    Salaam brother,

    Thanks for your feed back.

In the ayat 20109 Allah is referring to the (word, speech), which He is (accepts)

    Sahih International
That Day, no intercession will benefit except one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word. 20109
    Yusuf Ali
On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him. 20109

There is nothing wrong with the above translations, in relation to what Allah is referring as an "acceptable word", Allah explains the "word" in the ayat below

    Sahih International
indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 6940
    Yusuf Ali
That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 6940

I hope it clarifies any misunderstanding.

    Peace

    Salam,

I just realized the '' in the Sahih International translation, how stupid of me to not notice it before, for now it makes sense.

    Sorry for any disturbance.

    Peace

In my opinion, it was a good question from you, which clarified the things further for everyone else here. I thank you for your valuable input.

Hence the notion that the Prophet will save those of his followers who are even great sinners and will pull them out of hell and let them enter heaven does not seem to coincide with the Quran at all.

The next question to be asked is "Where does this idea came from?".

It came from Christianism, as the Islam (note capital "I&quot Clerics/Priest are competing with them for 'sheep' and followers, they need to prove that their newly created Islam religion is much more superior than their competing product, Christianity.

Since Christianity based most of their 'features' around Jesus, thus the Islam Clerics/Priest must invented something to show that their idol / main feature of Islam religion; Muhammad, is greater or at least on-par with Jesus.

As Jesus was and is advertised as capable of saving sinners out from hell for those who believe in him.
Well that alone is not enough, they also need to join the Christianity religion.
And well ... that alone is not enough, as they also need to join the correct Christianity sect (let's put Catholics) and those who joined the deviant Orthodox or Protestant or Anglican church will not be saved by Jesus.
And well ... that alone is not enough, as they need to buy the confession paper available for (discounted) sale through any local catholic church near you..
Only by then Jesus will save you from hell..

Thus the Islam clerics/priest 'countered' the Christian advertisement with their own advertising campaign.
Muhammad can also save the sinner from Hell!!
Of course only with specific "Terms & Conditions", those who are Shiites, Ahmadis and other deviant sects will not be saved by Muhammad.

          Salam / Peace

Allah says without any ambiguity or contradiction

Allah would allow intercession only from the honoured witnesses who would speak in favour of His Judgement, and who would testify against the guilty. Even the eyes, the ears, the skins, the hands and the legs would speak against the guilty. And upon the mouth of the guilty would be the seal.

            2 48.

            Peace.
