There is No God.

2240 and masajid is mentioned in it name of Allah
The name of ALLAH is different to "ALLAH". ALLAH is that without a name, that with no likeness.
To give ALLAH a name is to commit grave injustice. Shirk.
Achintya Bheda Abheda!

It CAN infact be equivalent; Just because Abdun Nur thinks "God"= x, it doesn't mean that David's concept of "God" is x too; for David, "God" = y. The word "God" is not well defined...everyone has a different concept of what the english word "God" means.
Some people claim God Love, some claim God trinity, quraish of the 600a.d. claimed God a supernatural being, and in english Muslims define God Allah. This ofcorase works the other way around as well Arab Christians today use the word Allah to describe their sky-God ("Allah" is also used in the Arabic bible, old and new testament).
So, Abdur Nur, is this what you are trying to say
- There is no sky-God; there is however only a No-God/Not-God i.e. Allah?
- When speaking in english, never use the word "God" when talking about Allah (even if in your own mind, God Allah)?
Regards handshake
This is exactly what I'm pointing out too. Just because x thinks God is a sky God doesn't mean that we can't use that particular word anymore. My conceptual meaning of God = conceptual meaning of Allah so there is a God and only one.

Did anyone in here ever try reading the Tao Te Ching?

What about 6121, And do not eat from that which the name of God has not been mentioned, for it is wickedness. And the devils they inspire their supporters to argue with you; and if you obey them, then you are polytheists.
What are we supposed to mention if saying the name of God is shirk? I don't think Allah would command us to commit shirk.

ALLAH provides energy for everything. The name of ALLAH is boundless, you cannot physically speak it! How can you as a human being when that is what created that?

I don't really understand your reply. The verse clearly mentions that which Allah's name has been pronounced. But you say you cannot physically speak it. Calling Allah's name boundless doesn't answer the question.

Peace Abdun Nur,
the foundation of Islam is this statement, There is No God, why then do Muslims continue to express belief in a God, have they failed to grasp the concept of God; Allah has no problem with the concept of God, and Allah has asked every Muslim to understand There is No God, before understanding any other idea, the very foundation of Islam, and this foundation is not understood.
The foundation of Islam is 'La ilaha illa Allah' not 'La ilah'
I think it's unfair of you to cut this statement thereby changing it's meaning completely; 'There is no deity/god except God' is the statement, not 'There is no deity/god' I don't there is any confusion on this matter.
Maybe we should argue the foundation of Islam is the statement 'No' D

In fact, it's Al Lah. Two words.
More of a title than a name. -
Salaam Arkan,
I never said you were a Muslim, nor a friend to any Muslim, I said you were not.
Salaam shadowpuppet,
your fact requires some proof, please provide. If you wish to prove a contradiction within the Qur'an with your facts that you say stands against the physical evidence of creation it will require some evidence.
-
There are also many false facts in the hadith about God, like he will expose his leg to the muslims on the day of days, lol.
Lol. That is outrageous. A foot, and a dirty set of sneakers, atop the stars. Now that I come to think of it, isn't it part of sunnism to believe in a visible God?
There is no idol on a cloud, however there is an almighty lifeforce, called Allah. (Or God, Tao, Brahman, etc..)
-
Someone add this to some Quran vs Hadith database. The sunni belief that god shall be seen, an innovation introduced via hadith, can simply be dismissed by the following verse http//www.islamawakened.com/quran/6/103/
"No human vision can encompass Him, whereas He encompasses all human vision for He alone is unfathomable, all-aware."
-

My understanding is that if something is in the name of ALLAH it is in the name of ultimate divine justice. This has to be expressed in actions, talk is cheap.
The way I mean that you cannot physically speak it, is that ALLAH is a name given to the originally nameless that created us, if that makes sense?

Salam and Peace, everyone!
1)---There is no God!-----This is correct!
2)---There is God!--------This is also correct! For someone there is no God.
For someone there is God.Consider an example.
A burning red hot coal.-----A ten month old infant.-----He sees it and draws near it, and is about to touch it.-----The mother runs and takes him in her arms.
For the infant there is no burning coal. He does not fear it. Because he is unaware of it. Because he has no knowledge of the burning coal.A grown up will never touch a burning red hot coal. He knows, because he has knowledge that it will burn his hand.
====================================
What is the effect of feeling there is no God?
And what is the effect of feeling there is God?In fact, this is the matter of having Iman in God.
If someone has no Iman in God, he is then fearless of God.---For him there is no God.---He has no Iman in Al-Qiyamah then. He lives a life of his own desires. And if someone has Iman in God, he fears God.-----For him there is God.
What is Iman in something?
Iman is The Knowledge of something. The more knowledge, the more Iman.
Knowing your God more, means having more Iman in God. And having more fear of God.Allah is in The Unseen. No one can see Allah. But he can have a feeling that there is Allah by having more Knowledge about Allah. This is Iman in Allah.
So, there are degrees of Iman. More you know your Allah, more you have Iman in Allah, more you fear your Allah, more righteous you are.Allah has sent His Exalted Quran.
What is Al-Quran?---Al-Quran is the Introduction of Allah.
Allah's Quran is the most wonderful Book in the universe. The more you read Allah's Quran, the more you know about your Allah. There is Allah. There is the Messenger. There are parents. There is wife. There are children. There are people. There are things around in the universe.
We have a relationship with every one and everything.---But all the relationships break one day.-----But, the relationship with Allah never breaks.
Allah created us. Allah is near us more than our life-artery.
If we look at ourselves, we will know there is Allah.
Allah is our God. We are our Allah's servant. There is no one between us and our Allah. So, there is no intercession.-----"Indeed, This (Quran) is a Reminder. So whoever wills, let him take the way to his Lord" (Al-Dahr-29)===================================
In our daily life we must have seen and heard someone saying someone, "Hey, don't do wrong to him. Allah is watching you. Don't you fear Allah?"
Hey, he has no fear of Allah. He thinks no one is watching him doing wrong. For him, there is no God.And who fears Allah, and stops himself from wrong-doings, for him there is God.

Your point makes a lot of sense, but its just too confusing, gives me headaches Ah scholars, scholars...
But the fact he SPOKE to Moses according to Qur'an, does that change anything?

Salaam Kaiokenred,
which Surah and Ayah are you talking about?
Huh?
