I am so glad you found this forum! People are seeing the truth everyday. The key with Hadith is to look at them as history, with the same critical mind we give to historical accounts, rather than viewing it as unalterable, perfect stories. Just the differences between Sunni and Shia hadith should tell you that there are political motivations afoot here in telling the history of Islam.
I am terribly sorry to hear about the horrible treatment you have received. Just know that what people have done, they have done out of ignorance. Many people have been miseducated on purpose in our world to benefit a small cadre of elites. The most powerful weapon is knowledge, just keep learning and discussing, but keep yourself safe please!
I hope your family and friends are eventually able to come to terms with your position on Hadith. I also hope you are able to find new friends here in this forum. Insha'Allah you will find people welcoming, courteous, and respectful.

Welcome to the forum.Can you give us some insight into the current situation in Egypt? Also what scope, if any, there is for Islamic reform there?

They situation in Egypt is really bad on every level, normal people can get really angry if you talked about their beliefs in a different way especially if you touched any major topic like the prayer or being tortured in grave..
The officials and the government don't really support any new opinions, they put anyone who says anything different in jail, Azhar controls this matter and it is stated in the constitution that Azhar is the religious authority..
The situation here can't be worse in my opinion so I applied for migration..
Yeah I know that website and those people but still they are few and most of them don't live in Egypt and to be honest I disagree with them on many topics, they don't really follow Qur'an only they just reject hadith but they don't mind doing rituals that weren't mentioned in Qur'an

I am sorry to hear about your situation but insha'Allah, it will get better. We all have our struggles in life. Even Abraham endured this struggle with his father and the people. I hope you are able to overcome this challenge.
Having been to Egypt to stay with my brother who worked in Alex, I found people generally lovely, but rather dogmatic. I found them quite critical and would often find myself being censured by random men for not wearing an "hijab". I can't imagine how it must be for someone like you who is of a similar persuasion and vocal about it.

I honestly wish there could be some sort of revolution in egypt and that damn government overthrown.
However that would at the same time leave a power vacuum and there is no point in celebrating a change, without knowing if that change'll be better or worse.
Many evil corrupt people would try and fill that power vacuum. -\I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

Thanks Comrox but I don't think that they will fully accept me, what really bother me more than my situation is seeing my loved ones going in very dangerous direction and throwing their afterlife because of prejudice and stubbornness

I always thought that Sisi was going to become a good leader after Morsi but then he decided to ruin it by arresting journalists, attacking his own critics, releasing dictators who killed protestors, not establishing freedom of speech, while allowing Saudi-Arabia to influence his country even more which results in non-Sunni Muslims (especially Qur'anists) as well as non-Muslims being oppressed. Honestly I don't see any difference between Sisi and Morsi. Sisi has only brought Egypt back to square one again. Most importantly Sisi fails to prevent sexual assault in Egypt. Even his security 'forces' (more like idiots and thugs/criminals) are sexual assaulting others.
As some have pointed out, Egypt has a lot of woman harassers. When I was in Egypt (it was before and after Morsi was forced to resign) I noticed how some Egyptian men (even armed security forces) were looking at tourist women who weren't wearing hijabs as if they have never seen a woman before. This made me miss Syria infinite amount of times because Syria was the only Arab country (although I admit I haven't visited all Arab countries yet) where I wouldn't see stupid things like this. Egypt needs to deal with its woman harassers. It's a disgrace that things like this exists

Well Sisi is garbage.. And with the Western support I don't think he is going anywhere. Any pro-Israel dictator is considered a 'moderate' dictator regardless of their atrocities and because of Western politicians who are apologists, some dictators can get away with their crimes including jailing journalists who criticise the regime.
My intentions was not to bash Egyptians letalone Egypt. I know that the majority are really good people and that you can't judge an entire people based on some individuals. My Palestinian friend who works as a dentist there almost no longer identify herself as a Palestinian anymore but rather as a Egyptian. I love the pyramids too. My point is that Egypt has a lot of problems to deal with and those that are failing to improve it are clearly its idiotic leaders. Sisi pretends to be an anti-Islamist when his regime is helping Saudi-Arabia in bombing Yemen just to kill Shias while he lives more on Saudi welfare. Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed told Sisi once that he was no ATM machine.
These woman-harassing morons started to show up when the Muslim brotherhood took control of Egypt who told women who got raped to 'blame themselves'. Good thing the Muslim brotherhood was kicked out of Egypt, now it is time for Sisi to be kicked out too and every perpetrator of Taharush must be given death-sentence (and they are). No mercy for such uncivilized animals.
