What is essential in order to enter paradise?

If we take a really technical and logical stance with your question. The word "essential" is in there.
A person can give tons of charity, be kind to the orphans, blah blah blah, but if they don't believe in God, the Qur'an has said that all their deeds will be made null and void. That means the belief in, and moreover fear of God is the essential component (belief in God IS the FEAR of God. If you do not fear God, you simply do not really believe or "know" what God is or what God is capable of, so not knowing God, are unable to truly be a believer in God, thus the Fear of God is believing and knowing God, and the most fearful of God is the most righteous).

That is why I am seen using the terminology I am often using, including ideas like "the haunting" and God's terrible freedom to do anything at all.
People satisfy themselves with imagining God is bound up, God's "hand is fettered" by love, by justice, by any number of things, when God is the Lord of Hell, the Master of Evil, the Misguider, the Maddening one, the one who can take a persons hand and make them slit their own wrists or neck. Those who aren't afraid, simply have no comprehension of God, it is even more senseless than not being afraid of hungry sharks while swimming naked in the ocean.

No problem! With the fear of Allah, comes all the rest, and none can fear Allah except those Allah has chosen to make afraid. Those who are afraid of Allah will flee from sin and sincerely worship and do everything they can do to be as good as possible. Thus, those who fear Allah, are those who do good, and those who fear Allah and do good, are said to be the ones who enter paradise.
On the other hand, those who do not fear Allah, are those who do evil freely since they are not afraid of the fire or Allah who they don't know or understand really, and they are said to be the ones who enter the fire, a horrible punishment, and then they will be afraid, but it will be too late, so they will be miserable.
The word Jahannam, is said to mean "The Rift of Wailing/Lamentations", the Ja or Ge part is said to mean "Valley, Rift, Pit, Deep Crevice" and Hinnom means "wailing/lamentations/screaming in agony" which I suppose might be what is heard from it, along with perhaps the roaring fire.
Jannah seems to mean "The hidden garden" or "the secure/concealed garden".

I understand that it is not the right definition using the translation system you are working on currently.
It is the mainstream etymology though for Ge, Hinnom, and Jannah, according to the mainstream etymologists and academics using their current system.
In that system, the root jnn is in Jannah, and jnn is meant to mean "hidden, concealed" according to them. For those who thus understood the words in that way, it would bring to their mind the idea perhaps of a secure, shaded oasis that is hidden also from the sight by being in the future or whatever. That is why people like the Assassins are said to have created a false version of the garden based on what people understood of the term and made it an enclosed garden where they supposedly convinced people they were in paradise based on how they understood the concept at the time.
So it is just usually that I am talking about the mainstream Qur'anic translations, and mainstream etymologies that are accepted generally by the academics and stuff, until your system becomes the more recognized one, then I can mention that as well, and you might have your real name attached to it or something so I can say "In the translation system of ______ the term means such and such".
Right now though, I'm talking about just the mainstream stuff so that people can actually find materials more easily that verify it.

You should study the meaning of Pagan in a decent English dictionary and you see its connotation is a person who has love for physical items. Gentile was a word with slightly derogatory word by the "Jews" to refer to anyone who was not like them (i.e. no image for god, no love of material, no idols) and refers to that the "Gentile" likes the "outer layer" here on Earth because they are void of comprehension. Gentile more than likely is the word Jannat with IL (to be) attached to the word. It follows the same structure as my personal spirit name given by my father "Eman - ueel".

But paradise is not really "paradise" because to them it is Gehennom, i.e. you are bound to the flesh. The successful "abstainers" will be their rulers, much like what Jesus says in the Biblical Gospels.

It is not my "translation system". The definitions are well-defined in existing lexicons. It is just that the scholars are deluded and think they know something while they do not. It is not arrogant of me to say, it is just the plain truth. What I just spoke above is VERY WELL DEFINED if one studies lexicons of old. It is not rocket science that Gehennom also uses the same root as Janan.
And ancient Gnostics argued basically the same thing as me. Jesus in the Biblical Gospels teach a similar thing, i.e. the Kingdom is at hand, it is right here. The Quran if someone can interpret it properly speaks of the same thing. I am not alone. Who do you follow? Prophets or ignorant scholars?

It is not arrogant of me to say, it is just the plain truth. What I just spoke above is VERY WELL DEFINED if one studies lexicons of old. It is not rocket science that Gehennom also uses the same root as Janan.
And ancient Gnostics argued basically the same thing as me. Jesus in the Biblical Gospels teach a similar thing, i.e. the Kingdom is at hand, it is right here. The Quran if someone can interpret it properly speaks of the same thing. I am not alone. Who do you follow? Prophets or ignorant scholars?

The word being translated as "Gentile" is a different word in Hebrew. That word is "Goy" and the plural is "Goyim" and those words mean "Nations" "Peoples" and stuff like that, according to the modern etymologies. Gentile is not a word from the Semitic language families so the jnn or gnn root which is Semitic is not considered by the modern academics to apply to non Semitic words which have a different system.
According to them, it would be like taking the word "Gentle" and saying it has Semitic origins so "gen" in "gentle" has the Semitic root of "gnn" when it is not even from that language family. The modern academics would consider that proposal ridiculous though, and shun the mixing of language families that are thought to not have anything in common and can not be studied that way.

And I was not referring to nations or people but I was referring to when people say one is worldly then jinn can be used as a derogatory word and "Gentile" is just that. Gentile refers basically to a person who is worldly like a lost sheep who does not know where they really are.
Gant that is believed to be the root of Gentile is actually borrowed from Aramaic and the Semitic family for Jannat, referring to the body for something. Hebrew as a language is an invented religious language by a deluded people while Aramaic is the real language.
Obviously it is lost knowledge over the millennia. But this is how it is.
