According to me, from what I clearly see and reason out of what is available in Science of our universe, they are facts.Measuring distances has long been established

The universe is the product of consciousness, all is thought, you have consciousness which is fractal in nature, this allows a shared perceptual reality, as only a single consciousness exists, there is a simple dichotomy of everything (thought) in opposition to absolute pure nothingness, and just as with most dichotomies it is asymmetrical, just like blackness underpins light, and silence underpins sound, nothingness underpins thought.
