    Salaam,

I am ready to believe in someone if they have something sensible to say. But some things I doubt and that is glorious words which are obviously tantamount to idolization used when talking about the "fantastic" Imams of the descendants of Muhammad.

Are they even important or is it the Message whih is important? If I was a Messenger, I would certainly not want any fame or glory and would rather divert this focus on God and this was just what Muhammad and his predecessors did. They never care about fame and as you see there is little information about the person Muhammad in the Book.

The same for any hypothetical righteous Imams who wanted to follow in their ancestor's footsteps. They would not seek to be remembered as glorious Imams, but they would be devoted to the One without any selfishness.

Still, what I follow is sensible information. God's religion takes rationality and logic to follow without going astray. Please define intelligence on a high level. Would 'X' Imam came to me and what he said made sense then I would follow him end of story. The rest I trust that God will lead me straight. I would certainly work to verify what he said though and since I have Quran it has to follow its guidelines and not invent any religious rituals.

    God bless you

      Salam,

Everyone will be safe as long they follow closely the signs of Allah... "Sirat al-Mustaqim"

There's nothing better than this ...

And whoever submits his face to Allah
while he is a doer of good
then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold
And to Allah will be the outcome of matters. (<a href="http//quran.com/31/22">3122</a>.)

Allah does not charge a soul except (with that within) its capacity ... (<a href="http//quran.com/2/286">2286</a&gt

I am so impressed with your posts that I went back to read your previous posts where you wrote; I'm reciting lots of al-Fatiha to my soul and others, including to mountains, trees, sky, enemies, jins and iblis etc etc etc... as a way of praising Allah for his creations. It helped me to understand life and become peaceful with myself and others. (6.65) (14.7)
insha'ALLAAH you are on your way to straight path if you keep doing the same.

I have seen your excellent questions again, in off topic section of my thread, it will be my pleasure to address one by one all the questions with reference from the Qur'aan, for now just bear with me as my mind is not tired but eyes are ;D

My first priority today is to read the post below properly as I just had cursory look due other distractions, after that I will relax and enjoy addressing your questions to me insha'ALLAAH.

I personally wont go to the extreme of saying that islam is a very easy religion . I thimk it is easy in the sense that it only orders that which is necessary and does not promote the following or practicing of aimless rituals like offering sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins, right-foot ,left-foot wearing a turban or growing a beard but it isnt easy in the sense that the commandment to make Justice on earth applies not only to leaders but to everyone.(Enjoin that which is right and forbid that whichis wrong) We as Quranists must be involved in Welfare development in one way or the order and seek to promote justice and human rights, and blow the whistles on the false practices of Sunni muslims and Shia especially when it causes harm e.g underage marriage(in Africa) and trying to legalize it in the name of Islam and the Prophet, hate of non-muslims, especially apostates, and the wearing of Niqab(in some places in Africa some fathers hit their daughters for not wearing an Hijab) in some cases forcibly. Also the code of etiquette propagated in the Quran calls for avoidance of Anger, rage, jealous, hate or hate speech, and cultivation of a quiet attitude, respect for all etc. but considering the behavior of people these days its very hard to stay nice. just pointing it out. Peace

That is exactly why the claim of being within the direct blood line of the prophet Muhammad, pbuh is a lie. One can claim to have come down the genealogy tree of Muhammad's cousin, Ali, but not Muhammad himself. The double standard starts right at the root of the matter. The second in line progenitor is a female, i.e. Fatimah, the prophet's daughter, then all of a sudden and from there, all the way down the whole "ANCESTRAL" tree all the female progenitors are getting factored out of the equation. How logical and or scientific! o

              Peace,
              Khalil

Male or female; how is that important? Genetically you are a direct descendant of the prophet (saws), if you descend from one of his children. In addition there is the genetic input of Ali (ra), the cousin of Fatima's father.

                  Salam,

It is the main objective of creation (<a href="http//quran.com/2/30">230</a>, <a href="http//quran.com/49/13">4913</a>, <a href="http//quran.com/2/111-115">2111-115</a&gt, from "many" to "one". Challenges in our life, and only then we will know what is Allah. Hence, I'm struggling spiritually to understand life and making peace with all Allah's creatures, beyond religion and shutting off the "gods and ulemas inside us" (<a href="http//quran.com/45/23">4523</a&gt.

Allah has not put for any man two hearts inside his body. (<a href="http//quran.com/33/4">334</a&gt + (<a href="http//quran.com/56/77-79">5677-79</a&gt

May Allah guide us all. Thank you.

I would say genetics plays an important part in the formation of our resp. personalities; just how great is difficult to assess obviously. You could perhaps say that genetics may provide a healthy plant, and the careful nurturing of it brings out a good tree.
Obviously there are good and bad plants in every environment so no need to be despondent if, like me, you have 'next to no direct link to Semitic prophets'. You could still grow to be, as it were a very useful tree, bearing rich fruit. yes

Wsalam I guess this leads to my next question, does having a genetic link to Ali make one more intelligent, more attractive, deserve more respect or more worthy of God than one without?

I would say no, but it makes you more likely to have inherited some of the good qualities of prophet Muhammad (saws), which were apparent in many of his descendants. With careful nurturing, you may also be more prone to fear God and, perhaps be charitable and disposed to studying and reflecting on His signs in this world.
With no comparisons, apart from the purely genetical, when breeding excellent horses one selects, for a quality breeding mare, a stallion whose offspring displays a strong resemblance to their sire, in the complimenting qualities you look for. This will greatly enhance chances of breeding excellence. Genetically the same holds true for humans. peace

Continuing the genetical comparison to horse breeding; if you have genetically outstanding breeding material you may want to try linear breeding(in-breeding) where a Sire (father) may cover his daughter etc.
This could produce a very stable and predictable breed, where the offspring are all but clones of its Sire. The Muslim custom of cousin marriages can produce very similar results over time. wow

671 Say, "Shall we call upon other than God what cannot benefit us or harm us, and we turn back on our heels after God has guided us?" This is like the one whom the devils have managed to mislead on earth, he is confused, having friends who call him to the guidance "Come to us!" Say, "The guidance is God's guidance, and we have been ordered to peacefully surrender to the Lord of the worlds."

                                  From Gita--

Whosoever desires to worship whatever deity ? using any name, form, and method ? with faith, I make their faith steady in that very deity. Endowed with steady faith they worship that deity, and obtain their wishes through that deity. Those wishes are, indeed, granted only by Me. (7.21-22)

I would like to talk to you about who the Neo-Tucsonians are and about their onslaught. For a proper and complete explanation of this, I need more time. If I would give just a little information it would make no sense and then I feel that you and the others would prolong your onslaught against me. If you will be a little more patient I will present everything in a future thread of the same name inshaa ALLAAH. For now

All those who are Shi'a please raise your hands!

It makes no difference who you descended from, hidden books, special knowledge, race
are all nonsense unless God states it to be so like in the case of Ibrahim. The Quran
makes no mention of a special lineage of Muhammad. It is a Shi'a innovation. Please

Let me correct you . There have always been people who excel others and to an extent their children inherit the preponderance to excellence through their genes and then with nurturing and, setting a good example, their offspring take after them.

Just look at the illustrious line of Imraan that has produced such a great number of prophets and righteous servants of Allaah (swt). This is no invention by the Shiaa but a part of His great plan.
                                          peace
