Lord of the Worlds

Salam everybody,
The word that is translated to "worlds" is AL ALAMEEN in arabic like the one in alfatiha 12. The root for that is )م.
I dont think it means worlds at all. Here are some examples how its used in the Quran. At Openburhan.com you can read more and compare them if you search by root and then find the word you looking for. We dont need to guess

.This is just an error in translation. It doesnt mean worlds but everything/everyone.

Depends on the definition of "world". If he meant universe, then there has to be multiverses. However, "world" is not always used to describe the entire universe. Have to do a Qur'an search and verse gathering to analyse and come to conclusion.

We're the imagination of Allah. All imagination is absolutely real so you can't even all the worlds there are. Oh and universe doesn't mean world. There can be multi-verses in one world

These are all great comments and ideas! bravo Some of which I haven't thought of. I like thinking of Allah as being so big that He has other worlds maybe like this one, maybe more advanced than ours and maybe some less advanced, all created for His enjoyment. I like to think there are other worlds right here, but in a different dimension. I'm reading through the Quran right now and I haven't come across anything that would make me believe these ideas are true and nothing that tells me it's not. Maybe that's to come? It's pretty hard to believe that a being that is the most powerful, magnificent, no beginning and no end, creator or ALL, would have created us and our world we live in ONLY. Thinking of Allah in this way, makes me more at awe and gives me so much comfort to know he's my creator, protector, provider. My life giver and my life sustainer. It kind-of just blows my mind away when I really think about Him! hail
May Allah help us all to gain more knowledge and to love Him and respect Him more as we go along with this journey. pr

The only thing still makes me think they are not the same is the vocalization.
is actually different from even if they derive from the same root . Words deriving from the same root can have some connection but in general mean different things. So I dont have a reason to believe they mean exactly the same thing.

I agree, I just recently came to know this too handshake
First I thought Worlds then Creatures then "The ones who have knowledge".
It's root is I believe "3ain, Lam, Miem" which means something like knowledge.
I believe this makes the most sense, see for example the verses with prophet Lut and his people.
There are more verses where creatures and worlds doesn't fit.Maybe there is even a better definition but at this moment I believe "knowledgeables" is the most accurate.

I also see your point but I think we have to consider that Alalameen and Alalemoon are actually different. Even if they derive from the same root there is some difference that we con not ignore. Alalemoon are the those who know, those who posses knowledge, but alalameen does not mean that. There is a reason why God didint make the Quran made of only roots.

Obviously Al-Alameen and Al-Alamoon are in detail different, as they are different in spelling.
But I believe that all derivatives of a root in The Quran, must have some connection with the root from which the word is build.Thus saying Al-Alameen is "worlds" or "dimensions" or "universes" makes no sense to me at all. I don't see any connection with the root it has. And in some verses it?s just not logical to understand them like one of the words mentioned.
Creatures is I believe a little bit better (as a lot of creatures were given some sort of knowledge). But still there are verses where creatures don't fit.Maybe a better definition is "creators who were given some sort of knowledge".
But what is the difference between Al-Alameen and Al-Alamoon? I don't know, I haven't put much study in it, but in the example brother(?) Someone gave, we already can learn a little bit.

Maybe Al-Alamoon are ONLY the ones with knowledge among AnNaas (the people). This is just guessing as I haven't studied this yet.Also please check these verses same thing

Do you think al-ssabireen and al-ssabiroon have something in common or are they 2 totally different words?
