Where is the Golden Rule in the Quran?

AlhamduliAllah... I don't fall under your Golden Rule which is made by Your Sahih Muslim and Wikipedia and NOT approved by Allah in the way it is presented.
I appreciate your honesty that the Golden Rule isn't in the Quran and that you don't believe in it.
If only your fellow Quranists would be as honest as you and admit the Golden Rule is not in the Quran.

PEOPLE SOMETIME WISH FOR THEMSELVES THINGS THAT ARE NOT GOOD FOR THEM...if you apply the "rule" here it would be terrible,
Also sometimes (actually most of the time) the things we wish for us are not good for others (your "golden rule" fails here too)So think about your "Golden rule" which you put in higher position that the WORD of God.

The Golden Rule is a general principle, meaning like most general principles it may have exceptions where it shouldn't be applied. But generally speaking, the Golden Rule also known as the Rule of Thumb is accepted worldwide by all humanity as a universal moral code to live by - all humanity except the Quranists of course.

As far as I am concerned, the phrase "treat your neighbor as yourself" was allegedly uttered by Jesus believably roughly 2000 years ago and has nothing to do with hadith of Muhammad. Of course, Muhammad may have reused the expression since it is in the peaceful nature of God's religion.
If you are guided by God's Light this phrase turns into common sense and it is astonishing that one may say you cannot find paraphrasing of the behavior in the Quran and can draw the conclusion from it which means the same as Jesus' alleged expression back then.
Jesus believed that God would give him anything he needed and so should you. Since we may not be as strong in the Holy Spirit as Jesus, God gave us the Quran as a compensation.
Still, with or without the Quran, the Message will come to you as long as you stay patient and steadfast and worship God alone and do not associate any partners with Him. Quran is, as it claims itself to be, a guide for mankind, but people could be righteous before its revelation so it proves that in the bottom it comes down to trust in God and His system and steadfast reverence.
My inspiration/intuition I receive from my Lord is that the hadith commonly attributed to the prophet Muhammad are more or less a pile of dirt composed by people who thought they were clever.
God said "What other hadith than mine do they believe in?"
God means the scriptural information which he has sent down through inspiration and not man-made junk. It is blasphemous to attribute information to God which He had no role in. Hadith could be translated into something less awkward though. God's hadith means it was God who "spoke" recorded by someone, in the case of Quran, Muhammad.

Actually "treat your neighbor as yourself" is not as broad and universal as the Hadith "Treat people as you love to be treated", because the former is restricted to neighbors, while the latter is for all human beings.

That's not what the verse says. It says
So in which Hadeeth after that will they believe? If you look at the context, it is condemning the rejectors (not those who affirm the Sunnah). Hadeeth here is referring to what Allah has revealed (both Quran and Sunnah).
The Quran never says "What other hadith than mine do they believe in" totally wrong and misleading translation. See I know the Quran better than you Quranists.

Sorry to say, but the Quran means your beloved hadith. There is just one sunnah and that is God's sunnah. The hadith you refer to is just hocus pocus.
Hadith is not revelation, it is the invented garbage by hypocrites the Quran so often talks about.
And your translation supports my argument even more. Thank you for helping fight yourself )
The neighbor thing in the saying is not literal. It means you should treat everyone around you in a good way.

However if you admit that the Golden Rule is not to be found in the Pure Quran, then you will have to admit that the text of the Quran is missing very important moral lessons and requires Hadith.
There is many such verses in the Quran.
It tells us when people greet us we are to greet them they way they greet us or better.
It says that we should forgive others just like we want God to forgive us.
It says we are to honor our obligation when other honor their obligation.The Quran is big in reciprocity and equity.
You who believe! be upholders of justice, bearing witness for Allah alone, even against yourselves or your parents and relatives. Whether they are rich or poor, Allah is well able to look after them. Do not follow your own desires and deviate from the truth. If you twist or turn away, Allah is aware of what you do. (Surat an-Nisa?, 135)
In fact the Quran goes beyond the golden rule to
Not equal are the good and the bad response. You shall resort to the one which is better. Thus, the one who used to be your enemy, may become your best friend. 41.34

We are told throughout the Book to treat others as GOD WOULD LIKE US TO TREAT them because a mo'min submit himself to the will of God not to his selfish desire. If the 'golden rule ' is in your hadith, this proves that the hadith is man made and not from Allah (BTW thank you for this another proof that ahadith are not from God brother Israfeel). As for your 1000 dollars,if it is a surplus, give it to the orphans because it's God's will as mentionned in the Quran.

The golden rule is not always true, as it has some limitations. I will give you some examples
Imagine person x is suicidale and would like to be killed, should he kill person y in order to be killed back by y... That doesn't make much sense.
Let's try again
Imagine a masochist following this golden rule, for him to hurt others is not problem because he also would like to be abused. This example shows that the golden rule by itself is incomplete, and should be amended by other rules, like the rule "do not spread corruption".
I hope this shows why this rule is not mentionned in that form in al-quran.

You raise a very valid point and I considered this as well previously. In terms of where this is coming from though, in traditions like Christianity they will say 'love thy neighbour' and many other things to explain this is only for good.
It's a bit like if someone takes the whole patiently persevering thing out of context in the Quran, and says well that could apply just as much the terrorists as any actual Muslim. When in fact in the Quran, it's talking about doing it for good purposes.
