gentleness and carefulness," of the PRL entry and the fact that "a servant that serves one with gentleness and carefulness," is there amongst the entries is already dishonesty.

Did you pluck 80% out of thin air? I prefer evidence-based discussion.
PRL is primarily based on Lane's Lexicon, and the % of circling meanings is more like 25%, I dont know about other Classical Arabic dictionaries.
Please first determine why his word means a "servant that serves with gentleness and carefullness". The word is an active participle which is derived from the verb. Because of the act signified by the verb, this derived and relational meanings are assigned to the active participle.

Basic perception infolded in the Root is frequent moving over an area-place. is a place for moving about. is a night watchman, who keeps moving in a locality to guard. In the light of the relationships inherent and perceived from this Root the word denotes a fraternity-homogenous group/circle of people who share common values.
The word "circling", on the contrary, denotes moving following a curving route which is not inherent in the said Root.
