Salaam bro,
Do you mean who these Alshajateen are OR the meaning of the word shajateen?
If you mean, the meaning of the word, why then are you interested in the plural form hmmSalaam,
BenderSalaam Bender,
Not AlShayaateen but letter after this word AlShayaateenI where the plural is AlShayaateenA. Hope you understand, just wanted to know if there is something grammatical.
May Allah guide us to His true path pr

Salam;
There are two grammar cases that explain the end of the first word (with I as prepositive case) and of the second word (with A as accusative case).
Thus the meaning of the word is the same but the end changes due its function in the sentence.
Hope that hlps

Salaam Siwto,
Thank you very much for your reply bro.
I have a problem understanding it because I don't find such usage anywhere else in AlQuraan. Most of the times all the Isms are used in accusative form like MomineeA, MuslimeenA, MunafiqeenA, ShayaateenA, MujrimeenA, KaazibeenA, MukhlaseenA, MursaleenA, NabiyyeenA, HaakimeenA, KaafireenA, AakifeenA, SaajideenA, QaaimeenA, RaakieenA, MushrikeenA or MushrikoonA, KaafiroonA, MuninoonA, etc. etc.
I never find any prepositive case for any of the words, like MomineenI, MuslimeenI, MursaleenI, NabiyyeenI or MominoonI, MuslimoonI, etc. etc.
But this case is used only for a single word i.e., AlShayaateenI in AlQuraan? Why? What could be the possible reason? Is that mean something else?
Not only once, but the same word is also used in 1727, 2182, 3765, 675 apart from 2397.
Any ideas what would it be? May Allah help us pr

Salam mmkhan;
Basically as you you pointed, this question is there. If these isms were the plural of shaytan, then their prepositive & accusative cases would be shayatin, whereas their nominative & the subject forms will be in shayatun. But this letter form is never encountered in th book of Allah.
More research is needed as what is their meaning relatively to shaytan?Bro, please would someeebody help with updated Quranic search software download, my former one is fake.
thanks a lot & i will be back in sha'Allah.Peace,Siwto

This is because you are comparing this plural noun with sound plural Active Participles. Sound Plural active participles do not take Kasra at their end. Their position as genitive or accusative is determined/estimated by the preceding word.
In case of the word under study it is accusative in the first instance being Noun of Verb Like Particle Inna. And is genitive in second case because of second noun of Possessive Phrase. Active Participle would be -- which is matching your quoted other active participles

mmKhanSalam brother
Chaitan to me is a synonym of IbleedChaitan = Cheater , chayateen = Cheaters , in a global view of course , they have abother word for Chaitan , it translates Chicane
Iblees = Oblivious, Cavil -
well another word would be ALLAH
In some cases it's Allahu
in others it is Allahi
in others it is AllahaAlso, the word shaytan is a cognate of the Hebrew Ha-satan which i think means Accusser or adversary. Thus the Shaytan can be a title to Iblis, he is THE Shaytan, or to say, the Real Adversary to Mankind.
