    Peace,

    What do you think?

I know that Muslims and Allah and I guess Islam would want peace. However....there are verses of violence.
Truth be told, only Allah knows why those were revealed, and what the true context was. We must use our fitrah. Let no blindness overcome. Allah is never unfair. Whenever I ponder why somethings are so cruel, I remind myself this, Allah could never be cruel.

If there is injustice one must struggle and fight it. When you are thrown out of your country by force you have a right and a duty to oppose oppression. There is anaya which says that oppression is worse than murder.

We are frequently told about Jesus saying something about givin the other cheek, that is fair and good, for uone person, but how many cheeks do we have? not endless cheeks, and if we are not just ourselves, but our eople, weaker beings, we do have a duty to protect them.

Boastful hristians who pound on Qur'an because of the nice pasage of the other cheek on the other hand have never refrained from invading and destroying... sofar so bad... and even still do it.

Why be hyocritical to the fact that violence exists and that it is not violence itself tht is wrong but its wrongful use. A surgeon uses violence but it is for a saving purpose.

In such situations as oppression is there, the persecuted should think about their capacity to resist and how best to use it. And violence proportionate to the situation is legitimate in as far as it goes to save the wronged. Further than that is not legitimate.

      Salaam

          Did you read this site?
          http//misconceptions-about-islam.com

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

actually author of quran is very intelligent ..

things on theory and practical are always found to b different from eachother..

our life is a continous game of unexpected outcomes in which human mind sometime take quick decisions
all our decisions are based on selfprotection/selfishness

in case suddenly a situation comes infront of me where i have to take life for saving a life..
that case keeping in mind will best describle you the verses of violence..

violence/destruction is a part of universe from starting to ending..
author told you how to deal with violence its pretty normal i think so..

How about reading the Quran and studying it first, before asking asinine questions?

If you don't have anything helpful to say why are you replying? I come to free minds because I feel muslims here are open minded and willing to help and listen to problems and doubts other muslims like myself face, so I don't know why you're trying to prove me wrong.

Because I study people and I sense either dishonesty from you or complete lack of reason and lack of willingness to read and study.

I sound harsh but my wish, if you are sincere, is for your progress.

Would you rather me think that you honestly are asking whether God Creator and Originator of ALL existence truly advocates for peace among nations?

I wonder if I'm really supposed to believe you're truly sitting at home concerned with the idea whether God's Words advocate for peace among nations?

                  Is God not All-Kind, All-Merciful, All-Benevolent, All-Loving?

Furthermore, your question lacks depth and context.

Peace between which nations, all nations, Muslim nations? What kind of setting are you envisioning?

Everything depends on context my friend. Expand your question and understanding

I have seen some of your comments. You sound like a guy who would likely punish people for thinking. Just like secterian shia and sunni. You also think you know it all. You should be banned. Quranism can't turn into a dogmatic ideology.

And I have seen many of yours and you, like many sound like you're not yet firm in the Scripture, yet you want to make assertions about the unseen.
You take offense at my sternness in admonishing those who say "we believe"?
                      Why is that farati?

I only do that which we are all commanded perhaps you dont know but Allah says 3104
"And let there be among you people inviting to the good enjoining the right, and forbidding from the wrong, and those - they (are) the successful ones."

I forbid from the wrong and enjoin on the right as did these people to the companions of the sabbath, and even when some like you questioned them
                      7163-164
And ask them about the town which was situated (by) the sea, when they transgressed in the (matter of) Sabbath, when came to them their fish (on the) day (of) their Sabbath visibly and (on the) day not they had Sabbath (they did) not come to them. Thus We test them because they were defiantly disobeying.
And when said a community among them, "Why (do) you preach a people, (whom) Allah (is going to) destroy them or punish them (with) a punishment severe?" They said, "To be absolved before your Lord and that they may become righteous."

You should beware. I don't identify with any ism. Submission is my only ism and my Lord's Words I follow.
With what reasoning and under which authority do you oppose me?
