Both men and women do have the responsibility to do good but what people now seem to keep undermining is how women are being brainwashed or rather trained to dress lustfully.
Because Rockefeller, the criminal, triggered the modern day feminism to destroy nuclear families. I gave some links to true story in my second post. Check it.

Please do not speak something which is not true about me, huruf. I am not ignoring women and I am holding women on equal level with men, only that like I said it is just one edge of the problems out there.
Treating girls/women like sex objects or like toys have much to do with your media providers and the image they project about women and it is the community at whole which has to deal with these kinds of problems. It is a stereotypical behavior that has been there for long and growing for the worse and the sexism is going further and further down the ages with girls putting on makeup and tempting clothes even as preteens. When this kind of mentality with females as toys there is no wonder why things are difficult to improve.
But like I said; "feminism" is just one side of the coin and the main issue is the fostering of the youth into having a better perception of life. This is not ignoring women, but taking the issue to the root instead of just cutting branches.

Fully agree with you Man of Faith. Feminism started with good intention, but during the mid 1900's it got hijacked. The views they enforce are too generalized and have been devastating for both men and women. They haven't truly got into the main topics of women's empowerment. How they fooled the masses?

There is freedom in shedding clothes. I know Man of Faith already included it above. But let me add that at the end, it only hurts the women. The idea of skimpy clothes now is the norm. Its a part of cheering leading, formal events (gowns are usually sleeveless) and of course, summer. The feminists do not take responsibility for the torture the women must now silently due to harsh weather. When I was in mid west, I saw cheerleaders in skimpy clothes getting forced to do their routine at 7am in the morning. Temperature that time was somewhere below 15 degree.

In order to fill empowered women must sleep around just like men. Feminists do not take the responsibility for three ruined lives. The girl, the child and the guy. Okay, lets say the danger of getting pregnant can be avoided. But birth control pills don't prevent stds and unfortunately, women are more vulnerable to them than men. Feminists dont pay a dime for the treatment. They make no promise to help the mother bring up the kid.

Marriages are prison. But they are okay with the struggle of single moms. Bringing up a kid alone is not an easy thing. If the mother is a teen, most often she is forced to sacrifice college education to take up an odd job to bring up the kid. In some cases, she has to go through humiliation. Single motherhood also lessens her chance of getting a husband of her choice because when a child is involved, she dreams of having a man who would accept him. Whether he is psychologically compatible with her gets shelved.

Men have always been plotting to destroy the rights of women. This is called divide and rule. Not all men are evil. Not all women are victims. As I said once, evil doesn't see gender. Almost anyone can be evil or victim. Saying that all men are evil is equal to all Muslims are terrorist, all Chinese people eat dogs, all Mexicans are illegal immigrants, all blacks are criminals, all whites want to invade, all jews want to take over the world, etc. In brief, its a grave generalization bordering on cruel discrimination.

Men have created the rape culture. This is partially true. However, its rare for women to be randomly raped by male strangers (India being an exception). In US, the number one most raped women are sorority sisters. Fraternity members are often the rapists and they don't truly hold honorable opinions about women. In fact, they see them like sex objects. If I hang out with these guys completely drunk at parties I don't think I will come out safe. Saying that rapists must respect women is same as teaching a crocodile to not eat humans.
What feminists are beautifully avoiding
- Women even in a country like US are discouraged to study in science field. I dont see feminists fighting to eliminate this problem.
- No equal pay. Even in a country like US, in a same job position, a woman makes less than the man.
- People still think women are too dumb to lead. Hence, we havent had a female president. Feminists are not much interested in this.
- Women still are required to compromise. Not all women want to have sex. But feminists along with Kinsey have created a society where if a woman says no it they risk getting dropped by their boyfriends. Its proven by research.
- Employers prefer male job candidates over female candidate. Caught it in a research I was doing for a class.
- Women are still seen as burden in the army. They are not allowed to go in the battle field.
- When a man fails in some kind of work he is called a woman by the society to signal that he is weak. Behaving like a female is still taken as funny. But when a woman behaves like a man she gains honors.

If you were consistent then you should stand for real feminism if you think that is has been highjacked. Just like you should discard anything to do with islam, Qur'an included if you pick like others pick as real islam the islam you can criticise as condemn.

The problem is much wider than that, like I said just one side of the coin, it is an attitudinal issue and is rooted deep even into politics and that is individualism and the greed for more and materialism where women turn into a material possession rather than a human life, much like everything else in these communities. One should have a woman for selfish motives I have understood while talking to other men and rarely for the sake of union itself and often the ego is involved as to why people stick together. Often is falls back to possession rather than anything else.
What I wanted to have said is that many people marry for the possessions, i.e. spouse, children and villa and as fancy car as possible. It may scream of social status. Well that is not the issue where women primarily enter the picture, but it may be when the man has the female as possession which is a stronger phenomenon when marriage is not involved and women "fight" in competition by way of dress and appearance, and men by fierceness and popularity and social status. It is how society works usually on a superficial level.
But the deeply rooted problem is not the females but the behavior of greed. The problem is that; if not the humans think then they are no better than animals with instincts. What you see is just instinctive and when women no longer also follow the "game" then it is utter chaos. People are just peeing their territory. This is why I said all the time that better role models, leaders and education is needed to turn around the negative trend. Good spiritual ideas would help. In ways it was detrimental to walk away from some of the old idealism from Christianity for example, particularly the so called "Christian values". When people no longer believe in the Prophets and God, or at least believe in a higher power that makes you need to be good, then it is difficult to maintain a reasonable order. If people behave in ignorance then it will only be worse, and I see signs that times are going for the worse by day. In fact I see signs of WW3 to be on a pessimist side. The fault is man and his greed (both men and women) and no low/humble/spirit but only WANT. I want this or that is a problem around the globe and also why women fall into the shadows since men are usually physically stronger, reckless and overally less conscientious and often more thoughtless than women in terms of expressing greed for possessions.
Our society claimed to stand for Christian values and then they ought to show it. But no; if God is just portrayed as a grumpy bearded old skyman and Jesus his weak son who gets crucified on a cross despite being a son of a god, it will not return people to faith in 2014. The sects caused doom upon their own people for something they were to protect and they do not follow the covenant between Abraham and God by not keeping the knowledge of what God is and stands for and not even remembering Elah stands for "be that it is, no personification and just a powerful force to be reckoned with. Science has killed the neanderthalistic portrayals of faith and God which has not kept up to the 21st century and thus the (originally good) clerics lost their "grip" on mankind and also showing greed and bad ways instead of what they were originally taught to teach people.
Fortunately I see a light in the darkness and I may know from God what many others do not know. I see a renewal.

Hrrm... no I am not refusing to acknowledge anything regarding women. It is another gender with different qualities and a good "balance-board" from the sometimes emotionally sterile climate among men, which is often getting the worst of men's materialism and greed. And women are often seen negatively and less capable due to their different nature. But it is still a uni-gender societal problem and a concern for everyone that is the real solution to the problem.

Women are as a soul so little differentiated in worth that God mainly only uses a suffix to divide between the two. If women are mistreated or disregarded in any way then this is injustice and from an "Islamic" standpoint wrong. And this is not the only kind of injustice which occurs daily in our societies but one side of the coin, like I have said several times now.

I am not picking Islam. I feel thankful to Allah for showing me the path to Quran. I have got my views from it. If we want to be equal we must treat one another like humans instead of enemies. In Quran, Allah said on and on not to accuse anyone of any crime without full knowledge. This means I am allowed to point my finger only at the main male criminal and not at all men.

I do agree with you huruf. But how do we change people's views in a society where lady gaga proudly sings "pop culture is in me"? She confidently says that she influences the styles of little girls and you know very well what a junk she is! The only good thing she once said was that girls must wait instead of rushing to bed. But now its the time of Miley Cyrus who these days sings about drugs and odd upfront sexual stuffs. She has crossed every limit that neither Madonna nor Lady Gaga ever attained. And yes, she has backing from the corporate and bloody Rockefeller.

If you go to promote your views you won't be allowed to enter the popular feminist organizations guarded by those two. Their feminists promote what I wrote above and if you make one little criticism about it you will be banned or even murdered. That's why, they are known as extremists. Their feminist professors are now in school to brainwash students. I took women studies classes. Trust me, they like to hear the worst stuff only about women of color. In one class, I was researching on HIV in women. For Texas, I found out that white women carried it more than all others. I included it in my paper with citation. The comment I got from the professor was that I made up the stat o. I was like wtf! why did she overlook my citation? Also its common sense that since TX had more white population, the white females made up the majority in HIV demographic. Later I realized that she wanted me to write that its black or Mexican women who had high rate of HIV. I don't think one with such a narrow mind is here to truly fight for women. Then there was another divorced feminist professor who used to hate writings where men were presented in neutral way or when they included true stories about abusive women. They simply wanted us to grow useless ego.

Reel - I have searched about Rockefeller. I also came across his plans to destroy families and him behind feminism. There was this interview I was watching and this man, who is no more, said Rockefeller told him he was the one behind to sponsor feminists organizations. Of course, I don't exactly remember that man's name and I do not know if I have the link of that interview now. I have bad memory when it comes to exact details and names. That was during when I was searching 9/11 and NWO.
I don't know if I can have any exact opinion on Rockefeller though. I do not have exact proof. It would be wrong if I judge him when I didn't see him doing with my own eyes. Only God knows for sure. I will be just careful of him and his plans.
I was commenting on an article about ISIS. The media here is filled with news about them and anti-islam, and the comments are worse. They know nothing about Quran and say how it promotes violence with all the Hadiths which they also post. I posted a comment under a post saying it is not the Qur'an with the verses showing it is not the Qur'an's teachings, and yahoo deleted my comment 4-5 times. I guess they just do not want people to see the truth like what is happening to your research being manipulated. They just want masses to remain clueless thinking there is war on terror and the other side extremist ignorant ones to join ISIS.

I was talking about Christian values as in what Jesus taught and Christians generally propose and not the weirdness in the Old Testament. Forgiveness, empathy and lots of other generally accepted traits.

We are always going to have the same problem with groups and ideals. The power will not let itself be shaken by any upstart. That is the stand of imperials all through history. The crookedness and perfidy of roman imperial manipulations of facts and people are sickenning.
That has nto died. It is like that. We must count on that. We see it all the time in politics. "Left" parties pushing through "rightist" policies that a right party might have had a hard time pushing through. Here in Spain we have had now nearly fifty years of that.
So what do we do? We rennounce our struggle for justice and acknowledgement because the imperials have managed to poison every source of ideals? That is their game, we cannot fall for it. We must have a clear conscience of what we have. We KNOW that the feminine sepecificity has been left out of mainstream thought. Or rather has been left out alltogether. Every thought process and political thought is gorunded as a function of the male being the "normal" or representative human being and woman being just some exception. But that is wrong. And the Qur'an understands it, logically and makes things as a function of women, and not as a function of males. Because women have in common with males almost everything males have. I mean a woman can intellectually and physically do the same as men can do. May be depending on the things, more efficiently or less efficiently. For instance, any woman can use a hammer, just like any man can, deending on individuals hit stronger or less strong, but that is a matter of degree. But males cannot absolutely cannot in any degree, conceive, get pregnant and give birth to children. So it is obvious that woman cannot get justice, nor the whole human kind cannot get things right if woman is oushed into the "general" bunch, when it happens that by default the general bunch is made on the image of the male.
The Qur'an is right. Society must be thought out as a function the femaly human being, and not as a function of the male human being, because doing it the Qura'nic way nobody is left out, but doing it as a function of males, half huanity and the whole matter of reproduction is left out.
Women cannot be held pows for ages because they happen to be the key for the future of the species. They have a right to freedom as women, not as b-males. Women have a right to freedom without being forced to switch off her female parameters.
And when and if that is achieved everybody will be much happier, specifically males which might finally live in a world of reality and not in a world where they are the stars, or should be the stars, which right now weights heavily on the male psyche, having to respond to an image of success that most of the time they cannot hold and sacrifice their own natural self for the sake of their male image.

I am glad reel that you finally see what I mean. And I can see what you depict in universities in USA and so on. Academia, unfortunately, in the human sciences and in others sciences I am afraid is also a battleground. But we shouold not let others to pick our struggles for us.
As to Man of Faith, i have many times in this forum I think sppoken against many injsutices, too many times to be told now that I cannot just fight for one part of humanity that I must take all. That is what I do all the time, but each single thing has its own terms, and concerning women, to merge it in some global things only serves to drawn the issue, bury it and never again have any glimpsy of what are the roo issues. The root issue is to deep and fundamental to dumpp it together within a sea of issues. It is a root issue, if we solve that may more things will fall into place.
As to those lady something and all that, I do not watch those things, don't tell me anything, but I know there is awar against youth and childhood, because those are the ages when they cannot defend themselves and particularly at adolescence they are very vulnerable. It is very, very tough today to be parents, but still we must do our best and trust the younger generations, when they grow they will know better. But even while pinting out whatever is worth pointing out to them, we must trust them. We all need to be trusted in order to feel some healthy pride on ourselves and carry forward and ultimately they will mature and they may surprise us with their wisdom. Like my mother used to say To learn we must spoil. It is not the end of the world. The important thing is that we, the older generation they have at hand, know our beliefs and act in accordance. That is the most impportant thing. What we say goes nowhere. What we are is what will stay with them always and is what they will earn from us. Let us be faithful and they will remember, and les us not be ppesimistic. The world will continue to be the world, a mixture of bad and good, but I think there willb e good for sure. We just have to do our part.

Sorry, but the women maltreatment is one of the branches stemming from a central root, i.e. a attitudinal issue, but that does not mean one should not stand up if women become treated unfairly however it is one side of the problem more deeply rooted.
What I discussed about the cold climate in society and primitive peeing of territory and every man for himself, are among causing factors in the whole problem.
Unfortunately I see the same low valuation of human life disregarding gender and hence why I said that the woman part is one of the branches of a wider problem. A total "turn around" is required and less individualism. Women have legally the same rights in most developed countries of the world compared to as little as 100 years ago, and the main issue today is the superficial approach to life, but women is not the only focus group in society and this is why I talked about one side of the coin.
Yet the root of the problem is the ego of each individual human and their greed, impatience and intolerance and often lack of sound judgment and lack of wisdom and thought. The situation for many women is an expression of those factors, and as you can see a unigender change is necessary and feminism is a lacking in cover areas while humanism covers them all. The wider cover area of an ideology the better because the more fixated at one question it becomes the more prone to extremism it is. Today's fixation on feminism in at least my country, because I have only followed domestic politics at the moment, is causing a complete oblivion of the biggest societal issues, ones of thinking about humans as a collective and not sufficient humanism. We see ourselves that intolerance, hatred and hostility is growing involving many factors and then women is one reducing in severity right now.

may I add my two cents to the conversation. I can proudly say I am a woman and at the same time I agree and understand the position of Man in Faith and reel. First of all, we should define what feminism means for us.
Of course, emancipation of women is absolutely praiseworthy, it brought the dynamic of the society governed by patriarchat (say level Extreme A) to the balanced(QUranic/enlightened) ( neutral) level. Now we have the exact opposite trend (say Extreme Z) a trend in which women should be equal to men in all aspects, without understanding differences phisiological, biological, hormonal, whatever. This is the current which tells that women should fight for power just as the men do etc. Such process in the long term creates social enemity between women and men, and can disturb family and social life. This bring us to the situation when we have to fight and hate each other and even themselves. Women hate their own feminine side and try to prove that they are like men, they say its unfair they have to give birth to children,. And men are becoming confused which results in either them becoming even worse shauvinistic tyrants protecting their position or sexually confused, hating and mistrusting women, and finally turning into various sexual disorders (homo, bi, etc).Actually the same happens with women...
The most ironical and dramatic to me is that this hatred between sexes expressed by angry 'feminists' is (from my historical perspective) quite a direct consequence of patriarchat, and yet still, instead of giving women relief, it only adds up to the pressures of behaving as men, achieving what men do and forgetting their feminine side and feminine powers.
It is really regrettable that we (women and men) are gradually losing real connection with each other, unable to really understand who we are and be happy and respecting what the other sex can bring to the table.Thank you

I think in my life I have never seen any "extreme war" between the sexes ( and ♀ in my country.
In my view, commonly, the Indonesian men have adequate appreciation and respect for Indonesian women. I see that we (the women here) can freely go and perform various activities without having to worry despised or demeaned by men only because we're women. Praise be to God.

Both men and women need to understand, the traditional child bearing and family oriented role by women is as important as the bread-earner role of men. This by no means imply that women cannot engage in bread-earning activities or, men cannot take up family roles - just important to note these two roles are equally important and complementary to each other. Whereas, it is absolute injustice for men to look down upon their "house-wives" for their family-oriented role - it is equally unwise for women to suffer from inferiority complex for such role.
May Allah guide us all to the straight route.

thank you armanaziz for your feedback. Let me explain what I meant by that. In nutshell, I tend to see some connection between feminist movements and turning sexuality upside down (or rather front to back) in Western societies. In the Uk for example women many times are becoming very competitive with men, become harsher in their behaviour and want to show that they dont need man ('I can pay for my dinner' etc). Men on the other hand, faced with such competition and faced with lack of appreciation from women are becoming less confident, even afraid of women. This makes a big impact on their masculine ego, which in the long term can divert their sexual preference towards the same sex partner. Masculine ego for me is what testosteron does to man readiness to compete, focus on tasks and achieving success, taking pleasure from being praised by woman etc.
Of course I'm not saying that this happens always, but yes from my observation there is something about it and I would be curious to hear someone more informed about relation between feminism and loss of masculinity in men.Regards

Well, for a person who seeks the inner self, one becomes/feels disintegrated in the community given the condition of it. It is easy to give up hope, but one has to see the light in the darkness. Problem for the average person is that they accept society and norms as they are instead of taking it as abnormal. If one sees the society as the problem and not oneself it is easier to remain sane and rational, because it is easy to become either accepting of the chaos and indulge in it or fall aside depressed.
Sometimes I think that it would be easier for me to accept the norms and game rules of society and jump in and enjoy life and women and earn easy money from greedy methods, but God forbid and it is not really worth it because it does not make one happy anyway. I + want; is the opposite path towards happiness but only the one with a humble soul will last.
When one desires something, particularly beyond reach or has a long wearisome path towards it, this causes stress and in fact while getting what you want it will rarely make you happy. It is stressing and your character changes in pursuit for popularity and confirmation by other people if this is what you seek, which is generally why people buy luxury cars or as large villa as possible.
I have a case of a neighbor who built a second story on his house because he was jealous of the other neighbors and wanted to have the biggest house, but he possibly ran out of money because he never finished the interior.
Many people take a loan to buy a new Audi or other fancy car, buy on credit cards to buy things they have no need for, just to shine with status.
But many people do not realize how much they work to afford their vain life and that they actually do not live at all. Their desired possessions become their curse.
It is quite the paradox that with our technological advancements still do not have enough time for ourselves, but we spend less time which was natural for even my grandparents' generation. The hunt to please our egos takes its toll on us instead of simply be. Even over a 50 years period things have changed; people drive faster, walk faster, talk faster and when are people going to slow down?
Then people are sometimes wondering over all cardiovascular, diabetes diseases and cancer and where they all come from.
People live longer, but to what price? Lots of elders have dementia, Parkinson and many other chronic diseases.
There are some regions where elders often live past 100 and they often live in less technologically advanced countries with less sophisticated healthcare. And they are generally healthier in old age until death and only weakness and withering takes their life. Our average age of around 80 in the "Western world" still does not stand up with that despite advanced "miraculous" healthcare, and it has rampaging cases of chronic diseases with patients living for years with problems.
And what causes this? The lifestyle...

Title should be "Feminism is the problem in our society', Women are not the problem. Society is, and Society has chosen feminism as a social "virtue", one must ask, for such a progressive and modern virtue ,why is there so much vice in it? It feels like going backwards instead of forward. Anyway, interesting comments; not sure I agree but still interesting .
