    Excuse me, did you quote the right poster, or are we having a communication issue in English?

    He translated al-arbu as "The Foreign Settlers in Arabia" saying they were Jewish.

    I don't know about jews, but according to the quran, the children of Israel were there, all of them, and most of the quran was addressed to them, whenever Allah speak to the children of Israel, he speaks to them nicely, and the quran treated the jews and Bani Israel as different. I don't know why

      Qur'an is in Arabic, agreed?

      Qur'an if addressed to anyone or non-Arabic subject is an Arabic translation of what transpired.

        You still can't get the point that I'm expecting for let you clear my statement.

        If "Rahman" was a proper name as you stated above, why did you feel necessary for state that its meaning was "INFINITE MERCY" in early post? If it was God's proper name, it should be independent from languages and linguistics etc.. but it is not independent from Arabic, because it is Arabic word and it has 3 letter root which are R,H,M. We can derive proper related meaning words using this root with straight Arabic Grammar. "Rahman" is one of them and its meaning is "Merciful", but not "table" or "pencil". This must be just coincidence if "Rahman" has a meaning and this meaning is related with its root... if not, then you should realize that there is a close relationship between Arabic and you-so-claiming God's proper name.. This is exactly what I asked for previous post.

        Peace.

        I'm sorry, infinite mercy is my understanding only, I might be wrong
        Rahma = mercy
        pluriel of Rahma could be rahamate, but i never heard such word, or maybe rahma is singular and pluriel
        rahman sounds mysterious a bit, sounds like Rahma ascending, of an action of a word wich u never find in other word in arabic.
        Also rahman sounds like rahma in duality, but still, rahma is feminin word if you want to use it's duality, it is Rahmatan, but the word Rhman is masculin of how it sound
        So honestly, I feel Rahman is a proper name, and I can't explain more why i feel this way, except by the verses that were posted in the 1st page of this thread
        peace.

          He translated al-arbu as "The Foreign Settlers in Arabia" saying they were Jewish. SEid

          I said this;

          He may like to respond, in the meanwhile I try to translate 997

          http//haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/009.%20At%20Tauba/9.97.gif

          The Foreign Settlers in Arabia are more hardened in the matter of disbelief and deceptive duplicity of false claim of belief and are more disposed that they might not know the circumference/volume of that which Allah has since communicated to His Messenger.

          The earliest Muna'fi'qeen were from amongst Jews. And they were the settlers in Arabia, not the sons of land.

          The word under discussion has occurred 10 times in Grand Qur'aan. And the context is about the Muna'fi'qeen. And it is pointedly differentiated between the sons of land and the settlers-Arabcised

          http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/009.%20At%20Tauba/9.101.gif

          And amongst the Foreign Settlers in Arabia in the vicinity/around you people, and some of the inhabitants of Madina, are people duplicitous/deceptive false claimants of belief,

            I know what you wrote; show how you pointedly differentiate which 11 uses are sons of the land and others are foreign settlers?

            990 and came the ones who make excuses from al-arb

            997 al-arb stronger disbelief and hypocrisy

            998 and from al-arb who takes what he spends a loss

            999 and from al-arb who believes in Allah

            9101 and among those around you from al-arb hypocrites

            9120 and who were around them from al-arb that they remain behind

            3320 the confederates they would wish if that they living in the desert among al-arb

            4811 will say to you those who remained behind from al-arb
            "Kept us busy our properties and our families, so ask forgiveness for us."

            4816 Say to those who remained from al-arb "You will be called to a people, possessors of military might great;
            you will fight them, or they will submit. Then if you obey, will give you Allah a reward good;
            and if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you a punishment painful."

            4914 say al-arb "we believe"

            4144 and if We made it a Quran a foreign (language), they'd said, "Why not are explained in detail its verses?
            a foreign (language) and an Arab?" waarabiyyun

              "some from Al-aarabu" is one group and "some from the Ahl of Madina" is another group. And obviously the Ahl of Madina are certainly the Arabs-sons of soil. Therefore Al-aarabu refers to those people who are the settlers and have become "Arabicised".

                That's like saying "some Arabs are dumb" others on the right path does not specify sons of the soil or anything of the sort.

                  What if A?rab are zoroastriens ? remember, they wrote the history of Islam and they're the ones who said Bedouins are the A?rab
                  What about Abu Lahab ? isn't it about Zoroastrien worship ?
                  They even invented Hubal wich is Lahab in reverse, what about the trinity that Allah spoke of in the Quran ? Why the christians aren't mentioned ? what is Allat Manat and Uza ? why is Muniut is the holy spirit in persian ?
                  Why did Feron ask Haman to start a fire for him ? isn't it a hint that Feron is zorostarian ?

                  Too much confusion between history, and The quran

                    Give it a second thought and see whether there is even a remote similarity between the two quotes?

                      Verse clearly says "min Al-Arabu" which means those hypocrites can't be other people besides "Al-Arabu", then why so such efforts?

                            Yet another evidence that it is personal name.

                            1. Prostration-obeisance is before and for the Person, and not for his traits

                            http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/022.%20Al%20Hajj/22.18.gif

                            Have you not yet observed that Allah is the one for Whom prostrates.....

                            http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Tabweeb%20Part%202/001.%20Roots%20originating%20in%20Surat%20002/2.034/150.%20Isjidoo%20Seen%20Jeem%20Daal/23.gif Verb Imperfect; third person; singular; masculine; Mood Indicative; Verbal noun - . Its Root is " " and the basic perception infolded therein is that of an act of someone lowering his head before another one. This act signifies and demonstratively portrays/parallel his thought of surrender and submission reflecting acceptance of his comparable humble state and position as against the other. This gives us its initial perception and meanings as obeisance, homage, respectful gesture and behviour for/with someone else. At the very first instance of its use in Qur'aan, we get the perception and meanings of this Root

                            Listen attentively; at the point in time when We had said for the Angles, "You people pay obeisance for Adam" ;

                            Moreover, it reflects acceptance of his limitations/limitedness as against the self-feel of grandeur and self-sufficiency. Since this is a physical act, therefore, the cause or the feel, which is its stimuli, can either be sincere, affectionate, reverence oriented, or distastefully coercive.

                            The sincere feel and passion paralleled by the physical gesture of body parts bowing reflects willful and affectionate acknowledgement of the love, greatness, grandeur and superiority of the one for or before whom one demonstrates it. The extreme gesture of such feel and passion is prostration, one lowering his face/chin down towards the Earth/floor and placing his forehead on ground. This is the expression of acceptance of absolute humility and surrender of one's will and freedom of choice. This is demonstration of reverence for the one for whom he went into prostration. The natural and logical effect of this demonstration is to get nearer and be focus of the attention of the one for whom he went into prostration.

                            A complete perusal of Grand Qur'aan reveals that Prostration is prescribed only by the Specific Name......... Continue

                            1. Prostration-obeisance is before and for the Person, and not for his traits
