obviously you can read it in early history, where else, becoz question was how to follow a traditional way of fasting, so i represent the example of traditionl history what all traditional muslims beleive, and according to that it was on december.i dnt feel any need to write an essay on it, when somebody really want to to know truth its Allah who is best guider and best writer , the book of essay in the shape of quran is already in hand,, read it and research it and then for details of dates and events its come to history department ,the essay of qurn is teach you religious things, but if you want details you can use science, archealogy, history, math, any tool that can help it , from different sources, you may get results. inshallah.
like the event of joseph , when Allah told us it was the reason to told us see its truth of joseph what he suffered how he control his powers(inner weakness) due to the obedience of God. purpose was to tell you about religious essay,of guarding private parts. yeh but if anybody need to find the dates , god did not mention it , not even the date of any event , now there other sources come but its your choice if you think this tool works well then beleive it,, for example tecnology is telling us about civilisation that are 5000 to 20000 years old, how they know it, there is a platform behind it, we need to understand their strategy of getting results. history science anything is not a subject of quran, go through all quran you will find instructions and religious order. and then sometimes we encounter things regarding science, history prophecies , and as we know its from God and it cant be false so when somebody verify these things under their trusted tools we find it accurate or compatible with quran.

and i m not laughing on ur results my brother, i was laughing how come you come to conclusion very quickly , some things are difficult to find out, like every question of math is not same some are difficult some are easy, the difficult one we usually take help from guides, frds, students, books to understand. apply same science on this issue as we know the beauty of quran is , it never talk with exact dates regarding anything,, i dnt remember when quran describe anything God mention any calenderical dates,, and thats what make it more perfect for universal scripture,,

Not in Arabia or the northern hemisphere no, but in the southern hemisphere December is midsummer. Who gets to decide? North or South?

you ask me about the verse, it is in Quran read it, and you know where to find it, do not say you dont know. If you really do not know than you should read more Quran. It is in surah 2189.
They ask thee concerning the new moons. Say they are but signs to mark fixed periods of time in (the affairs of) men and for pilgrimage. It is no virtue if ye enter your houses from the back; it is virtue if ye fear Allah. Enter houses through the proper doors and fear Allah that ye may prosper.

now a question from you .. can you let me know, who told you to interpret the word ramzan as hot...
is this word used in quran throught whenever quran was giving reference about hot things... i dnt think so quran words we will take as hide and seek ,, or quran talks in puzzles,, why did not use the proper word of hot instead of ramadhan..

Do not forget that you may be wrong, you should behave as a student and try to learn. What else can this verse mean than what i understood, please tell me. What does ramadan means according to you? Why don't you just show me from Quran that you are right and that there is no discussion possible after your research?

i have read perf 558 and nowhere i read that shahr means lunar cycle, maybe i am wrong, correct me if i am. Do you have a full research or essay about ramadan?

The crescent moon i already showed you the verse, about ramadan i am not sure, but you are trying to win from me a discussion and i am muslim for 6 months and you are a muslim whole your life, and you call me weak, while you are the one who is weak and do not show the whole story according you. Why i think winter is not the time of ramadan is
- This could have not been changed, even if the hadith books came and tried to change this. All Muslims would see the deception and they would reject hadith books.
- In the summer the people did have a lot of vegetables and fruits and after fasting they would have much vitamins and good food, in winter they would have less and mostly they would eat meat. The Quran is for the whole world and not only for Saudi Arabia and the summer is always a time of harvesting and winter is not.
- Fasting is a way to clean the body of toxic matters and in winter there would be less time to get the toxic out, in summer with the long days the body has enough time to get toxic matter out of the body.
I know for some people fasting in summer is very difficult so they try to twist words and make their own ramadan.
