    Peace Mahdi.
Why do you want a verse from Qoran to mention the meat of pigs if it is talking about the food of the people of the book?
Food for the people of the book means "NO MEAT OF THE PIG".

Leviticus 117-8 7And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. 8You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.

Deuteronomy 148 8The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.

    Isaiah 652-4 2All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations- 3a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick; 4who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;

Or do I misunderstand what you are asking?
    GOD bless you.
    Peace.

Allah does not mention about pork was made haram for the Jews

WE MADE HARAM FOR THE JEWS every animal with an undivided hoof, and in respect of cattle and sheep, We made their fat haram for them, except what is attached to their backs or guts or mixed up with bone. That is how We repaid them for their insolence ... (6146)
      and said

And WE CERTAINLY SPEAK THE TRUTH (not the Torah/Bible). (6146)

Therefore, pork is halal for the Jews

Inconsistently, the Jews said pork is haram for them

And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you. Leviticus 117-8 ESV

And the pig, because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud, is unclean for you. Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. Deuteronomy 148 ESV

      of course

And WE CERTAINLY SPEAK THE TRUTH (not the Torah/Bible, ie. pork is haram). (6146)

      AND Allah said

The FOOD OF THOSE GIVEN THE BOOK ("nothing mentioned about pork&quot is halal for you ... ... (55)

Pork is halal, since nothing mentioned about pork was made haram for the Jews.

and there are discrepancies in the following translation

      https//scontent.fkul7-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/31218584_2090517307831516_4558380402319206920_n.jpg?_nc_cat=109&_nc_ht=scontent.fkul7-1.fna&oh=6f41b12b91c8d227bf4707416b1b42e5&oe=5CBC7556

      additionally...

Dead animal is haram, make sense.
      Blood is haram, make sense.
Maggoty stinking meat is haram, make sense.

      This is haram?

      https//renfroesmarket.com/media/catalog/product/f/o/four-boneless-pork-steak-112-p.jpg

      Doesn't make sense.

It is inconsistent with dead animal and blood.

Why don't they research the (interpretation and translation of the) Quran? Don't they realize that if it(s interpretation and translation) was from someone other than Allah/TRUTH (falsehood), they would find many discrepancies in it. (482)

Accordingly, where in the Quran pork was made haram for the Jews?

      What verse?

      Show me...

        Peace Mahdi.
That verse is talking about ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO WHAT WAS ALREADY STATED IN THE LAW.-Because of their insolense.

The meat of pork was already forbidden before then.

You could also state-Kullu Al Taham Kana Hillen LiBani Israeel ...Illa Ma Harrama Israeel Ala Nafseehi....- All food was lawful to Beni Israeel except what Israeel forbade themselves- and say why no pork is mentioned here.
Look at the context of the verses brother.
        GOD bless you.
        Peace.

          Accordingly, that's what I'm saying

Allah forget to mention about "Pork"

was made haram for the Jews.

          "according to the Conventional Muslim"

and inconsistently made the following order

The FOOD (pork) OF THOSE GIVEN THE BOOK is also halal for you ... anyone who rejects iman (in halal foods, ie. pork), his actions will COME TO NOTHING and in the Next World he will be among the LOSERS. (55)

Making the Qur'an say pork is or is not halal does not make pork any better for human consumption. That is the point and what the Qur'an says. You do not die if you eat it, but it is not a good diet, and particularly, where pork enters and people are poor it becomes overwhelming in the diet.

Some people may like the taste but it is still not a good animal for human consumption.

            Salaam

            Salaam

              Slm Mahdi Ibrahim,

your post is so shocking... &

what is the name of a pig , pork and swine in old-arabic ( quran-arabic) than ?

cause my whole life i was searching for the reason why pigs were not aloud... i could imagine the warm-weather what make/made this meat weak so its harms the body so thats why not aloud..... or an pig dont chew his cud , this means whole cud is not digest and stored as fat in the stomach ... ect ect ...

people who sporting on high level dont eat pork ==> pork meat is unhealthy
even in petfood like dog and cats there is no pork meat .... ??

but what you summed up from the Quran makes also sense

              i am so confused ....

                That's not the issue...

The issue is whether Allah made pork haram for the Jews, BECAUSE

The FOOD (pork) OF THOSE GIVEN THE BOOK is also halal for you ... anyone who rejects iman (in halal foods, ie. pork), his actions will COME TO NOTHING and in the Next World he will be among the LOSERS. (55)

                AND it is shirk

Say ´Produce your hadither / jurists / witnesses to testify that Allah made this (pork) haram.´ If they do testify, DO NOT I'TIQAD WITH THEM and DO NOT FOLLOW the whims and desires of people who deny Our SIGNS, and who do not have iman in the Next World and MAKE OTHERS EQUAL TO THEIR LORD (SHIRK). Slm ,

                  i found these

                  Surah Al-Baqara, 173

                  Surahal-Ma'idah 3

                  Surahal-Ma'idah 60

                  al-An`am 145

                  an-Nahl 115

so if i re-read this only Surahal-Ma'idah 60 its talking about the animal swine .... the rest is rotten meat ??

if i check islamawakend.com non of the translator says rotten meat , but all talking about pig/swine flesh !!!!!

no worry, it is Christian doctrine in Islam...

and it is acted like pig/etc..

muhkamat (fact/logical/cause and effect) and mutasyaabihat (opinion/illogical/delusional)..

                    What's "SEEN/CONSIDERED" AS

                    • The monkey sees, monkey do leadership principle; and accordingly..

There are so many "acted like" pigs and monkeys.. Planet of The Apes.

                        Already covered
                        https//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9599591.msg234462#msg234462

The basic conclusion was IF you ignore the form the word is in and Quranic grammar, then yes, you can interpret it the way you imply.

                        Quote from tanveermd
According to qur'aanic grammar, in the phrases "lahma khinzeerin" or "lahma alkhinzeeri", "khinzeer" CANNOT be an adjective but can only be a noun. This has been discussed numerous times on this forum in the past. Please use the search feature for the relevant threads.

A short explanation is as follows

For "khinzeer" to be an adjective the phrase has to have "AL" before both words or if "AL" is not before both words then both words have to have the same ending of "an" or "un".

                        For example

                        "lahmun khinzeerun" or "al-lahma al-khinzeer".

The phrases in al-qur'aan are as follows

                        "lahma khinzeerin" (6145), and "lahma/lahmu alkhinzeeri" (2173, 53, 16115).

Thus "khinzeer" in those phrases CANNOT be an adjective, and can only mean "pig".

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

It is not conclusive because the rule of the grammar ignores "natural sign", logic, cause and effect, consistency, fallacies etc and

Why don't they research the (interpretation and translation of the) Quran? Don't they realize that if it(s interpretation and translation) was from someone other than Allah/TRUTH (falsehood), they would find many discrepancies in it. (482)

                          e.g.

Dead animal is haram, make sense.
                          Blood is haram, make sense.
Maggoty stinking meat is haram, make sense.

                          This is haram?

                          https//renfroesmarket.com/media/catalog/product/f/o/four-boneless-pork-steak-112-p.jpg

                          Doesn't make sense.

It is inconsistent with dead animal and blood.

Do you believe in part of the Book and disbelieve in another part of it? (285)

                          https//scontent.fkul1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/41552581_2198230923726820_4447633703832649728_n.jpg?_nc_cat=105&_nc_ht=scontent.fkul1-1.fna&oh=59a53aa2c0f3dde9d372008c204344f3&oe=5CCE7557

                          not grammar alone.

wrong interpretation methodology = wrong conclusion.

                              Peace Mahdi.
Additional items means pork was already not halal before that.
According to your logic blood should also be halal since it is not mentioned like meat of pork?
You are making a simple mistake of ignoring context.
Or GOD has also forgotten to say blood?
For me flesh of pork is also forbidden, makes sense.

Brother, you have a one eyed methodology. Just like Rashad Khalifa had. The Qur'an cant be understood by using pure logic. Iblees also used pure logic. Stop it.

Irrelevant, because it is with proofs and evidences...

Say, "This is my "Islam". "My Islam" is with proofs and evidences! I, as well as those who follow me, call you towards Allah/TRUTH (ie. call you towards proofs and evidences)". (1210

The Sunnatullah/Way of Allah/Nature is ALWAYS LOGICAL in EVERYTHING IT DOES... Pure Logic, The Law of Cause and Effect. The enemy of the Sunnatullah/Way of Allah/Nature/Logic is Iblees.

                                        Peace Mahdi.
Dead animals is not blood. I do not know what you mean?
                                        They are two different things.
Read in context 6145 and 6146.... GOD is saying for the Jews, because of their insolence, more was forbidden for them.
Qpran then listed the things that were forbidden for the Jews but halal for the believers . Qoran did not list the common forbidden items of both in 6146.
Proof, the list of 6146 are not forbidden in Qoran . Or do you say the fat of sheep and cattle are forbidden?

You also will have a problem with "the meat of animals dedicated to other than God." it is not mentioned in 6146 according to the logic you are following with 6146.

                                        GOD bless you.
                                        Peace.
