The true purpose is 'to be'. Gain independence within "God" rather than a mindless slave by Being One. The only way to that is by pursuing spirituality (the Spirit seed of your Nafs in order to grow) and rejecting the bodily.

Like Shakespeare said "To be or not to be is the question". Strengthen your being, tell yourself to do be confident (amenuwa). Strive hard to be cognizant of who you are. If you grow that awareness then you will also feel your origin and not only merely believe and it only takes finding yourself. If you find yourself you will also find your origin and then you will be a part of it. That is to be reborn while you are born, the only way to escape (salvation) is to be born twice in a lifetime, and only the witted will understand what I am writing. And that is because your body is a host to a seed of another origin, but it takes cultivating the seed and soundly take care of it and not be deluded this world is something for you or that the afterlife has any resemblance to this.

There was once a wise man who said that this seed is like a mustard seed, the smallest of seeds yet it becomes the most amazing tree. One has to understand that parable in order to understand its meaning. But since I was determined to put it black on white for once in history, it refers to that the spirit if undeveloped is minuscule like almost non-existent, but if it is soundly tended then the spirit will see no boundaries. Most Nafs's are like seeds who land on the ground but never grow because they choke due to weeds like thistles and the weeds choke the meager little seed and its cultivation so that it never expands. In the parable, the bodily (what is in the world) is the weeds and other obstacles and have always been in this parable, but I tell you now. Those hamper the spirit from development and will keep the seed like the minuscule seed it is and it will fade away eventually in lack of development and because the seed is degraded in time. The same soil will host several cycles "of other plants" (the useless plants which do not more than hamper the development of the seed) during the degradation. Life itself is a parable and is clear from who takes pleasure from it all and the bodies were made for evaluation and sifting and so the final delivery is delayed so to allow everyone that will bear fruit and so does not the one whose quality is absent in the produce (extract taken from Quran - the real interpretation of).

      Be well
      Amenuel

My humble understanding of the Quran says that Life is a short distraction to see who will follow the way of God... i.e Reconize the Unity of God and do good in life while putting your trust in God alone, ask forgiveness (because you might sin), repent, enjoy what you've been given in this life (even if it's a short distraction), be thankful etc...

This though doesn't seem very pretty, or "spiritual"... just bunch of to-do's...but I believe It is the way to gaining spiritual growth. Because spiritual growth isn't gained by knowledge or philosophy or reading all sort of texts or arguing over lexicons. It is gained by commitment and patience and remembrance of God.

Thus, you allow God's light in your Heart.

P.S Hansolo, if you read this, please understand that gaining spiritual growth won't happen by watching youtube videos or reading all sort of crap around the internet. At the end of the day, you still face your devils and I'm sure you do, and that is the true challenge of life. Do not fool yourself and think you can "obtain" spiritual growth the way you obtain "knowledge".

An English translation of the Quran - 2255 God, there is no god except He, the Living, the Sustainer. No slumber or sleep overtakes Him; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who will intercede with Him except with His permission? He knows their present and their future, and they do not have any of His knowledge except for what He wishes. His Throne encompasses all of the heavens and the earth and it is easy for Him to preserve them. He is the Most High, the Great.

We should not enjoy what we have been given in this world. It has been given to us as a deceptive trial and the one who can abstain is strong-minded.

The water you shower with, the cold wind touching your skin, the sky, the smell of fresh air, the peacefulness of the morning and night, the safety, the sanity, the knowledge, the physical abilities, a good talk with a loved one, tasty food in a warm room...

I do enjoy these things. Many enjoyable things, if enjoyed without considering God, may lead to deception.

Though, We still enjoy what is naturally enjoyable. Always in the context of the life test.

832 Say "Who has made forbidden the nice things that GOD has brought forth for His servants and the good provisions?" Say "They are meant for those who believe during this worldly life, and they will be exclusive for them on the Day of Resurrection." It is such that We explain the revelations for those who know.

It is not about forbidden, but it is a matter of what is recommended to do.

It is just that what is natural is the deception in this world.

3185 Every human being is bound to taste death but only on the Day of Resurrection will you be requited in full - whereupon he that shall be drawn away from the fire and brought into paradise will indeed have gained a triumph for the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment of self-delusion/self-deception

One is easily bound to the wordly things. But one has to remind himself. That is the remembrance of God. Though we still enjoy what we've been given to enjoy.

                        This is what I said
One is easily bound to the wordly things. But one has to remind himself. That is the remembrance of God. Though we still enjoy what we've been given to enjoy.

One is easily bound to the wordly things Temptation, Devil, Ego, Difficulty to control. Lack of gratitude. Wanting more.

But one has to remind himself That is the key to facing such states. The multiple Salat we make. Those small moments you look at something and remember God. Giving away of what you have. etc. All those moments of stepping outside of the box.
2153 O you who believe, seek help through patience and through the contact prayer, God is with the patient ones.

That is the Remembrance of God Indeed. That is how you grow spiritually. Gradually.

Though we still enjoy what we've been given to enjoy Taking in consideration all the above. That is from God. And that is all in the context of the life test.

Now which part suggests what you suggest ?

                              we aren't slaves, but servants.

                              One important difference between these two words is that slaves have no choice while servants do have a choice, which goes in line with this verse;

2256 There is no compulsion in the system; the proper way has been
clarified from the wrong way. Whoever rejects evil, and believes
in God, indeed he has taken grasp of the strongest hold that will
never break. God is Hearer, Knower.

                              Salam

slaves and servants are synonyms for the perception of wordly understandings..

whereas i m talking beyond the imagination... we still cannot understand what word should we use ..

1 slave is a person who work for his master ... forcefully/ helplessly/ optionless
2 servant is a person who work for his master for the sake of money
3 employee is a person who sale his services to his master

the concept of option 1 is finished as we know its an evil practise never encouraged by lord...(for humans )

but if you wish to go against your lord and do things which God dnt like (then ready for the punishment he declared for the wicked people) in that sense you can also say we may are slave of God laws.. you must be a slave to law that you never commit murder/illegal sex/robbery/rape/invasion but God is not interferring you while you are doing it .. but the results of your doings will definately brought forward to you by your lord... on other words you are slave to do good for your own good...

the other two options are still availiable... but all this language wrestling we apply to world and systems of man made...

on other words you cannot limit your understanding in the worldy way with man made grammer and point out mistakes and misunderstandings like most of the times our fellow brother MOF do it with the gymnastics of words....

and lastly for my point of view slave servant worshiper are all closing understanding to the role what our God gives us..
and also we can use successor/khalifa

but again even we are king off the planet or go beyond the planet and God let you control the galaxies .. still your role is the person/individual/successor/slave/service provider/manager under the dominon of God.. which is your real boss/king
now what is the dominion you and angels /malik and anybody have really no idea what is the nature of the creator .. your and my mind is not programmed in a way to grasp it..

                                peace...

One can be thankful without enjoying. But of course it depends on whether one perceives the world as a gift or not. I consider it being offered as a gift to be a trial. I try to be restricted in how much I accept it and I focus on immaterial elevation.

on other words you cannot limit your understanding in the worldy way with man made grammer and point out mistakes and misunderstandings like most of the times our fellow brother MOF do it with the gymnastics of words....

Again you opinion, I move within the boundaries of available definitions in ancient lexicons and it would appear to be sensible logic that one word does not have two utterly conflicting definitions that are true except to one who is gullible.

but you always choose the wrong defination lol just kidding sometimes it may work but we need to make sure one thing always

any lexcion or anything in the world cannot tell the real nature of something which is beyond the perception of human mind...

example is the nature of God..

Lexicons can show how a language was used in the past. It is a collection of a corpus of the language. It cannot tell what is written in Quran unless there are extracts from it, and even if it has they can be wrong. It is a constant search for whatever definition is most plausible given a context.

Quran does reveal the nature of "God" in a way of metaphorical language since it is very esoteric. One parable (which I have not linguistically verified) says "God" is like a lamp shining in the darkness. There are multiple parables about the nature of "God". And that is taken from a sectarian interpretation of it. I cannot comment any other interpretation here since an need to respect this sect.
