Yes, nobody is an exception. People are people, and people are complex. In one area we might be open minded and unbiased, while in another area we might be emotional and exhibit clouded judgement. This is the nature of the human being. We have that box over our shoulders, called the brain. The brain and the mind often carry us away.
If there is anyone or anything that has lied to us, it is our brain and mind! Our mind and brain is the greatest trickster in our lives, yet we take whatever it says for truth. We literally fool ourselves.They can't even question or don't bother to ask what they are being taught from childhood.
This is an extreme statement akin to "all black are like xyz", "muslims always xyz", "blue collar worker are xyz"
There is no "they" here. There is no such thing as "round earthers", just like there is no such thing as "flat earthers". Such terminology is used to create division, separation and conflict. The emotional mind, or devil perhaps, sows hatred and prejudice by using such generalizations.Second of all, just because something is being taught from childhood, doesn't make it false. It's only wrong if it remains unquestioned. Both old ideas as well as new ideas may be false. This is something we have to work out. We have to do our best to establish what makes sense and what doesn't, and we should not fall into a false dichotomy. Also, just because something is commonly accepted, it doesn't matter it is false. Is trigonometry false e.g.?
Say, you have a good post on this forum and that I agree with,then whats wrong to share that as my own view with my friend? If my friend is clever enough he may refute whats in the post and won't quarrel whether it is second handed or lousy or where it come from.
You're right. However, people may refute something, but this refutation not be accepted by other people, no matter it is true or not. People don't care too much about how true something is. People mostly care about feeling comfortable. The most horrible thing the mind can experience is a threat to itself, a threat to it's own identity, it's very being.
As far as flat vs round earth goes, one can put up a list of issues and then everyone can evaluate the flat explanation vs the round explanation. But this never happens. People talk parallel to each other. It's a two way monologue, not a dialogue. And this is usually can case when human being debate. Both sides are trying to win the battle, regardless of the truth of the matter. This is normal in politics and religion, and on a even more primitive way in sports. So, for those who are really serious about researching the flat vs round earth, they should list the different issues and then look into them one by one. Like e.g. "law of perspective". Things don't need to get complicated, so there's no need to bring up advanced topics that nobody understands, like black holes or whatever theories there are. Also, we should stick with what we can observe and use simple methods of making sense of things. Geometry and trigonometry is not complicated. But when we start off by involving NASA or UN logos, counting occult numbers etc, then we're not being serious. We should not start off by claiming everything is a lie (without being able to prove it) and then cherry pick what is true to fit one's point of view.
In the end, it's about being honest to oneself. People will always have different points of view on everything anyway.
It is also of utmost importance to rise above differences and work them out (even if there is no solution). Division is harmful.Peace and best wishes

Some general thoughtsI wonder what people would like to have instead of the things they call evil governments etc.
Would anarchy be better where it is really eat or be eaten?
What is the alternative to our current day's governments?
Forget a system based on quran alone or whatever. Will never happen, at least not under the name of religion.
So what do we want if we are so unhappy with taxes, birth certificates and the like? What should it be like?All those who look for pyramid shapes, number 33s, check patterns, single eyes etc and who feel that they are being enslaved and controlled by a covert ruling elite.... what would they want instead? Or are they happy to keep looking for the masonry symbols and just remain living in a distasteful sense of being ruled. What is the alternative? Does the human being have the capacity to create a good, fair, free and open system for themselves? No! There is no "they" who rule us. Even the rulers are human beings, no matter if they organize themselves in fraternities or secrets clubs. They are still human beings like all of us. It's just that they have been endowed with some talents in the field of speaking, analyzing, reading, influencing, planning, imagining etc, and they use it for their own benefit. Greed and lust for power in combination with talents and skills make people rise to power. But they are still people like us. Such ruling groups would prop up even in anarchy settings. The current situation is the most natural outcome, at the given place and time, in our world. It is our minds and personalities that make our world. There is no real "us and them". Some climb the ladder because they can.
Don't fall into the devilish trap of separation and division. Don't create more enemies and hostile situation in your mind. Don't create negativity. You are only poisoning yourself. All the evil of this world is here, nobody can deny it, but it is due the the human race. This is what we have to deal with. What we have to do is to rise above and better ourselves. Soon enough we'll die, and we'll only pay for our own deeds. So don't make illuminati-research a hobby of yours. What will you do about it? So if you recognize symbols and stuff. Then what? Now what? Why are we looking for checkered patterns and pyramid shapes?

Their real leader, the Creator has given them a set of instructions, a good system that will really unite them,save them,cleanses them and fills them with love,love for all the creation even those who oppose GOD s system and follow the world systems.

I just add to it that there is Satan and his minions Jinns and Humans who work hand in hand to hypnotise the world away from Allah,
their power is demonic, and only alignment with Quran and Allah can defeat the persistent and relentless brainwashing, psyops and poisoning figuratively and literally we are subjected to.
Satan lives, is not a fantasy, it likes us to believe it is, so we are less aware of what Allah has warned us about,
so yes, there are 2 ropes, one to Allah and one to this world, the latter is quoted in the NT as Caesar's that is correct, but both need to be catered for,
with for the Believer an eye on maintaining and nurturing the former, as it leads to eternal life as opposed to eternal torment.
Education and sharing good information is crucial in this struggle against evil for the sake of our salvation.

I don't know much about symbolism, to be honest, and I still don't have enough time to investigate about symbolism, perhaps it is important - or perhaps it is not - I don't really know.
But, what I think important is to spread the awareness that we actually do not really have true freedom under the governance, it seems not all people aware about that.
I don't mind at all to be God's slave, but not at all that I want to be the slave of other human.
However, it does not mean that I want to do aggression toward my government, or whatever something like that, but I hope that people aware that the Authority they should obey is actually their God.
In my opinion, spreading this awareness is better rather than just silent/mute about it.
