Wash or Wipe your feet

How do you know about absence of vowel marks brother? Even if it was not there, forget about it, Allah is gonna ask you only from what was given to you and not about what was given to people before us.
About washing your feet, 56 has a pattern as per that I understand that we have to wash our feet.

The original arabic did not have any vowel marks because it is well known that these vowels were developed later on laugh
If yuo check older Quranic manuscriptes, you will find that they are missing these vowel marks (e.g golden koran).
Thus if vowel marks were not given to the people before us as divine inspiration, how can we know that these vowel marks are 100% accurate? since ethey were developed After... -

I now follow Rashad Khalifa as the messenger of the covenant 381.
He taught to wash your feet...I recommend going through and studying

Let me try explaining it inshaAllah. There is a clear pattern set in 56, you may need to understand that pattern.
56
56 O you who have believed, when you rise to prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.I have divided this aayat in 3 parts with different colors to make it understand easily.
= Wash
= Wipeincludes - wujuhAkum and - aydiyAkum and - arjulAkum. You can notice "fatha" that sounds like "A" in these words from red highlighted part.
includes - ruoosIkum. Please note "kasra" that sounds like "I" in this word from red highlighted part.
includes - wujoohIkum and - aydIIkum. Please note "kasra" in both the words which is used because of same as used in the red part above . And "fatha" is used to refer .
means "and but He intends to purify/clean you". And legs are parts that get more dirty than other parts of our body mentioned in 56 to wash and wipe. How could we get clean just by wiping our feet? The purpose of ablution is to clean/purify us.

In 7124 the feet have the same "value" as the hands, thus both will be "LaoqatiAAanna" in 56 that is not the case.

Well, i have recently changed my views.

He taught to wash your feet...Sorry Youssef but so did every other prophet back to pre-history. Washing the feet is a sign of respect, it was done thousands of years ago when entering temples and when entering someone's home they washed your feet.

Thus if vowel marks were not given to the people before us as divine inspiration, how can we know that these vowel marks are 100% accurate? since ethey were developed After...Those who developed these conjectural stories perhaps were not even aware that Arabic is a language of syllables, and the smallest syllable comprises of a consonant coupled with a vowel. Minus vowel there is no Arabic language except for conjecture mongers and fools.

56 O you the ones who believe when you stand up to the prayer so wash your faces and your hands to the elbow and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles and if you are impure so purify yourselves and if you are sick or on journey or comes one from you from the toilet or you touched the women so not you find water so do dry ablution ground clean so wipe with your faces and your hands from it not intends The God to make over you from harm in doing and nonetheless intends to cleanse you and to complete His favor over you that you may give thanks
In my view, the logic of the verse implies "wipe". But I dont mind either wash/wipe.

I do not see any issues in " wipe you heads" as separate from the other three parts.
Why did God say " wipe your heads"?
Because the head has got hair and " wash your head "means your hair also!
Now ablution is an instruction to obey God. It is not meant for hygiene purposes.
" wipe your heads" is quick and easy. " Wash your heads" is complicated and a long process.
Some will want to argue for the sake of it! Can you imagine if it was " wash your heads"? Some will want to include shampoo or forbid it, or forbid different types of shampoo and so on...
Why do we make things complicated?

Remember, we are diverse. The main thing is that ablution is four parts
1-Face, 2- arms/hands 3- head and 4-feet.
How you do it , how many times you wash each part, how much water you use, which direction you face, what you say while doing it ... is left to the individual. Quick and easy is preferable!
Whether you use a small amount of water is irrelevant. The other main point is " Wash" and "wipe" , wipe is meant for " head" as I explained in my last post.

peaceYes, he has summarized views of different people. But he has no tenable point in favour of wipe for feet instead of washing with water.
These parts are mostly open, the cells of the skin keep dying. Every minute about 30,000 to 40,000 cells of the skin die. On epidermis, the part of the skin we see, are many dead cells mixed with sticky stuff created by sebaceous and sweat glands. The dead cells are but filth.
This requirement for As-salat enables us refresh and clean our skin and wiping of the hair helps protect them from damage to be caused by dust and pollution of the atmosphere.- And this ablution enables us refresh the memory like the RAM of the computer to leave behind the worldly affairs to enter into a new realm.
The basic perception infolded in Root " " is to wash with water signifying the removing of dirt, or filth or the like thereof by making water to run over it resulting in cleansing/free from unpleasantness-impurity. And the basic perception infolded in the Root " " is also to make something clean or pure from dirt or filth. In both, the basic job done is to segregate oneself, one thing from the impurities clung to it/around it. The distinction and peculiarity, however, of the two is that " " is restrictively used for corporeal cleaning/purification with water while Root " " has connotation both corporeal and ideological and can be attained both with the help of water and otherwise.
