i have another understanding regarding this... verse... but again its just understanding God knows best..
actually in the start of bgbang when the earth was young... it was full of land mass... just land everywhere.. after a passage of time God sent down water in it.. or scietist thinks its asteriods that hit the surface with water in it... from there the life start generating..
so with respect to this understanding we can say God reduce the edges of land.. it quite understandable...

I get what you're saying. You're pretty much saying what I have been saying throughout, it is water level rising being described.
The only issue I have personally with your understanding is the association with Allah by mentioning Big Bang and asteroid bringing water.
Allah conveys rain pouring down from the sky not an icy rock.
Also Big Bang is not scientific. Explosions build things?
In my God given reasoning explosions tend to destroy, deconstruct matter not build or assemble matter.

The correct model and understanding is that the earth is sandwiched between waters above and below.
If you read Quran earnestly and abandoned every bias, the story of Noah and the waters meeting from above and below for a matter predestined would resonate with this.As for why do I feel that you are all misguided I have already conveyed in reply #10.
If you are adamantly denying the apparent Signs of Allah which include the earth and the truth in which He created it and the luminaries and everything else, and you are denying the truth about His creation solely on human knowledge then you are akin to all the disbelievers of old who rejoiced in what they earned and what they thought they reached in knowledge like Aad and Thamud. Their knowledge did not avail them and neither it will avail you if you do not stand firm.
You are also not supporting all the believers who are standing firm on Quran and causing division, instead of supporting the believers you side with the deceiving disbelievers that claim Big Bang, evolution, dinosaurs, and heliocentric model.

Ok, but I truly believe that in the near future (if we live long enough), we (=ordinary people) can afford a space flight.
So I was wondering if you will still believe in the quran when you can see with your own eyes that the earth spherical. -

what i present is my understanding whether water comes from asteeriods or rain ,,, it dosent matter but accoridng to quran and accoridng to science water was not there in the start of planetary system of young earth..
i just wonder just tell me when u see earth with your own eyes and what possible answers you have for that time, instead of thinking about shape you should be optimistic about the reasoning what you will provide after watching earth with your own eyes...
at that time you have not much options ...
option number 1 .. eyes get trick and from so far distance flat shape looks like round
option number 2.. i dnt beleive in my eyes i beleive quran is saying earth is like a carpet spread so literally its mean plain...
option number 3 ... 2+2=4 but i still not beleive becoz quran is saying 2+2=5 ....i think option first is bit logical to carry on the next episode of flat earth if you can be able to see with your own eyes

did God will wait for the sun to finish its energy for bringing judgement day...
did you not see everyday the millions things get destroyed and millions things get birth . when purpose fullfilled the law change the shape ,
leaves fell from tree get yellow and get disolve in ground , then water give a new life again to land... birth of stars and death of stars supernova... eveaporation of water from land... consumption of wood etc etc... this universe actually lost nothing things changed the shape according to law...
all this stuff is a principal law for running this universe designned by God...
so do we assume the same law for hereafter or all this must have to reprogrammed with some next level technologies what we have no knowledge of yet...

Salam HP_Tech. I agree with you. Unfortunately there are more of them than those who truly strive to uphold the Quran. So we can expect more lies than truth BUT for those who hold fast to the Lord, clarity and the truth is here in the Quran and all falsehood shall perish.

and all the time i come up with baseless claims and interestingly they always avoid questions? some of these questions are here
what bring seasons changing to earth?
why we cannot experience the sudden dark and sudden light in sun set and sunrise, cant b possible in flat earth?
what shape is the sun and other planets of solar system?
does light travel in a straight line?
what is "vanishing point" do you mean the sun moves away from an observer VERTICALLY or HORIZONTALLY or something else? In other words, what motion does the sun have in your view? ponder about this question..
how do you explain regions such as iceland and many other where you can experience months of permanently visible sun, and months of permanently non-visible sun?
all these questions and many more things i ask from experts of flat earthers but one by one everybody run away i dnt know why...? &
some of them become my enemies and even they make fake ids specially to take piss with me rotfl i still dnt understand i think its something like a war or what...
