Do you get what I am writing? Can you be resurrected when you never die?

The problem is that these 'evidence' are not good enough. They often have flaws. Near-death experience does not really prove anything about the afterlife. Afterlife is not anything we will ever be able to prove because it is not something 'physical'.

Well the 'evidences' are based on 'testimony'... thus purely 'subjective'.
It might not tell exactly what might happened but certainly it's an insight on what might not happened.. (e.g. meeting Muhammad, Jesus, Osiris, Munkar / Nakir, asked about what do you think about the Bible, Quran etc..)

And none of those 'testimony' sounds 'fishy' as in carrying certain agenda... (e.g. meeting Jesus, Muhammad asked about what you think about Quran/Bible/Egyptian Book Of The Dead etc..)

All we know so far is that once the brain stops functioning at brain death, consciousness fails to survive and ceases to exist.

Well based on the above 'testimony' it seems to be not the case..
Consciousness survive even after the death of the brain..
Thus it might also means, there's consciousness even before the brain is turned on...
Which put forward the question; how does the brain and consciousness really communicate with each others..

I find the "Blind woman could see" during her "near death experience" as the most interesting...

I think that atheists have a point when they say that the afterlife is exactly like it was before you were born and that this life could be considered an afterlife.

Interesting.. yes they do have a point..
This life is an afterlife of the previous life.
Thus the proper name should not be "Life after Death" but "Life after Life"..

Personally I believe in an afterlife as well as in a God. I just don't see any Abrahamic religion letalone any other religion to have that God and afterlife I believe in. Neither do I believe that by disbelieving in God you'll miss an afterlife. That's just stupid. Religious people are not superior nor inferior.

Certainly, and please remember the fact that Abraham never invented any religion.

As shown on the above, the believe or disbelieve in God or what do you think about certain figure or even a book doesn't really matter..

From my POV, religion always take advantage of 'human curiosity in after life' and came up with (ridiculous) explanation that suits the objective of certain parties... mostly the Priest / Cleric class or the King/Sultan.

Example (Ancient) Egyptian believe that they need a holy book ("Book Of The Dead&quot in order to survive from "Grave Torture" and gained a "happy afterlife" (in later evolution of such religion it's known as "Salvation&quot. The holy book can be bought from the priest for a fee...

It is not their belief in God that matters but rather that they do good for others and this applies to anybody.

        Definitely true...

Near-death experience does not really prove anything about the afterlife.

Almost same like my opinion in this. I think near death experience does not prove anything about the afterlife.

            near death death

near death = basically still alive

I do have faith that Who can put me in this world also can put me in whatever place He wants.

                Peace Man Of Faith.

Fine, I will refer you to Qoran which says GOD will summon us altogether on that day.

So of course there are those who do not believe and those who believe in meeting the Lord

                2521
Those who do not expect to meet us said, "If only the angels could come down to us, or we could see our Lord (we would then believe)!" Indeed, they have committed a gross arrogance, and have produced a gross blasphemy.

                2522
The day they see the angels, it will not be good news for the guilty; they will say, "Now, we are irreversibly confined."

                2523
We will look at all the works they have done, and render them null and void.

                2524
The dwellers of Paradise are far better on that day; they will hear better news.

Brother, it will be a difficult day for some. Let us hope and pray for GOD s mercy then

                2525
The heaven will break apart, into masses of clouds, and the angels will descend in multitudes.

                2526
All sovereignty on that day belongs to the Most Gracious. For the disbelievers, it will be a difficult day.

Looking forward to that day brother.I sincerely hope we both have some good news and meet in favourable conditions.

                GOD bless you.
                Peace.

Excuse me ? What do you mean by that?

Well if this "Allah" is really THE true creator, and not a deity from human imagination, then certainly He/It will have a "natural" connection or bond with all of things that He/It "create".

Thus no need to "believe" (read told/preached and believed on what was being told and preached) by some human and "relying" shall came "naturally"..

The connection or bond shall be more stronger than let''s say offspring and his/it's parent, living organism and oxygen, gravity and space, matter and anti-matter, body and consciousness.

Do we need to make a baby horse "believe" that it's mother exist?

And as the video of NDE above shows, the "NDE" phenomenon happened across the board, to those who believe and also not believe in "God". For all who has experienced such, their "NDE" has changed their outlook on life, many of them do not fear death anymore. Well many of them actually prefer to "stay dead" (living the life after this life) rather than to "live" again.

If you love your Creator, then I hope someday you will understand about it ("rely upon Allah&quot, inshaAllah.

I think we don't walk on the same path, Jafar, and I'm not sure if my words could increase your faith in Allah (if you have faith in Allah).

To be honest, I don't see you have respect for Allah.

Brother, we are discussing amicably. No worries.

I was reminding brother Man Of Faith about the day of resurrection, even though he says the Lord is with him now

The horn will be blown, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be struck unconscious, except those who will be spared by God. Then it will be blown another time, whereupon they will all rise up, looking.

                              Thanks brother.
                              GOD bless you.

And I was saying if you never die you cannot have a resurrection. It is a logical inconsistency since a living person is not resurrected as he is not dead.

I think the sectarian interpretation says "do not say about those who have died they are dead but they are alive but you do not perceive". Not that I form my knowledge from that, but since you seem to love the usual interpretation you can see at least for some people there is no resurrection according to it.

Another part has a quote in Quran "I wish my friends saw me now. TThe promise of the Rabb was true" as he had departed with his spirit.

Several parts of Quran speak as if there is no resurrection, at least not for the living, i.e. for those who found the spirit and hence never died.

I disagree with huge segments of text, but the above is taken from the usually accepted mainstream interpretation.

                                Salaam

Are you saying there will no resurrection for anyone. i.e no resurrection at all?

Qoran explains death and after death.

The question is no longer do I have a soul?I am a soul and I have a garment which is my body.

When I die just means when my body will no longer exist. Me the soul, will return to the Creator.

My Creator will then resurrects me in another "body". It does not mean I will be human again. The new body would be of a different form.

Just like my first creation was different and in another world/dimension,before I was made human to inhabit this earth, my next life will be in a new form and a new world/dimension. The Creator decides when and how.

                                        GOD bless you.
                                        Peace.

Well that is assuming the Qur'an is true. We will never be able to prove which religion holds the truth. One possibility that I keep taking into consideration is that all religions could be a complete lie. However it is up to us on what we believe. I find the id?a of one God/Allah to be logical. I find it hard to accept that we are all an cosmic accident. I don't have any evidence for God's existance which is why I believe. But then I could care less about religion and faith in general. Maybe an afterlife does not exist but should anybody care? I don't think anyone wants to have an infinite life. That said religion must not be given any more attention than it already has. I would rather want my country take part of NASA and explore space than to still waiste more millions of dollars on traditions and Christianity. To find others outside Earth is unlikely as we are not that technologically advanced yet and what we might likely to find are microorganisms (e.g bacteria) but who cares? It is still a huge discovery. NASA today lacks funds to do what they do because Christianity in the US is given billions of dollars for absolutely nothing. Unlike religion, science has contributed many things of value. Is it not time to start waisting those funds on science instead? Christianity is a complete joke. It is given millions of dollars because we are still too traditional and idiotic. I'm pretty sure that God would agree when I say that Christianity just like any religion is a complete waiste of time and funds.

Also one thing I would like to say is that whether God and an afterlife exists or not it is still important to do good for others. Maybe people die and disintegrate into energy while consciousness fails to survive and ceases to exist (we get wiped out for good basically), but the least thing one could do is to do good for the next generation to come. That is what I believe in.
