Why did Allah preserve the Quran & not its meaning?
-
the meaning is perserved because the quran is perserved.....
seriously did you or think thinking? or did yo out reason reason?
-
It is not preserved because it was a revelation to one man, Muhammad, and it was never intended to be a religion "en masse", but just his own workbook for self-help, as he often says in the Qur'an "my Lord" many times... I follow my religion and you follow yours, I worship what I worship and you... etc etc...

I take it you do not consider your self to be a Muslim - in the traditional sense?
Also - considering what you said above
How do you reconcile that with the fact that many verses allude to Quran being a revelation for the people?
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah -"

Yes, whoever raises his mind to the level of consciousness which symbolizes Allah, same as Muhammad achieved... that;s why it is said "for those" and not for everybody!

But you are NOT that person - in the sense you consider yourself above everyone - are you? And obviously no one is going to be similar to the Blessed Prophet himself. And the verse is there for everyone - that is everyone can attain that level.
And you have not answered this

Look this contradicts what you are saying now. You've clearly said - that Quran was only for one man - but the book itself says it isn't.
-
It seems that you have your own formed opinions as you demonstrated all over the place, so I cannot add anything to it.
Peace
-
hmm Doesn't everyone have their own formed opinions?
Exactly! And those everybody's formed opinions prevent them from achieving that state which enabled Muhammad to be a receptacle of God's Wisdom ("words".

And what about you? Are you going to shed some more light . . . or is that it? Not very helpful is it? In your view - how does a person reach such a stage?
-
1817 "Whomever God guides is the truly guided one, and whomever He sends astray, you will not find for him a guiding teacher".

In other words - one will never know - who or who isn't rightly guided - and there is no criteria for measurement either!
