Does the Quran promote peace between nations?

If there is injustice one must struggle and fight it. When you are thrown out of your country by force you have a right and a duty to oppose oppression. There is anaya which says that oppression is worse than murder.
We are frequently told about Jesus saying something about givin the other cheek, that is fair and good, for uone person, but how many cheeks do we have? not endless cheeks, and if we are not just ourselves, but our eople, weaker beings, we do have a duty to protect them.
Boastful hristians who pound on Qur'an because of the nice pasage of the other cheek on the other hand have never refrained from invading and destroying... sofar so bad... and even still do it.
Why be hyocritical to the fact that violence exists and that it is not violence itself tht is wrong but its wrongful use. A surgeon uses violence but it is for a saving purpose.
In such situations as oppression is there, the persecuted should think about their capacity to resist and how best to use it. And violence proportionate to the situation is legitimate in as far as it goes to save the wronged. Further than that is not legitimate.

actually author of quran is very intelligent ..
things on theory and practical are always found to b different from eachother..
our life is a continous game of unexpected outcomes in which human mind sometime take quick decisions
all our decisions are based on selfprotection/selfishnessin case suddenly a situation comes infront of me where i have to take life for saving a life..
that case keeping in mind will best describle you the verses of violence..violence/destruction is a part of universe from starting to ending..
