THE IGNORANCE OF:
-
Peace
They say amin after praying because they have faith it will be realized, much like 'may it be so'.
To what I know Ameem means " so be it". So if you prayed " Yours is power and glory forever and ever" then, it seems to be okay to say "so be it". But, if you are asking for mercy, how can you say " so be it". As long as you say it in your language, it seems to be okay, but the majority of people who say it do not even know where it comes from or what it means.
What is wrong in actually contemplating while being at a place you feel spiritual enrichment?
Maybe there is nothing wrong, or maybe there is, depends on how you are looking at it. if you really want spiritual enrichment, go read the word of God, and contemplate more of His creation. Because that temple you admire so much could not have been built over the foundation of the fear of God, and it is more deserving of being demolished than of admiring it.
May God increase our knowledge and give us wisdom.

THE IGNORANCE OF
1?POINTING WITH FINGER WHILE PRAYING
The perverted believe that pointing with the finger while praying keeps Satan away. They have clearly invented a lie about God, because God does not commands to do that while praying, and also is clear Association. The only issue is to decide who has the power of God, who is the protector, the finger, or the owner of the finger.7200 And if it should happen that a prompting from Satan stirs thee up," seek refuge with God behold, He is all-hearing, allknowing.
2397 And say ?My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the whispers of the devils.?
2398 ?And I seek refuge with you Lord that they should come near.?
1698 NOW whenever thou happen to read this Qur'an, seek refuge with God from Satan, the
Accursed. (1699) Behold, he has no power over those who have attained to faith and in their Sustainer place their trust (16100) he has power only over those who are willing to follow
Him, and who ascribe to him a share in God's divinity.
1983ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose The Satans upon those who deny the truth that impel them with strong impulsion?
-------------------Only God can keep Satan away.-------------2?SAYING AMEEN TO END PRAYER
When I hear muslims say ameen at the end of prayer/invocation, it remind me so much to the pagan Catholics. Where did they get the idea to say ameen at the end of prayer? The only example I have found in the Quran of how to properly end prayer is from the people of paradise.
109 verily, as for those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds - their Sustainer guides them aright by means of their faith. running waters will flow at their feet in a garden of bliss;
(1010) their invocation in it, "Glory to you God!", and their greeting in it, "Peace !", And the end of their invocation, "the praise to God, Lord of the worlds!"
Since whatever is done in paradise is the best; then, that end of invocation seems to be the best one to use as the end of prayer.3?SAYING PEACE TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT.
Perverted muslims claim that in prayer people have to say peace to the angels taking the account of our actions left and right. Now, they are not just inventing a lie about God, because this is not commanded by God to do in prayer, but even if believers were commanded to do that, this perverted muslims would be still doing it wrong.
5016 NOW, VERILY, We have created man, and We know what she(it) whispers to him, his soul; for We are closer to him than his neck-vein. (5017) when he receives the two receivers sitting on the right and on the left, (501 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present.
82 10And verily, over you as vigilantes (11) honorable scribes, (12) they know what you are doing!
1311 to him custodians who clearly assist/ handle/ influence him, and from behind him they preserve him by command God ?
See, if a believer had to say peace to the angels around him/her, he/she would have to say peace left, right, and rear. This would be too much turning.5?SERMON AFTER PRAYER IN THE MOSQUE
In God?s Houses of prayer the only words heard shall be the words of prayer, or the words of the recitation of His book, if this is understood as worshiping Him. Who gave the right to these so called Imams to use the holy houses to speak their own words, contaminating the houses, and the minds of the believers? Where did they get the idea that the houses of prayer, which shall be dedicated exclusively to the worship of the Most Merciful, can be used as a place to speak their own minds? If somebody wants to give a sermon to the people, he/she shall do it outside the House of prayer. These perverted ones have even built pulpits inside the houses of prayer so to raise themselves above the crowd, as if the ones speaking from there were worth more than the rest of the believers.
629 O YOU who have attained to faith! When the call to prayer is sounded on the day of congregation, hasten to the remembrance of God, and leave all worldly commerce this is for your own good, if you but knew it. (6210) And when the prayer is ended, disperse freely on earth and seek to obtain of God's bounty; but remember God often, so that you might attain to a happy state!
931 They have taken their scholars and their priest ? for their lords beside God, although they had been bidden to worship none but the One God?In verse 6210 God is being very clear in His command. He does not want people to remain in the houses of worship after prayer. Only people praying, or maybe reciting or listening to a recitation of the Quran, if this is understood as a way of worshiping God, shall be inside the House of prayer. Believing brothers, do not listen to those arrogant men that dare to raise their voice in the house of prayer as if they were God. Save yourselves from committing shirk by listening to them.
1781 And say "The truth has now come , and falsehood has withered away for, behold, all falsehood is bound to wither away!"
May God increase our knowledge and give us wisdom.
Selam very nice topic
- The pointing of the finger i never did know why they do it, now i know, thanks to you.
- Ameen can be also from egyptian kings, i have read so
- Subhanake Allahume i start my prayer, than i say Selamun and i end my prayer with Alhamdulilah Rabbil Alemin, just as the verse says and i think this the correct way.
- Surah 2177 also tells us not to look at the east and west and i have seen this in prayers. I do not know if it is about praying, but it can refer to it. More important is surah 3440 And on the day when He will gather them all together, He will say Unto the angels Did these worship you?
- That is why i do not go to the mosque
-
ameen/amen is amen-ra an egyptian sun deity aka a jinn. thus by saying ameen your committing a shirk.
most muslims are unware of this. they're Invoking another name besides Allah. also with azan.
Islam is 100% infiltrated.7218 The mosques belong to Allah; you shall not invoke anyone else besides Allah
-
Amen is a common word in Arabic and other Semitic family languages and obviously has its meaning. It is fully okay to use it if you know what it means.
-
Actually it is written in Quran, many times.
One form is "amen b'Allah'.
-
provide the surah and the ayah
ONE of many examples
Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 177
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing.
(English - Yusuf Ali)via iQuran
I hope you see in the Arabic text. The word occurs in many many forms throughout the Quran and means to have confidence/faith in something. In case you say it after you have prayed it signifies that you put faith in what you just prayed and are certain by the matter of Allah it will come true. Like I wrote previously, it is a common word in the Arabic language and if you speak the language it would be natural to use it, obviously.
Just because an ancient god of Egypt happened to be called Ammun that does not necessarily void the Semitic root A mi nun from being used which is a legitimate standard word of the language. Think wisely, friend.
Be well
Amenuel -
217712-13 translates mana bil-lahi (believes in Allah)
ameen/amen/amin/amon/ammon/amun same sh!t. it shouldn't be used. My comment still stands. And what is your sound argument against its usage seeing it is common in the Semitic languages as an everyday word?
-
But it is in Quran -)
is the word you are looking for and it can be used to say amen or amiin.

I first need to apologize to be blunt on this post..
The true ignorance are those who make a fuss over petty stuff which doesn't matter.
Such as, but not limited to- Face direction on praying
- What to say on praying (and insisting that everyone should say or not to say the same thing)
- Pointing fingers or not, how...
- Where should we hold our hand during prayer..
etc.. etc..
Again I apologize for being blunt, but I do understand how such mentality are being developed, it's due to the 'social environment'..
Becoming 'non sectarian' requires a drastic change of mindset.. a different set of outlook.
Don't apply the same mindset but with different / alternative idea.. especially on things which doesn't matter.
