How does the little creatures see my body ?
-
Peace be upon you,
My understanding is that the creatures that inhabit our body see our body as a home, or if they are really small, they see it like we see Earth.
As far as cells, it is my understanding that they understand TRUE MONOTHEISM. They understand the term "individual", which is an indivisible duality. It means that on one side they are all joined, on the physical side they are seperate, but they do not keep thier conscious focused onthe seperated part, but instead on the JOINED part, so they work as ONE.
Than have you ever thought that the earth itself with all other planets might have a soul and we inhabit the earth. And the rivers being its vain, water as blood. We humans, some friendly and some not. And the earths health also dipends on how help him.?

Yes, I have thought that, MANY times D The God does use this as symbolism for us, as he states that rain(revelation) gives life to a dead earth(HUman).
But I tke it at this time only as a metaphor, because if we take it literal, then why does this ENTITY that we inhabit never have needles stuck in it, or get hit by a car, or have other BLOWS to its vehicle that would shake our earth, just as I am sure we shake our CELLS when we have injuries and run into thinigs.
So again, I do keep that in mind, but I keep in as a metaphor until I see knowledge of such a larger PHYSICAL being.

What about the meators...??? may be the planets have a different way of interacting and motion system..

Peace Kyle,

Firstly, rain has not only to do with humans but multitude of other reasons. Secondly, you are once again seperating and emphasizing English words by "HUman" just like you did with "MUhammad"? What's up with this man? Now, what does "hu" mean in Englsih and how does it relate to "man" to become "hu-man" meaning human? Please explain?

You said that "We've got the mind...", If you can concieve the abstract term "mind", then why cant you concieve the absract term "soul"?
Ok, I've got the mind, lol. My intepretation anyway, I was just inviting other people to give their intepretations. Mind is intellect, knowledge. Soul is emotion; moral compass. I'm sure you can imagine an individual who is a genius and yet at the same time 'soulless', lets say like Hitler, etc.
To me they are the SAME THING, mind/soul/spirit are the same thing, the Ruh being seperate from that described as "energy".
To me they're definitely not. Mind is not brought to account on judgement day, the Soul is, the controller of this shell of a body. The mind comes with the body, the soul controls the mind, which moves the body via electrical signals, etc.
But again, how did you understand "mind" but not "soul"?
As I've explained above, thats the way I look at things, whats worth debating is where the mind and soul are. I think the term 'human being' is defined by Mind, Body, and Soul. Body is apparent, mind is usually perceived or protrayed to be in the brain, and the soul in the heart. Although I dont take the location of mind and soul too literally, it is still fitting in a way.
Another funny observation, when you refer to yourself, you usually point to your chest, not your head, heh.

Peace be upon you Danish,

Is it used as a metaphor for revelation, yes or no?

I am not connecting "HUman" with "MUhammad", the discussion about MUhammad was about the ARABic prefix 'MU".
Regarding HUman, I emphasized the HU to bring out the meaning of that word. It comes from the understanding that the human body is made of earth (HUmus). So when you combine HUmus + Man, you get HUman. Thats all.

I cant imagine that because EVERYONE has a "nafs", Hitler only corrupted his nafs instead of purifying it.

I guess that all depends on what you translate NAFS, I'll start a seperate thread for it.

Peace all
nice thread
those creatures that inhabit our bodies might or might not have souls/minds - I don't know how Allah has proportioned them in this respect.
I'd just want to throw in an observation about Humans. In our cultural evolution we have overcome many things - we are no longer hunted by animals, we no longer have to fight bears for space in caves, we sit at the top of a food chain whose components are the rest of the natural world.
And yet in all our apparent self sufficency it is still these tiny organisms which can cause us harm, can strike us down if Allah wills.
I believe those small organisms which inhabit our bodies - both those which aid us and which harm us - are meant to remind us of our place in creation and to not lose sight of that fact that we are khalifa only by Allah's permission..... how great are we that the smallest of creation can wreck the edifaces we build....Avarian flu anyone?

Greetings with peace,
Another funny observation, when you refer to yourself, you usually point to your chest, not your head, heh.
If you didn't know, some Japanese people point to their nose to refer to themselves. Now is their "soul" in their nose?
