    Peace all

Animals of someone else?. Still I am laughing ? lol?.. is it your weakness to grasp the impact of the flood or you are convinced as local flood without permitting your mind for the option of worldwide deluge by perceiving it many vistas? whatever it is .. let me explain you a point of JUDI HAVING ANIMALS and not Noah?s?
Water came gush forth from the earth? that?s a very key point note pls? whatever the Judi is be it a mountain or a land?. The ship of Noah has to travel to Judi to land there?. Judi must be a place safe to land void of depth water? since the ship was propelled towards Judi the final destination, then Judi also must have been under water and all animals must have died? Now God orders once Ship reaches to a point where it needs to be landed, ? Earth to swallow it?s water? Why? Coz earth gushes water extraordinarily ?. And then to Sky to hold the water?. Now hope matter comes to end.. how? Ship was on the surface of water and water from sky ceased? and the earth stopped gushing water.. Now when the sources of filling the earth with water is rooted out? so water will slowly reduce?. In normal flood water will look for the sea by passing through rivers to make the flood level go down if not the water will hang around for days and evaporates and dry off.. but here order was to the earth was to swallow / suck the water? Sea can?t help in this case, coz it is fully flooded entire earth? Sea level also would have definitely risen since the water passed beyond high mountains? these two words are key only appears once ib'la = swallowaqli = withhold 1144
So in Judi ship was slowly going down? not as ship cast away to a shore after tsunami or great flood? But This ship is fully loaded and most wanted groups are boarded in and they need to land safe?. And not caste away to a shore? This sucking of water by earth really helps for the ship to come down towards the earth peacefully? and also at the start gushing forth of water from earth also was a great assistance for the ship to go forward as a propeller?
So when they landed in Judi, can we expect animals or any living thing on the place of Judi unless it is a creature living in water or water+earth?.. Just explore it with much more angle rather than simply say to one of the greatest of Signs for alamin from God to nothing?
    God guide us...

if it where world wide , this should mean all living creatures above the water will be dead ( even all humans) and this is not backed up by the Quran.... it has to be local ... my thought is like the movie Evan almighty .. local flood..

btw do we know how many days they were floating ???

Do you think Allah was so wicked and unjust to punish the whole inhabitants of the earth for the transgression of Nuh's people? This alone is sufficient to conclude that the flood was local or regional. How would you collect the billions of species of creatures in pairs to be carried on board the ark? Even if the ark of Nuh was the size the largest aircraft carrier existing today it would still be a highly improbable feat. I suppose one can argue that there was a very advanced technologies which enable Nuh to accomplish his seemed impossible task. The story of the flood could be both literal and or metaphor.

2213 ? Mankind were one community(ummah), and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed therewith the Scripture with the truth that it might judge between mankind concerning that wherein they differed. And only those unto whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it, after clear proofs had come unto them, through hatred one of another. And Allah by His Will guided those who believe unto the truth of that concerning which they differed. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path.?
If not the people of Nuh were one community/nation I cannot trace any other community which could be called as one community?..Quran proves we were one community?Noah?s community is the perfect example for that? when there was one community only the prophets and glad tidings /warnings and books were revealed and not before that ? the time before that is not actually a community in the light of quran but just adams children and immediate families i.e. blood related families? Noah is different? a Community/nation .. people in the ship were the only people of the earth and they all were believers and whoever destroyed (majority) were disbelievers?
          Almarhom?s question?

Do you think Allah was so wicked and unjust to punish the whole inhabitants of the earth for the transgression of Nuh's people?

Allah is never ever wicked? He is the most just and no one is equal to His justice? If God destroyed all inhabitants then He knows the reason why?.. we can?t ask why He does? (my extreme personal opinion, with this great deluge only the earth formed its oceans and rivers and even continents and separated and islands formed? just my conjecture? no one need to respond to this..coz no proof)
Be it destroying one animal or millions or whole world all same to me?.
Do you know how many people died in just one Tsuanmi which took place in 2004 in the Indian ocean? 100s of thousands? how many animals and fish? dead animals and fish were everywhere scattered? Does it look wicked? If you look at it in an angle it will look wicked to destroy His own creations..
If the transgression of Nuh?s community is the only reason for Allah to destroy then He could have devastated people of Nuh by dispatching Nuh and the believers to another place ? but not the innocent animals need to suffer? even if it is local or regional? the dead animals will be immeasurable?aren?t ants inhabitants of this earth?
Even if you think that was local or regional ? still One day (doomsday) God has well informed that He will destroy everything what He created except what He wills? When the mountains get powdered, can you imagine how many of the creatures will die. when the earth quacks, do you get how many skyscrapers will fall tumbled? you can imagine the end of the world, how big a scenario that could be? Will not it look wicked? That would for those who think allah is wicked and evil? No? He is the Creator and Destroyer.. We are just creations and no point of asking why He does all these with us? He does it with purpose..
You have not read the topic threads I guess.. I wont blame? coz that?s what I said billions of species were not around during the period of Noah? Only what Noah had was what was around him? those are the only creatures of the earth? other than what is living in sea (if sea was there) and probably in the sky? Nuh took them as advised.. very few.. very few again I say.. All those creatures we see now is spread after the great deluge? like God spread the one community into as many we can see now in different colors and languages spread and cultures spread all crooks and corners.. and all discrepancies formed by human? same the animals ? God created them .. and few of those with noah were spread as human spread on earth.. rest God created anew and keep creating.. The word dispersed is key....

            Peace everyone...

These two sites recommended by my cousin? so I read still got to read..
            https//www.ancient-origins.net/human-origins-religions/startling-similarity-between-hindu-flood-legend-manu-and-biblical-020318
            https//creation.com/how-did-the-waters-of-noahs-flood-drain
How come Genesis and Veda claim that Nuuh and Manuh flood is worldwide? I don?t agree with everything what genesis say, but only what go inline with quran? same veda? when we pronounce the Manuh it is always M looks silent..
Does quran also say the same thing or local flood? why evidences of quran is much towards the worldwide flood when looked at it in wide angle..
This is the basic in the Indian root languages
Manu (Sanskrit &#2369 is a term found with various meanings in Hinduism. In early texts, it refers to the archetypal man, or to the first man (progenitor of humanity). The Sanskrit term for 'human', (IAST mnava) means 'of Manu' or 'children of Manu'.

**Why cant we think of the the possibilities of the flood to be far beyond a local or regional one..
**what makes those to believe that the flood was local, what is the incontrovertible evidence from quran to buttress that to strictly stick to that opinion....? May i get one simple verse to your claim?
            God guide us...

              Peace all..
              ?. offtopic
Nevertheless connected with destruction? since this topic is all about Noah?s community which involves destruction which is the major scenario? while I was researching , I was wondering how God destroy/ed the Jinn for their violations and for being disbelievers of Prophets ?..
In fact Jinn are part and parcel of this very earth and in hereafter they will abide in Janna and will at the same time be filled in Jahanna? No difference to human in sharing the both?
We not only don't have the capacity in our vision to see them but also we don?t see any of their traces.. where they are living, their constructions, their cultivation?.the dead bodies..lol.. or rather skeleton ? why all these are mystery?..
Are they part of destruction when there is destruction, for example Tsunami? but they can fly till they reach to the extreme point ?.. or only limited ones can fly? is there any clue dear members? Or can anyone open a new topic if you have any idea about it based on quran or with your researches probably in order for us to learn something new?.tbh I have no idea? can?t even guess..?
If God is just ? then there should be some kind of frequent destructions for them as we human experience from God?s End?Or that part as well invisible in our eyes still being in the same earth.. There is no escape for Jinn on the earth or flight? that?s okay when the doomsday falls? but for now??? Why we are deprived the vision of being able to see them while they have been permitted to see us?Yeah the mischievous(satan) among them have to deceive us.. So reasonable.. Or else hell fire is adequate for them? Or the destruction of human being is a great sign and a lesson for believers and that privilege is not furnished to jinn.. are human prioritized than jinn?

May God guide us and send us in right path throughout our life..

we have civilisation more than 10000 years old in history.
its pointed towards local flood instead of global.

although noah history is PRE-history may b more than 10000 yrs
our earliest ancestors dated back to 3 hundred thousand years roughly.

intresting thing to note first life cell 4 billion years ago.( as per science)
we are just sharing the planet not so long compare to the history of planet.

some people also think seperation of planets is due to noah flood but it was in early stages of young planet earth.thats theory is weak.

infact flood was more local than global according to traces we have in our earth.

Honestly I have no clue why you presented these verses when I requested supporting verses for local flood...
Any how the second point.. Dead sea... If you call dead sea is lowest point instead of the area other than sea then got to think many times before accepting you... Coz Mariana near Philippines is the lowest point of sea... Land wise according to Quran somewhere in middle east... But need research... Probably Lots place...

Further in my understanding those interlocked waterbodies or inland seas or lakes are consequences of great flood and many of them are formed near allegedly called place of Noah's ark landing... Example Caspian sea. Black Sea Ural sea, even the great lakes of Iran Nanak lake or urmila lake even dead sea... These are inland vast major water bodies .... Outxome of the flood... Who knows... God only knows what's right... But in my understanding of Quran to one can claim it was local... But no one can 100% confirm it was worldwide but evidences and the verses are much glaring... Needs counter argument.....

Don't get carried away again with my answers.. I am only giving my understanding. ..so relax...
Non of your claim has any Quranic proof... All assumptions... Main reason I opened this thread to get Quranic evidences to support the claim of local or worldwide... And further to denote the meaning and common sense ... If anyone accrue all Noah related verses and make a summary... Can he or she say that it is local, thats impossible...
So pls research may be you can unearth lots of truth....
I don't say you only says it is local. .almost all says in this forum who commented except few private messages... But Those claimed disn't give a support... But simply says what is in their mind... That's not the way you guys argue in this forum in other topics... So why simply say local... Why not drag the evidences... If no evidence then why claim?

I do t say I am convinced as worldwide but local cannot be accepted.. Unless I see a reason to do so

Yes it is very important, there is a big difference between two of Noah's animals
and two of every mammal on the planet, I hope pr you can see the difference.
Understanding the difference will give you the proper context of the event!

Honestly I have no clue why you presented these verses when I requested supporting verses for local flood...

peace, why difficult to understand simple verse?
who was he sent to and who is being punished?

711 indeed we sent we of noah of to folk his that warns folk your from before that bringeth them punishment dire

No need to be sorry, I enjoy your feedback.

Yes it is very important, there is a big difference between two of Noah's animals
and two of every mammal on the planet, I hope pr you can see the difference.
Understanding the difference will give you the proper context of the event!

                                peace

                                Okay.. Thank you... handshake

So for you to decide local what are those animals by name pls?

You mean to say by presenting the above verse that the community of Noah local and there were other contemporary communities in the world .... Proof pls... God destroyed Noah's community... It's fine... Needless to say it's worldwide when there is only one community...
If they were a local community, did God give any clue that community Judi welcomed them if they were believers... If they were believers and a community then NOAH doesn't need to bring cattle of two kind.. One kind enough.. That community is not far and they must be having cattle too..
Or all the contemporary communities were believers and didn't deny their respective prophets so they are not destroyed.. Impossible... If any community before or during Noah's time were existing it would have been mentioned... Coz it is very clear the history of communities and nations... Noah is the utmost and after that many generations came and then community like ad, Thamud etc etc then Ibrahim... After Noah the possibilities multiple community is acceptable .. But not during or before... No proof..
Quran doesn't support for local flood
                                  Let's seek guidance collectively
