Shaytan and anger

Experienced it. Yes, it probably happened because of shaytan's influence, but again, we can't escape it either. I am usually interested in carrying on the conversation and what I have seen members wish to do the same. But here is something we have to understand about the mainstream Muslims, this idea of following Quran only is bizarre to them because they don't see many doing it around them. They are brought up to believe that their way is the only right way. If you show them the false from it they feel sick inside, for it goes against the reality they built for themselves using traditionalists' Islamic lessons. The end result is cognitive dissonance. This is what both of our uncles showed through anger. They wish to hold onto their belief by using anger at us. Its their way of throwing away the conflicting idea. You would find many doing this. Sometimes we may feel the same esp when an ayat starts going against our belief. Its true for all of us.

There is no solid fact for that, however, if God tells us that He doesn't like those who don't repress their anger, doesn't it mean indirectly that God is warning us against shaytan? We also know shaytan misguides those who are not guided by God (or did I misunderstand this part?)...this leads me further to think, e.g my uncles case (he's a sunni and follows hadith blindly, unfortunately), that since he is on the wrong path, then shaytan has a strong grip on the angry person.

the conclusion is, since he, or any other person for that matter, can't discuss peacefully, and try to invoke fear (shaytan's way of making people follow is path?), I shouldn't take his word or even discuss with him about religion.

Yeah, it seems you've got it a bit wrong.

Often the term Shaitan is used by people to refer to Iblis. Iblis is a jinn according to the mainstream interpretations of the Qur'an. The jinn are creatures made out of fire (plasma) rather than mud (carbon based material), they are limited beings with no special powers or knowledge, they are physical beings you can see with your own eyes or a heat vision camera. They were created or evolved before the human beings according to the Qur'an.

Iblis was disappointed it seems that his race was not made the special Viceroys of Earth even though they were the elder race, and were asked to submit to the human beings, so instead he sought to prove the human beings were faulty and evil.

Iblis is considered an enemy to the human beings, and is just one of many enemies out of the human and jinn races. These enemies are all Shaitans.

Since Iblis is a limited being with limited scope, he can not go and whisper into everyone's ear in the whole world, but instead seems to work on massive programs and political incentives by manipulating powerful people and establishing organizations and having agents working in the Satanic cause.

These Satanic agents then promote widespread news and propaganda and try to further corrupt the already corrupt (a good person just naturally isn't even inclined to that stuff for the most part and the Satanic stuff only really harms the bad people).

When a person is angry, that is their own anger, but it may be in the nature of a Satan who was arrogant and angry and fell into despair, and Pharoah was arrogant and angry, and others.

They are not under any grip of Shaitan though in any literal sense. The Qur'an says clearly that Satan and the jinn have no power over people

Jinn sometimes come to people and whisper to them or talk to them, attempting to befriend them, and many times these are misleaders who actually have no special knowledge.

They do have certain advantageous abilities though due to their being of a different form, and have been used as spies for the most part since they can seep into a room and remain relatively well hidden and observe and report back, they also have been used to carry items or hide them and to search for treasures or things like that but most people have not befriended jinn and most jinn keep to themselves or their own communities.

Satan's technique is generally the same

Make people vulnerable and exposed, either literally or figuratively naked (or both), then to mock their forms or make them feel there is some deficiency in them and that they are in an inferior state, once he has made them naked and then attacked their self esteem, he then offers them the "cure" or the "solution" for the problem he has convinced them that they have, and that solution is generally to do something that will lead them to harm or into error or to disobey God either immediately or eventually. He generally tries to lead people to shirk since that is the worst, but will settle for simply poisoning people or harming them. God set up the incident with the "tree" which demonstrated to humankind the same trick Satan and Satanic type people use to this day.

Make a person exposed and vulnerable, naked.
Insult what they have exposed or tell them they have a problem of some kind.
Offer the solution to the problem they have said the person has.
The "cure" is actually a poison intended to harm the person either immediately or eventually.

Satan's simple trick is in operation widespread to this day.

Yet Satan is not to be feared, just to be exposed and understood.

The one to fear is God. The word "Satan" generally means "adversary" or "enemy" and is used generally at times in the Semitic languages. There is no greater potential enemy though than God if one is going to be on the wrong side of God or God intends harm, therefor God is in that sense the Greatest and only Powerful Satan (as in Enemy).

The Qur'an clearly places all the responsibility on God for all evil, all disaster, all misfortune, all mood, all misleading, all the continuation of corruption, the ultimate invention of everything that exists either as a possibility or a thought or a reality.

Therefore God is the Supreme, the one to be feared, because "All is from God", down to your daily activities, and who or what you encounter, to the activities of Iblis and all evildoers, to what moods you might suddenly feel or whatever you might experience in the slightest. This is because God is the Ultimate Reality in which we exist, and controls every element of our experience, which is just "information". God is "haunting" every aspect of our life, and can change anything and disrupt anything, there is no solid footing or safety from God, and all this is in the Qur'an as well, which is a book meant to confirm the reality which can be observed and understood simply by looking at life and pondering the nature of things.

When you fear God, you'll fear nothing else, you'll only fear God who is responsible for everything.

That is why Satan and his votaries are a bit of a joke to one whose knowledge is firm (one purified by the grace of God). Why? Because we worship the greatest Devil of them all, who even Satan is a slave of and fears.

So when your boss is the ultimate monster, you have no fear of any monsters who are all under the absolute command and control of God. None of us, and none of them, can even WILL to do anything except as God makes us will, according to the Qur'an.

Who is the Master of all Magic? God is the Lord of Sorcery, there is no Magic but God's power.

God can alter reality in an instant, and can make one think it was always that way, or make one think it was never that way, all of it is information which can be manipulated easily.

God is the Master of Sihr (Illusion, Sorcery), and whereas other magicians just dangle things and try to trick people, God can transform reality and we are always just made to believe whatever God intends us to believer and we can not "know" except what God says.

As a final note, God is imageless, not made of information, while everything else in existence from your thoughts to "physics" and whatever else are made of "information".

God is more akin to "Death" or even more so, total Annihilation, which is the lack of any information whatsoever, not being made of anything at all and so unlike anything at all, in the image of Absolute Nothing, having no image or form or limitations. God can not be imagined because there is nothing to imagine, anything imagined is "information" and all "information" is created by God.

Death is "skipped" just like a dreamless sleep, since when there is no information being received, we are entirely skipped to when information is received.

Subhan means "Void", "Nothing". When we say SubhanAllah, it is often translated as "Free from everything (they ascribe) is Allah" but it really means "Void is Allah" or "Allah is (like) Nothing".

Allah in essential form is not made of information and so is Void, like nothing, not even pure blackness like the vacuum of space we perceive, not even pure whiteness like a wall of "light" one might imagine, both of those are "visual information", Nothing can never be imagined or perceived, the only way to comprehend it is how Musa was shown, the Mountain was annhilated and atomized into nothing, and Musa fell unconcious and lost all his senses, experiencing nothing as we experience during the dreamless sleep, so why "death" is compared with "sleep", and when the dead person wakes up when information starts being received again they have not perceived time but think they have only just fallen asleep for a little while.

Allah is also Chaos in both its definitions. The old definition of Chaos is "Void" while the newer meaning people come to associate with it is random stuff, and in the case of Allah it is deliberate but uncontrolled, Allah is the "Free Will" that operates freely and without restraints, so totally free to do whatever, absolutely "random" in that sense, except there is no statistical law controlling Allah, there is no "probability" really, it is only Allah doing whatever Allah wills freely.

So what the kaffirs say about us can be taken as true in an ironic way

All things does my Sustainer embrace within His knowledge; will you not, then, keep this in mind?
And why should I fear anything that you worship side by side with Him, seeing that you are not afraid of ascribing divinity to other powers beside God without His ever having bestowed upon you from on high any warrant therefor? then, which of the two parties has a better right to feel secure -if you happen to know ?
Those who have attained to faith, and who have not obscured their faith by wrongdoing-it is they who shall be secure, since it is they who have found the right path!"
And this was Our argument which We vouchsafed unto Abraham against his people We do raise by degrees whom We will. Verily, thy Sustainer is wise, all-knowing.
