Chapter (29) srat l-ankabt (The Spider)
Alif Laam Meem
Do think the people that they will be left because they say, "We believe" and they will not be tested?2941 Example, those who take from besides Allah allies like the spider who takes a house?
Spiders are cold-blooded become less active/dormant in cold weather same as fish in a pond, reawaken in spring and the outdoor spiders that end up indoors (take a house), don't reproduce or die as a result.

PEACE DEAR FRIENDS! Both replies are very generic and standard, and known to me, as I have read the Quran alot. The root of my question though, is deeper-why THEM? why ALL THE TIME? the "testing" thesis, in my mind, no longer works here, as unrest in the middle east is CONSTANT, and very VIOLENT. using a generic response about testing would basically mean that being muslim in the middle east=guaranteed LIFETIME of pain and misery. that just makes no sense and does NOT go along with "cherisher" and "sustainer", as these are attributes ascribed to god as pertains to us in THIS life-i.e. he cherishes and sustains us. and how merciful (most merciful) of him is it that small children are full of bullets? does it really not seem odd to anyone but me that this whole region is as it is ALL THE TIME? i am wrestling with this dilema, and need some real help in sorting it out. i already know all the generic answers, because, like i said, i read alot. i am just wondering if i really am the only one who can not reconcile my religion with this situation? no one else here has ever wondered? really? does your heart not break and cry out for answers at least these past 2 or so months watching tv? mine does, which is why i am here asking these questions. Peace to all my friends here!

Peace Hanifa47,
Let me bring to your mind the following facts perhaps might be helpful
What is hapening now is history repeating itself.
We came to this world as two communities- the guided ones and the rebels, the righteous and the mischvious.
Yes, the merciful lord advise that we be grateful for the endless favours we are bestowed with and be righteous but we are given the willpower to make a choice.
We live in a single house- earth
While the evil ones are destroying the house, the righteous are repairing.
It all emanate from human unguided desires and manifest via numerous exploitative institutions.
Sometimes the fight is betweens the devils themselvs and sometimes between the two repeling communities.
The masses are always used by the devils as they are mentally enslaved..
Before you and any of us is the above described scenario.
The point which is very important and for which we live is our choice. , what is your choice, where is your stand, what is your position?
Are you for the truth or againts it in your private, and public life.
The merciful lord is the absolut truth and is very much not unaware of all that are hapennig..
Life is an opportunity for us to make a choice for which we live here on earth and account for in the world beyond,
THINK ABOUT IT.

Violent muslims believe in Sunnah and Hadith, and Sunnah and Hadith are made by Satan, got it? if they were all to believe in Qu'ran only there would be no violence at all!

Your outlook is still wrong about who is a believer, and you should change your way of seeing Quran to understood its true meaning/messages,
Believers can not be any sect doing certain rituals or following certain way or a person. If you think so, you are doing
shirk/wrong and idol worshipping as per Quran. Idol worshipping is too much reliance on something without considering other choices.
In this way reading Quran without knowing its proper meaning itself should be a form of idol worshipping? For ex regarding Salat, Quran did recommend the ritual way,
but it didn't say you will be punished for not doing it?
Salat is just a community benefiting event, We should offer Salat for the benefit of us
and also for the benefit of the people around us, God doesn't require it. The way we do Salat is also not from God but its our choice.
if not God will not say this..
"It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the East and the West, but righteous is the one who believes in Allah,......"Similarly all other practices are only for the benefit of ourself and not for God, so its all our choice on how we do it and how much we do it and whether our actions would bring peace if we follow the existing practices/rituals.
Quran primarily teaches Mohammed, and those teachings are only signs for us.
We should not take all of Quran's instructions literally directed to us.
We should only take the inner message of why its being instructed to Mohammed that way.
If you can get that inner message then surely you are the guided one.You should do peaceful actions, but for knowing what really will bring peace, your mind should be free from idol worshiping/ that is, it should be in a neutral position with favoritism, a state where you will get guidance or learn the right things. So turning only to east or turning only to west is considered idol worshipping, instead turn everywhere(Allah) to seek guidance.

This is what Quranists believe Tawheedo Al Ruboobeeya ( ة Believing in the attributes of God and attributing them to no other but God. Such attributes include Creation, having no beginning, and having no end. These attributes are what make a God. Islam also teaches 99 names for God, and each of these names defines one attribute. One breaks this principle, for example, by believing in an Idol as an intercessor to God. The idol, in this case, is thought of having powers that only God should have, thereby breaking this part of Tawheed. No intercession is required to communicate with, or worship, God.
Narrated Imran Bin Hossain
The Prophet said, "Some people will be taken out of the Fire through the intercession of Muhammad they will enter Paradise and will be called Al-Jahannamiyin (The Hell Fire people)."And this is what Sunni believe.

I can relate to what you are going through. I have also experienced similar hardships. I know that it's not easy. But I believe that hardships can make us stronger. Muslims will get tested, without a doubt. And there might be a lesson in each test we experience. So we have to be patient. After every storm, the weather will be calm. Just, hold on, don't loose hope. Never give up. You must be strong. We all have had our doubts. Search for the answers to your questions.
You are right, there are lots of problems and conflicts in the middle east. But who should be blamed? Should only the muslims be blamed for the problems and the conflicts in the middle east? What about the U.S interventions? And what about the puppet regimes that serve the interests of western countries? Who is attacking who? Was it people in the middle east that started the war in Afghanistan? Was it people in the middle east that started the war in Iraq? There are lots of problems and conflicts in the middle eastern countries, because these countries have natural resources like oil and gas. The U.S and other countries in the west have started wars in nations in the middle east, to take their natural resources. They have economical and geo-political interests in the nations in the middle east. However, I am not saying that only the western countries should be blamed for the problems and conflicts in the middle east. People in the middle east are also responsible for a lot of the problems and the conflicts there. There are dictatorial regimes in the middle eastern countries, and many people in those countries support these regimes. But most people in those countries, don't like those regimes. They want to live in peace and have freedom. The middle eastern nations, and the arab countries, are very peaceful compared to some western nations. How many nations in the west have been attacked by nations in the middle east, the last 100 years? We should ask ourself this question. The countries in the middle east have dictatorial regimes, and are politically, economically and scientifically backward compared to nations in the west, but they are more peaceful than the western nations.
We can not deny that relgions have been abused by humanity throughout history. We have to acknowledge that wrong and unjust deeds have been done by people who claimed that they were religious. Witchunting, Crusades, and imprisonment of non-religious people are examples of wrong and unjust deeds done by people who claimed that they were religious. In the past, many religious people have tried to stop freedom of speech, open debate, science and free-thinking in the society. They were ignorant and didn't know the difference between right and wrong. The priests were afraid to loose their power, authority and wealth, so they oppressed the people to uphold unjust systems. But the fact is that the teachings of none of the prophets were based on hate, oppression, violence, injustice, exploitation or other evil things. The prophets showed people compassion, love, generosity, teached them to uphold justice, be moral, seek knowledge, and they wanted to unite humanity. So all the evil and unjust acts that has happened, and is still happening, in the name of religion, is against the basic and fundamental principles of the religions. Some people claim that religion is the root of all evil, but that's a lie. That's not true. No followers of religions have killed as many people as secular and man-made atheistic ideologies like Communism and Fascism. According to history, during World War 2, over 50 million people were killed by followers of communism. No followers of islam, christianity and judaism has killed as many people as followers of communism have. Therefore, If we use logic and reason, we can see that religion is not the root of all evil, and that followers of communism, fascism and other man-made ideologies have been worse than followers of the religions. The capitialistic system alone, has contributed to pollute the planet more than all the religions combined. On the other hand, the religious buddhists in the east, are some of the most peaceful people on the earth. They don't start wars, and don't pollute the planet like capitalistic nations do. The buddhists treat human beings and animals with compassion and take care of nature.
The essence of all religions, is morality, ethics, unity, compassion and love. Without religions, humanity would still live in the dark ages. Just look at history. The Islamic golden age, is the cause of renaissance in the west. Without the contribution of the Islamic civilization, there would be no renaissance in the west. Religion can be used positively or abused just like anything else in the world. The Quran, Bible and the Torah can not be blamed for the actions of its followers. "Gun's don't kill people, people kill people". If a person, who claims he is a muslim, is violent, and unjust towards his fellow human beings, then the Quran can not be blamed for the actions this person do. Because injustice and violence is against the Quran. So we have to separate the man from the religion. And we have to separate the man from the Quran. "Don't judge a car by it's driver." It is irrational to judge the Quran by what its followers do. The Quran should be judged by itself, by the message in it. The Quran can not be blamed when people do things that the Quran never allowed them to do. The Quran teaches muslims to be moral, compassionate, sincere and humble. In secular countries in the west, people don't give charity to their fellow human beings. They must give taxes to their governments. But they don't pay taxes to their governments, their governments TAKE taxes from them. Their governments take taxes from people, because if they don't take taxes, many people would not give away their money (they would be selfish and greedy). This is because of indvidualism. So the system of taxes is not based on altruism. And it is a system of compulsion. Quran on the other hand, teaches muslims to be charitable, and to willingly give their money and their possesions away. The system of charity is more just and generous than the system of taxes. A lot of the tax money people pay to their governments, goes into the pockets of corrupt leaders and politicians. So the system of charity in the Quran, is superior to the system of taxes (upheld by man-made ideologies). Islam is the system of peace. If every human being in the world followed the principles in the Quran, war and poverty would dissapear forever. And there woud be peace in the whole world.
Many people only accept parts of their religion that fits their lifestyle, but ignore principles of their religion that goes against their self-interest or selfish-desire. They follow what they want to follow in their religion, and ignore what they don't want to follow. This is called hypocrisy. And in my opinion, this is wrong. It is not enough to call ourselves as muslims, we have to live as muslims. We have to dedicate our lives to Islam. A muslim is first and foremost someone who is tolerant towards people of other religions and ideologies. And a muslim is someone who is peaceful. Islam means peace. So if a person is violent, that person is not a muslim according to the definition of the word "Islam". Because Islam means "peace". And violence is the opposite of peace. The Quran teaches muslims that they are only allowed to attack someone to defend themselves. They are only allowed to attack people, if they attack them first. So self-defence is allowed. But offensive attack, is not allowed. But many so called muslims don't follow this principles. They claim that they are muslims, but is only lipservice. They are muslim by words, but are not muslims by deeds. If someone is violent, then that person is not a follower of Islam, and is a fake muslim. Why? Because Islam means peace. And violence is the opposite of peace. Christianity also teaches it's followers to be peaceful. And to "turn the other cheek". But many Christians attack civilians in countries in the middle east. Therefore many christians also break this principle of peace. If someone is violent, then that person is not a follower of Christianity, and is a fake christian. Why? Because Christianity advocates peace, and violence is the opposite of peace.
Many people ask, if God is compassionate then why is there evil in the world? It is human beings who exploit eachother. It is human beings who kill eachother. God can not be blamed for what human beings do. But why is there evil in the world? It is because of the devil. The reason why there is evil in the world, is because people listen to Shaytan when this force whispers to them. If people only could choose to do good deeds, there would be no free will. Free will enables human beings to choose between what is good or evil. And to choose to do good or bad deeds. So without the freedom to be able to choose to be good human being or a bad human being, there would be no free will. The Quran teaches us that the devil can have no influence on those who are good and close to God. For example, if someone is not good, and don't believe in God, it will be easier for that person to be tempted when the devil whispers to him/her. So it is very important to come closer to God. Whether shaytan is a force within us, or outside of us, does not matter. The thing which matters is that shaytan exists, and can tempt people to do bad deeds.
"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist"
Many people don't know if God exists. So how do we know what God exists? Does God exist? Let me share a story with you.
One day two friends went fishing with a little boat. One of them was an atheist (non-believer) and the other was a muslim. As they were fishing they had a conversation with eachother.
The Atheist Why do you believe in God? We can't see God. The Universe was created by itself.
The Muslim Let me ask you a question. Is the boat we are sitting in created by itself?
The Atheist No, off course not. It is a skillful carpenter who has made the boat.
The Muslim So you agree that this boat is not created by itself?
The Atheist Yes, I agree.
The Muslim When such a little thing as a boat can't be created by itself, then how can the enormous Universe and our huge planet be created by itself?
The Atheist I don't know.
The Muslim Now you know why I believe in God.
Many people claim that God doesn't exist because we can't see God. You can't see heat or cold neither, but it does'nt mean that heat and cold don't exist. You can't see heat or cold, but you can feel it. You can't see God, but you can feel God's presence. You can't see aliens neither, but it doesn't mean that aliens don't exist. You can't see emotions neither, but it doesn't mean that emotions don't exist. There also hidden laws in the nature, that can't be seen with the human eye, but it doesn't mean that those laws don't exist. So even dough you can't see something, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. And since you can feel God's presence, this is a sign that God exists. If God has answered your prayers, that's another sign that God exists. The creation of the Universe, the sun, the moon, the stars, the planets, the earth, and the nature is a proof that a higher power exists. In addition to these things, thelogians, philosophers and scientists has proved that God exists.
Quran 22
How can you reject God when you were dead and He brought you to life? Then He makes you die, then He brings you to life, then to Him you return.Allah has created the Universe, and is the higher power that maintains sin. The universe is not created by itself. The Universe is not created by chance. Not even a little pencil can be created by chance. So when not even a pencil can be created by itself, then how can the enormous, harmonious, symmentrical, mathematical and scientific Universe be created by itself? When not even a little pencil can be created by itself, then how can the advanced and complex human body be created by itself? Did you know that the human brain is more than 40 000 times more advanced then the most advanced computer that exists in the world today? Think about. When a flower grows, who makes the flower grow? Human beings don't make the flower grow. Human beings can never make the flower grow. If a flower is going to grow, it needs energy from the outside. Energy that makes it grow. It is higher power that makes the flower grow. And that higher power is God the Almighty, the All-knowing. God is the one who created the Universe. And God is the one who maintains it.
Many people say, if God exists, who has created God? No one has created God. God have always existed. God is the first cause of everything. The first cause of everything, doesn't need to be created. That would be illogical. God has always existed and will always exist.
Quran 2888
And do not call besides God any god, there is no god except He. Everything will fade away except His face. To Him is the judgment, and to Him you will be returned. Many people claim that the existence of God, is not compatible with science and rationality. If the existence of God is not compatible with science, then why is the existence of God proven by science? If the existence of God is not compatible wih rationality, then why is the existence of God proven by reason? If the existence of God is not compatible with science or rationality, then why did some of the greatest scientists and philosophers believe in God? Albert Einstein, Nicolas Copernicus, Sir Francis Bacon, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton, Louis Pasteur and Rene Descartes were scientists who believed in God. Aristoteles, Immanuel Kant, Voltaire, Spinoza, were philosphers who believed in God. Some people claim that Socrates also may have believed in God (from the interpretations of the dialogues of Platon). And guess what, some of the greatest human rights activistists also believed in God. Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Nelson Mandela were human rights activists who believed in God.
A couple of years a ago, there was a study in the Usa, were they wanted to find out how religious people and non-believers people are when it comes to cleanliness. A study were some academics studied the lifestyles of religious people and non-believers. Do you know what they found out? They want out that does who believed in God, were more concerned with cleanliness than does who didn't believe in God. Those who believed in God, washed their hands more times each day, than those who didn't believe in God.
Did you know that people who believe in god, and have a religion, are those who are most happy. And that religion is linked to a happy life. This is confirmed by a study done by Professor Clark and Dr Orsolya Lelkes. Their findings suggested that religion can offer a protection from life's dissapointments and that religious people had higher levels of satisfaction.
What we found was that religious people were experiencing current day rewards, rather than storing them up for the future
- Professor Andrew Clark, Paris School of Economics.
Did you know that all psychological problems have a religious/spiritual cause? It is lack of belief/spirituality that makes many people depressed and experience other psychological problems. When someone believes this life is created by chance, and don't know the meaning of life, he/she might easily get psychological problems. Many people who don't have a belief system based on a religion, get an emptiness in themselves that they fill with alchohol, parties, materialism. They are never content and constantly want more material things, and constantly want to do things that only give them pleasure (not happiness). The famous psychologist Carl Jung, found out that all the psychological problems of his patients, had a religious cause. He had worket as a therapist in many years. And found out that all of his patients, that had psychological problems, had a lack of religious belief/spirituality. There are no man-made ideologies or philosophies can give people true happiness and inner peace.

Peace dear friends here! Thank you to every single one of you, that you all took the time and effort to respond! you have helped me very much, and REMINDED me, why i love God and free minds to begin with...cause it's all about God in the Koran, and not shia, sunni, hadeethist.....oh my gosh! it was like a light bulb turning on after i read all of your answers! of course! most of these poor people are shackled by hadeeth and "tradition" and know little of God, except their group's requirements/rituals/formalities. !!!!!!!
i can't believe i needed OTHER PEOPLE to remind me of that! duuuh....i feel silly, but again, grateful that one of God's mercies in my own life is this very website! free minds is my mosque! again, thank you so much to all of you!
after reading all of your posts, i can't help but make the comparison to the Bible, where God is warning (old testament) the jewish ("chosen ones" at the time) people that if they do not stop ignoring God, (this is a psalm, i just don't remember the number) "your dead will not be buried, and their bones will dry in the sun and be scattered in all the lands...", and then i think of Jewish history.....so, i am coming away with this- Get back to GOD, and stay with GOD, and then you will be in a whole different place in all aspects of your life....thanx for opening my eyes folks! Peace to all of you! please post more replies to me on this subject anytime! I am an avid learner! I have only been a submitter to God a little over a year, and withing the first few months already, i instinctively got uncomfortable feelings from all the sunnis i am surrounded by, and looked to the internet for guidance, which is when i found free minds! Thank God!

my heart is broken, and i need to know, immediately, before i literally turn atheist, how in the heck THIS god, whom we all sincerely believe in, can allow an entire region, comprised almost entirely of "true believers", to turn into hell on earth?
This is a baseless assumption.
Reality doesn't care about our imagined assumptions. The one true god is the god that we cannot imagine. This will always be true.
Stick with what you know for certain is absolutely true and start from there.
Peace,
Ayman

Salaam hanifa47,
Firstly, I seek refuge in Allah from Shaitaan
The problem with us is, we think and ponder by closing Allah's Book, when we are asked to ponder on the aayaats said in Allah's Book. InshaAllah, on the basis of your post, I will try to answer you in detail with my understanding of the subject, but please read it carefully the whole thing.
PEACE BE UPON ALL OF YOU HERE. i am a member here, post quite regularly, and until recently, really believed myself to be a submitter to the God commonly called Allah. However, recently, i am sleeping alot less at night, doing prayers much less frequently (not sure anymore who i should be praying to or what to call that entity), and not reading the Koran at all anymore.
Take a good sleep first and read AlQuraan regularly, inshaAllah, you will find your answers.
4724
4724 Do they not reflect upon the Quraan? Or are there locks on the hearts? Why? Indeed, why? I believe, but am not sure, that it is because of the fact that the entire middle east, the "cradle" of "the final message from God" (a god whom we believe to be omniscient, omnipotent, all merciful, all-compassionate, and much more), is, for all intents and purposes, a blood bath, to a greater or lesser degree depending upon geographic location.
Yes Allah is Omniscient, Omnipotent, All Merciful, All Compassionate and many more. Look below
1044
1044 Allah does not wrong the people in the least, but it is the people who wrong themselves.
440
440 Indeed, Allah does not wrong the weight of an atom; and if it is good He will double it. And He grants from Himself a great recompense.
2519
2519 They have refuted what you claimed, so you will not find any excuse nor any victor. And whoever has done wrong among you, We will let him taste a great retribution.
And still a way out
4110
4110 And whoever does any evil, or wrongs himself, then seeks the forgiveness of Allah; he will find Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.
my heart is broken, and i need to know, immediately, before i literally turn atheist,
2217
They ask you concerning fighting in the Sacred Months. Say, "Fighting therein is a great but a greater with Allah is to prevent mankind from following the Way of Allah, to disbelieve in Him, to prevent access to Al-Masjid-al-Haram, and to drive out its inhabitants, and Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever."
how in the heck THIS god, whom we all sincerely believe in, can allow an entire region, comprised almost entirely of "true believers", to turn into hell on earth?
How did you get this idea? Allah never harm believers.
10103
10103 Then We will save Our messengers and those who believe. It is thus binding upon Us that We save the believers.
does ANYONE HERE, aside from myself, have even an iota of a creeping feeling, even once, that we may be following a false god described in a man-authored book, and the we may just be plain wrong? i mean, it just seems that for people who the Koran describes as sercvants of god, indeed, the only true servants of god, there is just non-stop, on-going violence, bloodshed, war, and unrest going on there! how has this not happenned to christianity at large for such a long time?
997
997 The Arabs are the worst in rejection and hypocrisy, and more likely not to know the boundaries of what Allah has sent down upon His messenger. Allah is Knower, Wise.
the middle east, again, the land of "the true believers" has seen, and continues to see, GENERATIONS of violence and bloodshed!
230
230 And your Lord said to the angels I am placing a successor on the earth. They said Will You place in it he who would make corruption in it, and spill blood; while we praise by Your glory, and exalt to You? He said I know what you do not know.
how can i stand here, on my prayer rug, and say 'allahu akbar' if it really does not seem that he is very 'akbar' at all,
Allah never say He is Akbar, so don't have to say "Allahu Akbar", better say "Allahu Ahad".
or, if he is great, then he just does not give a rat's butt what happens to his peoploe? or what?
11117
11116 And your Lord will not destroy the towns unjustly, while its people are good doers.
6131
6131 That is because your Lord was not to destroy any town because of its wickedness while its people were unaware.
what have i gotten wrong here? where have i stryed, that this is becoming more and more of a problem for me both spiritually and morally?

663 Say Who rescues you from the darkness of the land and the sea? You call on Him in humility and in secret If You save us from this, we will be of the thankful!664
664 Say Allah saves you from it and from all distresses, yet you will still set up partners!665
665 Say He is able to send retribution from above you or from below your feet, or He will make you belong to opposing factions, then He will let you taste the might of each other. See how We dispatch the signs, perhaps they may understand.
Finally, I seek refuge in Allah from Shaitaan.
May Allah guide us all to His true path pr

Peace dear friends here! Thank you to every single one of you, that you all took the time and effort to respond! you have helped me very much, and REMINDED me, why i love God and free minds to begin with...cause it's all about God in the Koran, and not shia, sunni, hadeethist.....oh my gosh! it was like a light bulb turning on after i read all of your answers! of course! most of these poor people are shackled by hadeeth and "tradition" and know little of God, except their group's requirements/rituals/formalities. !!!!!!!
Dear hanifa47

mm khan Peace upon you and your logical brain! thank you! thanks also to david k, and everyone else! i am going to print all your responses! talk about an education! and yes, it sure was a baseless assumption on my part (to whoever wrote that), and a stupid one as well (rookie believer) to assume just because middle east is islamist, that they are all truly faithful....duuuuh....my mistake!
how could i ever leave God? never-keeping my head up! i plead temporary, momentary insanity from tv news....sorry.... elektro
going to read suggested books and Qur'an right now! I'm reading Yuksel and co. Reformist translation right now-went thru traditional translations (ali, pickthall) already. Peace to all of you!

Peace hanifa47, all
When humanity don't follow monotheism they will be separated. They will not have strong bond that can unite them. They will separate into different groups and an invented reality will emerge. Nations, flags, different lifestyles, traditions, ideologies and other man-made systems will appear. They will say that "this is my country and that is your country". But in reality there is only one God (the creator), one country (planet earth) and one race (humanity). In reality all human beings are brothers and sisters. But in the invented reality we see all around us, humanity is separated by ethnicities, ideologies and lifestyles. The concept of polytheism is more comprehensive than conventional religious ideas and theories claim it is. A polytheist is not just someone who just prays to stone idols. Many people create illusions in their mind and convince themselves that they are separated from the rest of mankind and nature, and they don't accept responsibility for their actions in this life. Science confirms that there is unity in the universe and in our planet. Everything is interconnected. Ergo monotheism can be logically explained. Polytheism however, is an illusion of the mind. It only exists in the minds of people, not in reality. If the whole humanity where united through monotheism there would be no wars, no poverty and no exploitation. If the whole humanity was united through monotheism there would be peace all over the world. If the whole humanity cooperated with eachother human beings would be able to create a paradise on earth and explore the Universe more than ever before.

I See it like this. We all have free will. This sets a lot of chaos into motion as billions of people are partaking in their right to free will. To save one group takes away another groups freedom to make their own choices. Simply put, bad things happen between people because the world is full of bad our short sighted people.

I guess I have always had a hunger for knowledge. I like to learn new things and new skills very often. I have learned a lot from many people in this forum. There are many people in this forum that or more knowledgable than me on different topics. The more knowledge I get, the more I realize how little I know about life. What I believe today, might be discarded tomorrow. My advice to you is the following Seek knowledge. You should develop a hunger for knowledge. And learn as much as you can about Islam. If you start to get knowledge in an early age, you will have lots of knowledge when you are in your twenties. And perhaps you already have lots of knowledge. Because you seem like a smart person and you seem to have spiritual awareness.
"Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere."

what about China? it has one of the largest Muslim populations of the world and the deputy premier (3rd most powerful man) is an Hui (Muslim)
its simply that the state is like Turkey a secular one and people can't have open religious affiliations; and coming from a Chinese Islam is far from persecuted in China
