    Peace,

I am in alignment with most of what @Zulf and @good_logic wrote,

I just add to it that there is Satan and his minions Jinns and Humans who work hand in hand to hypnotise the world away from Allah,

their power is demonic, and only alignment with Quran and Allah can defeat the persistent and relentless brainwashing, psyops and poisoning figuratively and literally we are subjected to.

Satan lives, is not a fantasy, it likes us to believe it is, so we are less aware of what Allah has warned us about,

so yes, there are 2 ropes, one to Allah and one to this world, the latter is quoted in the NT as Caesar's that is correct, but both need to be catered for,

with for the Believer an eye on maintaining and nurturing the former, as it leads to eternal life as opposed to eternal torment.

Education and sharing good information is crucial in this struggle against evil for the sake of our salvation.

I don't know much about symbolism, to be honest, and I still don't have enough time to investigate about symbolism, perhaps it is important - or perhaps it is not - I don't really know.

But, what I think important is to spread the awareness that we actually do not really have true freedom under the governance, it seems not all people aware about that.

I don't mind at all to be God's slave, but not at all that I want to be the slave of other human.

However, it does not mean that I want to do aggression toward my government, or whatever something like that, but I hope that people aware that the Authority they should obey is actually their God.

In my opinion, spreading this awareness is better rather than just silent/mute about it.

there is Satan and his minions Jinns and Humans who work hand in hand to hypnotise the world away from Allah,

That's what I want the people to be aware of.

Hmm... perhaps you have another understanding about satan or about jinn?

                  Satan is a Jinn.

                  Jinns are non-human sentient entities.

Allah describes the Jinns very well in the Quran as such, only those whose hearts are sealed by pride or ignorance will refute such an obvious Quranic description.

In the sectarian delusion they are something other than the wordly type of humans.

Shaytaan is a word for an instinct or lust to do something that is triggered by the jinn or jannateh (body).

                      Salaam,

                      Back to the original topic.

Day before yesterday I take a shot of moon, here it is.
I am really wondering why and how I don't see the other half of the moon?

The Moon is a sphere which travels once around the Earth every 29 days. As it does so, it is illuminated from varying angles by the Sun. At New Moon, the Moon is between the Earth and Sun, so that the side of the Moon facing towards us receives no direct sunlight, and is only lit by dim sunlight reflected from the Earth. As it moves around the Earth, the side we can see gradually becomes more illuminated by direct sunlight.

After a week, the Moon is 90? away from the Sun in the sky and is half illuminated, what we call First Quarter because it is about a quarter of the way around the Earth.

A week after this, the Moon is 180? away from the Sun, so that Sun, Earth and Moon form a line. The Moon is fully illuminated by the Sun, so this is called Full Moon. The Earth's shadow points towards the Moon at this time, but usually the Moon passes above or below the shadow and no eclipse occurs.

A week later the Moon has moved another quarter of the way around the Earth, to the Third Quarter position. The Sun's light is now shining on the other half of the visible face of the Moon.

Finally, a week later, the Moon is back to its New Moon starting position. Usually it passes above or below the Sun, but occasionally it passes right in front of the Sun, and we get an eclipse of the Sun.

The Moon's phases are NOT caused by the shadow of the Earth falling on the Moon. In fact the shadow of the Earth only falls on the Moon twice a year when there is a lunar eclipse.

The tidally locked moon once was a clear sign/miracle to many of Gods creation. Reflected in the many islamic nations carrying a crescent moon in their flags.

I am afraid that will get lost on Flat Earthers and their new recruits (

linked to what you said, the pre-Islam Arabs worshipped the Moon as the Moon God, they also worshipped the Sirius Star system (brightest star in the Arabian night sky), in Arabic Al Shi3ra, Allah said in Chapter 53 49 He was its Lord, so they cease worshipping it.

I think there is a remnant residual idolatry in many "Islamic" countries choosing a Crescent and Star for their flag emblems.

Certainly there are pagan roots to the crescent moon symbol. But I do believe the moon was one of the major natural signs that confirmed Quran. I know it was to me.

It is said that the Crescent and Star symbol, which was popular in the late Roman Empire (Byzantine) as well, was used by the pre-Islamic Turk tribes, who then became leaders in the Muslim world, and used it extensively as their symbol.

The moon and star seemed to indicate a favorable astrological symbol which represented a good omen of increase and success.

The symbol of the Crescent moon has often meant "increase" or "impending increase", even in India, and was known around the ancient world to have this symbolic meaning. The ancient way of thinking was often very poetic and symbolic, where every little thing was almost superstitiously viewed as having additional meanings or omens or mental implications, as compared to the modern compartmentalized view of things where "sh*t happens" and has no meaning.

What is most puzzling about the moon to me is it is firmly locked with the earth. Always showing one side to the earth. The mathematics to achieve such a tidally locked orbit are very delicate. In my mind there is no chance the moon has been locked into such orbit by coincidence.

I like what you posted FreedomStands. Let's have the best of both worlds, why don't we? We don't need to be superstitious neither ignorant.

I always liked as a kid when I had to sleep and was afraid of the dark I could keep the light on.

                                          Peace
