Peace Pierre, Im have always found your website a huge wealth of insight not only when I used to call my self a united submitter, but even after when I felt that it's best to not try to think of who was messenger or not. you're 7 sleepers article is one of my favorites and I plan to read your exposed articles very soon inshallah. I'm happy to see you didnt 'throw the baby out. with the bathwater ' in regarjustds to math miracle just because you gross inconsistency in RK method. personally I think all he was destined to do God willing was to discover 19 only for 29 initial surahs but when he strayed he was then stabbed 29 times. He may have been a true messenger that strayed but it might be conjecture .peace

great articles brother! although im still not convinced that there is no parallel between initial suras. and 19. even through a strict analysis that doesn't count how RK counted the possibility. of the chapters that do have parallel to 19 is virtually minute chance please see great article http//www.quran.org/code/q-zone/lessons.html also edips book 19 God's signature which also contains this article along with other objective proofs. peace

Thank you so much for this article. I am looking very much forward to your next important article that you are going to publish on August the 15th.

I came to Islam when I read and discovered Rashad Khalifa's work.

In the meantime I somehow sensed that there is not the whole truth.

I hope your next work is going to clarify things even more.

        God bless!

Salaam Newform, and thanks for your comments.
I will check the article you pointed at. I know Edip's book and I believe my article proves in many ways that he is still stuck with Rashad's theory having assisted him in his research for several years.
Please mark your calendar for this upcoming Night of Decree, Tuesday, August 14, for my latest article, which I believe will provide final proofs that the Quran is God's Word.

          God bless you.

          Pierre

            Salaam Godsubmitter,

I am so glad to see that you came to Islam, one way or another.
Do not be disappointed because of Rashad's deviance. We know he also did very good things, especially putting the emphasis on the Quran alone.
The article that will be published on Tuesday, August 14 on http//www.islamrevolution.org/ will confirm you in the strongest manner that I am right regarding the way words should be counted, which disqualifies Rashad's claims.
Most importantly, I totally believe that you will have the confirmation that the religion you chose, Islam, and that the book you follow, the Quran, are indeed God's revelation to the world. Please, do not doubt.
I wish you a blessed ramadan.

            Pierre

              Peace 6619.

We already have the proof that Qoran is from GOD?

              Peace.

                  Salaam everyone,

                  Pierre

Good to see you 6619 , or Pierre
we did chat before, but the main point is search for the truth
you found that rashad was a deception, that is good to see where falshood is, but most important is , to find where the truth is
to me it is simple, what rashad did, is the same what the sunnis or shia did, instead of searching the true origin of the quranic words, and understanding their meanings, we find our selves searching for rituals, and how to perform them, or searching for digits, that doesn't help much someone who is already convinced of the quran, that it is the word of god

3.7 Claiming Muhammad was not unlettered.

Rashad Khalifa claimed that Muhammad was not illiterate prior to receiving the first revelation (appendix 2 and did make some valid points in his article. He was actually partially right but was also wrong. The Quran does tell us that Muhammad was illiterate when he first received the revelation

(294 You did not recite before it (the Quran) any book (?Kitabeen? indefinite in Arabic), nor did you write any with your right hand?.

Rashad claims in appendix 28 that 2948 ?relates specifically to previous scriptures? which is not what the original Quranic verse says as the indefinite ?kitabeen? is used in the verse ?You did not recite before it any book??.

Erroneous understanding because of lack of understanding the grammar necessary for reading Arabic text.

Irrefutable historical evidence Exalted Messenger Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam was the First to transcribe the Grand Qur'aan in writing

I now consider 9128-129 as part of the Quran.

Peace Pierre, it's good that you used reason and that the blinders are lifted.

What you are still doing is flipping through combinations reporting multiples.
Each is unique; e.g. you cannot ever reproduce this 4 word 19 letter pattern.

indeed We gave you to drink it the inebriant traces/small amounts

                      1. gv multiple = 19 x ...

                      2. a+b+c+d = 19 x ...

                      3. a b c d = 19 x ...

                      4. a 1 b 2 c 3 d 4 = 19 x ...

                      5. a 1 (a+b) 2 (a+b+c) 3 (a+b+c+d) 4 = 19 x ...

                      6. (a+1) 1 (a+1+b+2) 2 (a+1+b+2+c+3) 3 (a+1+b+2+c+3+d+4) 4 = 19 x...

                      7. 1 50 1 60 100 10 50 1 20 40 6 5 1 30 600 40 200 1 500 = 19 x 79031631634216863500 6873705368500

                      8. 2 + 10 + 5 + 2 = 19 x 1 (total letters)

                      9. 2 10 5 2 = 19 x 1108

                      10. 2 1 10 2 5 3 2 4 = 19 x 11106596

                      11. 2 1 12 2 17 3 19 4 = 19 x 1111693326

                      12. 3 1 15 2 23 3 29 4 = 19 x 1639591226

Therefore, did I create miracle verse? No I only built a unique fence around it.
What if each verse had the same consistent pattern? That is evidence of code.

I do not agree on rituals as the Quran details rituals of hajj and shows people do group prayer, bow, prostrate.

                                  Salaam Mazhar sahib,

I am bit confused, I think it was not any book that was presented! those were short verses with gaps that were presented and then memorized and written down and book shape was given at much later stage.

Second by unlettered what is meant?
                                  not knowing how to Read?
                                  Write?
                                  or Both?

                                  Thanks and Ramadan Mubarak

                                    Salaam Mazhar,

(294 You did not recite before it (the Quran) any book (?Kitabeen? indefinite in Arabic), nor did you write any with your right hand?.

(Isaiah 2910) For the Lord has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep, He has shut your eyes, the prophets, and He has covered your heads, the seers. (2911) The entire vision will be to you like the words of a sealed book, which when they give it to the one who is literate, saying, ?Please read this?, he will say, ?I cannot, for it is sealed? (2912) Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying ?Please read this?, and he will say ?I cannot read?.

The above two verses from the Quran and the Bible make it clear that Muhammad was illiterate when he received the revelation.
In sura 96, God commands Muhammad "Iqra!" (Recite!); that is to say without a script, because no physical book fell down from the sky.
In 964, God says that he is "the one who taught through the means of the pen", meaning that muhammad was going to learn how to write and read, since he couldn't "recite before it (the Quran) any book" nor "write with his right hand" (294 prior to receiving the revelation.
Since 2948 says "before it", it suggests that "after it" he learned how to write and read.
Overall, it cannot be more clear that Muhammad was illiterate on the Night of Decree when he received the Quran.
                                    Peace and God bless.

Where did you get "but that he was illiterate at the time he received the revelation." from?

                                      Peace.

                                      Salaam,

Please read my previous post to Mazhar.
                                      God bless.

could also mean " You did not read/preach any book/scripture , nor did you write any book/scripture before this one."

This would not apply that you could not read or write to get by in life (ie illiterate)?

                                        peace.

                                          Very good post @6619!
I like it very much when Qur'an is linked with the Bible, because Qur'an is confirming the Bible which is the ultimate foundation of God's message.

I also agree that Muhammad got the order ""Iqra!" (Recite!); that is to say without a script"" and, in some special way, he learned to write and read some special, or particular, form of Arabic, new, "holy", language, different from vulgar Arabic.
Maybe in that sense he was illiterate to that special holy language, but he knew the ordinary, vulgar and common Arabic, since he was a merchant and a salesman, after all.
