'S J D ' with clarity - indeed not Prostration

Falling prostrate ,weeping is an instinct in all believers . Don t you think that acknowledgement to GOD s words of truth comes in physical form as well?
Somewhere in our journey of submitting to the creator comes reverence of a big scale and connecting to GOD is both physical and mental/spiritual/in works...Strange how prostration in awe of GOD s Aayats always leads to eyes overflowing with emotion In prostration, weeping
These are some of the prophets whom God blessed. They were chosen from among the descendants of Adam, and the descendants of those whom we carried with Noah, and the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom we guided and selected. When the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they fall Sujada/ prostrate, weeping.
أُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ أَنعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيهِم مِنَ النَّبِيّـۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءادَمَ وَمِمَّن حَمَلنا مَعَ نوحٍ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبرٰهيمَ وَإِسرٰءيلَ وَمِمَّن هَدَينا وَاجتَبَينا إِذا تُتلىٰ عَلَيهِم ءايٰتُ الرَّحمٰنِ خَرّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّاLike I said I also agree with some of your take on SJD in other verses with different contexts..

As I stated earlier Kharra verses I have clarified... It seems you have not grasped my explanation or you understood my explanation but not in a position to get why it can't be physical... Well.. I was in a conundrum why it can't be physical but up until God's clarification reached me...
So my lovely brother it has to reach to you from Allah to get it right.. Until then keep reflecting.. You know GL I have a best friend.. Such a wonderful human being... We have real debate about physical prostration... He is utterly convinced SJD is physically prostrating and he keeps reiterating to me to physically prostrate.. He follows Quran alone... But God's path is clear in Quran.. Trust me.. It will reach to all believers if they seek truly... Guidance of Allah won't come all at once but gradually... Wasn't there a time I could even think of calling SJD not physical... Well.. In front of Allahs path we leave falsehood without feeling shame..
So.. I won't reiterate you lovely brother.. Cuz I know how good a person you are. Just explore all SJD verses for couple of days and beg for truth and be neutral and leave it to Allah to guide and choose... You know brother accepting and leaving all habits are not damn easy... It takes mammoth leap to do so... I am sure Allah will convince you... Did you hear what I said, "Allah will convince you " about SJD...Note Ask to yourself how many times you weeped while reading Quran and specially when understood first time something in correct way... And you immediately left old understanding..yes that's SJD and weeping. .. That's humbling and SJD...
As a person who believes I clarified what God has guided me with... And I know until guidance reach it is not easy to understand me... So I am patient with my fellow believers who seek...

First of all Ruku means abide by / comply / be subservient / be submissive etc...
Now let's compare below two verses where a command is given stating "when it is said"..7748
"And when it is said to them, 'Abide by / rā kāf ʿayn ر ك ع' they do not abide by."2560
And when it is said to them, "acknowledge sīn jīm dāl س ج د to Ar'Rahman," they say, "And what is Ar'Rahman? Should we acknowledge to that which you order us ...."Aren't the above two verses identical when it comes to command.. Indeed yes.. But if taken in general understanding or conventional Muslims' understanding it is like "when it is said to them to RUKU OR SJD physically they don't "
Why do we need to tell others to RUKU physically ie to be in such a posture what RUKU depicts...similarly why do we need to tell others to SJD physically to be in such a posture which SJD depicts... Well.. No.. We don't need to say anything like that to disbelievers.. In the first place they have not accepted God and they don't believe in One God and on top of that why to tell them to physically kneel and SJD? Are we crazy? .. All we need to say if you love disbelievers for any given reasons is ABIDE BY (ruku).. Abide by what? God's path... Or acknowledge (SJD) to to God's path...
But they BELIE the command.. They refuse... Doesn't that make sense my fellow believers? -

Of late I was wondering regarding SJD which was commanded to Malika... Adam was a new creation and it is perfect time for Adam and Malaika all together PHYSICALLY PROSTRATE to Allah if SJD indeed means kind of physical worship to Allah... Command should have been indeed all to SJD to Allah and not to Adam if SJD means physical prostration as a worship... But instead command was SJD to Adam... It further clarifies that SJD is ACKNOWLEDGE... doesn't Adam need to SJD to Allah in the first place physically if such worship is indeed meant? Allah never compel to acknowledge / SJD to Him... SJD to Allah is through submissive / humble thoughts this abide by it... But to acknowledge / SJD anything one doesn't need to abide by / be submissive but following command itself is enough.. You can acknowledge willingly or unwillingly and not required to be submissive with heart truly.. But iblees neither willingly nor unwillingly SJD /acknowledged to Adam and iblees gave his reasom to refuse to acknowledge... Reflect could iblees ever lived on elite group with all Malika if iblees was not someone who not SJD /acknowledged Allah? No way.. Iblees acknowledged Allah for sure... That's why iblees lived there.. But He could not acknowledge Adam as a new creation giving such respect.. Iblees couldn't tolerate Adam's creation almost equaling with Malika ..

So... What exactly BELIEVERS SJD and DISBELIEVERS not SJD when Quran is recited?
Well.. Absolute truth is when the Quran is RECITED BELIEVERS reflect and they realize and they not deny the verses of Allah and eventually they ACKNOWLEDGE /SJD...
on the other hand, when the Quran verses are recited to or heard or read by DISBELIVERS they deny it some after knowing it is truth and others neglect outright thus refusing to ACKNOWLEDGE /SJD out of their arrogance and ignorance too..Who wants any DISBELIEVER to physically prostrate when Quran is recited to them regardless of language proficiency... Suppose if Quran is recited it arabic to a disbeliever whose language is other than Arabic, do you want them to physically prostrate for jist hearing the sound? Nope.. Allah never meant such stupid claims by His verses..
All Allah meant for Arabs and those who knew arabic of those days when Quran was read to listen and reflect so that they can acknowledge the truth.... That's what BELIEVERS did for that matter...
But what's happening now with all Sunni or shia or any group of Muslims... Yes.. They don't ACKNOWLEDGE / SJD when Quran is recited to them... All they say is not enough and we have to look in Hadith books for further clarifications...they don't SJD hearing the verses of Allah.. But they definitely SJD Physically not hearing the recital of Quran but according to Hadith... Cuz this physical prostration is indeed an invention by those who invented this religion called Islam.. How can Islam be a religion while no one in the past took Islam as religion while Messengers came with Islam / System or mechanism only... Cuz it was never a religion.. Bht this new group made it a religion and their own religion too..I have presented my comprehensive understanding and I can't convince anyone and I don't want to. But ponder within Quran. .

Well.. Didn't prophet Ibrahim preach Islam /mechanism or system as Deen /direction and the prophets who followed after him? Yes indeed they preached Islam.. Then why no one said their religion was Islam and thus they were muslims cuz of the religion..
But only after Mohamed we strangley notice a religion called ISLAM...and thus they call only themselves as Muslims.. Not anyone else.. Musa preached Islam and did Isa.. All messengers preached Islam.. But what did false followers invented? Yes.. They invented religions such Judaism and Christianity etc with several variations...similarly ..Arabs after few decades of demise of Mohamed they invented a religion called Islam and thus they called themselves Muslims... This religion is founded combined by Quran and hearsays. . They were idolworshippers and it lost its worth in the society with advent of Quran and number of believers in society.. But after demise of Mohamed few decades later the idolworshipers didn't create their old idolworship or reestablished their aaliha again.. No.. No one was there to accept it. But they formed a religion with the root of faith of believers adding fabrications abd making it look more attractive and they called it a religion ISLAM solely for them leaving all the previous scripture holders away from it wit unique characteristics in the religion..
That's why history says that Islam was a religion founded in Arabia by Mohamed.. That's so unfortunate.. Mohamed didn't establish a religion called Islam.. He preached Quran, path of Allah same as all other messengers... -
2112 Nay, but whosoever submits / surrenders his goal / intention / purpose / self (wajha) to the God, being a good doer, his wage is with his Lord, and no fear shall be on them, neither shall they grieve.
Some consider wajha is literal face... In Quran itself there are many verses that indicates that wajha means not a literal or physical face of a person... This verse is an ideal example.. Similarly as I stated in my previous posts that it was not a mark on literal face cuz of SJD...

I have asked a few seniors here in Arabia about the meaning of the word in question and they all attributed to be the literal act of bowing down. I did not find a single Arabic person at least within my circle who says the otherwise.
However Jkhan's interpretation seeks to explore the broader, metaphorical significance of "Sujud" as acknowledgment and submission, traditional exegesis and the linguistic use of "Sujud" in the Quran strongly support its primary understanding as physical prostration. This union act serves both as a physical demonstration of worship and a metaphor for the spiritual submission of one's will to Allah.
God's guidance is not limited to any language but honestly I can not also ignore the following verses of Quran as well, hence we also need to understand the context and background of each verse at the time of Quran revelation and its audience.
"Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran that you might understand." (Quran 122)
"And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic legislation. And if you should follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or defender." (Quran 1337)
"A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Quran for a people who know," (Quran 413)

Does Allah, our Lord indeed in hunt of our physical prostration (SJD) for Himself or is He craving for it? Why He wants us to physically prostrate to Him? No.. He is not in need of anything.. Let's figure this out with purpose of Creation .. Let me bring to light following three verses to instill some sort of idea for what purpose God gave us life... Verses are very much self-explanatory if you are aware what indeed Ibada means? If one misinterpreted and fails to grasp meaning of Ibada then these unambiguous verses may give an entirely different perspective...

"I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve (ibada) Me"672
"who (Allah) created death and life, that He might try you which of you is better in works (Amal); and He is the All-mighty, the All-forgiving"4731
"And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you and the perseverant, and We will test your affairs."
Okay.. Let's dive deep.. If Ibada means ritual worship (rituals like sujud, ruku, salah, haj , etc etc etc) then except these ritual worships, God is not expecting from men and jinn anything.. So if we literally translate the verse 5156 in black and white it would stand like this
"I have not created jinn and mankind except to ritually worship (ibada) Me"
If in case you disagree to above translation, then perhaps for you Ibada means either not ritual worship or Ibada means ritual worship plus something else or something else only..
So.. Let's find some clue from other two verses which I intentionally brought here... God reiterates in these two verses stating TEST / TRY... to find out what? Yes.. To find out and confirm who is better in WORKS / DEEDS (Amal) and God would try constantly up untill it is evident that this person is truthful and perseverant and His WORKS are better...
Well.. Now question is what these WORKS (Amal) are?
Does Allah means here that He tests our rituals to find out who is better in rituals and they strive hard in rituals and persevere so yes it became evident this person is truthful?
Nope.. Read all Ibada verses to get a better grip of what I say in case these three verses not giving you adequate sense ..Let me make your task little bit facilitated..
1944 (Ibrahim said) "O my father, do not serve (Ibada) Satan. Indeed Satan has ever been, to Ar'Rahman, disobedient."
Well deeply ponder.. Ibrahim's father was a disbeliver in One God and they were in ritual worshiping of idols considering them to be their Deities plus they have their own path.. But Ibrahim with all his knowledge states 'DO NOT SERVE (IBADA) SATAN' ... Well from where SATAN creeped into the frame while they were devoted to their idols / deities .. First of all rituals are meaningless and from Satan and part of works of satan.. by doing rituals one is indeed serving SATAN not literally and ritually worshiping SATAN but they are following path of Satan... Following Path of Satan is indeed Ibada but in vain.. But path of Allah is Ibada of reality... Note well.. No idolworshiper goes to his idols and be silent but they verbally or mentally communicate to their deities and beg to accomplish their requests or they praise them or ask for forgiveness etc etc similar to true believers approach Allah...
Why Allah said like the below verse states..3660
"Did I not enjoin you, O children of Adam that you should not serve (ibada) the Satan? Surely he is your open enemy."So.. Reflect deeply what Ibada means... It absolutely means following path of Allah truly and not path of Satan which is full of Evils plus Rituals but that too ibaada .. Cuz SATAN has taught and instigated them religions which is falsehood.

And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing...."Well Satan has not written any literal book to follow or SATAN has exposed his physic to the world and keep commanding people to follow his path.. So ponder well.. what is path of Satan or following footsteps of Satan means.. Yes a path other than the path of Allah is well and truly path of Satan .. And such path is invention of human but with influence of Satan deviating from Allah's path .. So ensure to take only the path of Allah.. Example QURAN alone..

"(Said Iblees) , "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all..."Well. .invisible force is behind and hovering but Allah has warned.. Thus Ibada (Serving) Allah has become Rituals and Satan made attractive these rituals regardless what religion they are in. Ultimately people do Serve (Ibada) Satan and His evils and his attractions as their path and fails to serve Allah the one who created them.. In a nutshell, totally failed to follow the path of Allah thus deviated from the purpose why they were given a life ... Following path of Allah literally serving (Ibada) Allah has no value to Allah and Allah does not crave it from us... It only benefits us cuz Allah created human and Jinn to follow His path / Serving Allah to our own benefit.. Allah doesn't need any rituals of sujud or ruku or salah or haj rituals etc... Gave us life and commanded to follow His path in order to deserve a better life in the hereafter.. Nothing else.. But people have chosen paths other than Allah's..
So.. Sujud is human invention with the influence of Satan in order to divert people to rituals away from path of Allah.. Physical prostration or kneeling is such an anceint practice to respect their respective deities fear of harming them and similarly done to anceint Kings and Lords and Rich communities or even their Masters everywhere in fear and True God is not in need of any such physical movement from men and jinn but all He commanded is to follow His path thus serving Him alone for our own benefit ... Cuz note well.. He didn't create all this in vain... Allah has purpose of creation and we should have purpose of life..

Not boasting myself but that's how I feel with guidance of Allah ... Because I was there in your stance a couple of years ago while still following Quran alone.. So.. Guidance should reach you then only you will ever be able to perceive what I have been trying to herald people... Here verse clearly states to have connection / integrity of course with Allah.. What's this connection with Allah is..? It is leaving everything to Allah and fully occupy ourself our heart to Allah thus deep connection is cultivated .. Once you have that connection (salah) to Allah you start to purify yourself cuz your connection is with Allah not with falsehood.. Every time you gonna wrong this connection evade you from wronging ... Only those who have this connection / integrity aware how it helps to keep away evils.. So when evils are kept at bay your souls get purified..
And the verse further says abide by / with humilty (arka'au) cuz Allah has set laws which one need to abide by with it.. There are believers already abiding by them.. So be one of those ie abide by with the abiding ones..
It's not conventional salah and ZAKAT and Ruku.. What correlation to put all these in this order.. I mean ritual salah then obligatory charity / ZAKAT then Ruku.. Ruku is part of salah.. Nonsensical..Take example of 343 similar verse to get a better comparison in which SJD comes first and then Ruku.. Is that salah order? That's not order of Salat..

"O Maryam! be obedient to your Lord and acknowledge (SJD) and abide by (Arka'au) with the abiding ones "It's not salah and this order Allah can say in any order... " Abide by with the abiding ones and acknowledge " no issue at all..

When I was reading the verses of Musa talking to Allah directly I was expecting Musa to be in physical prostration posture.. But no..
Musa was freely talking to His Lord.. And seems standing and communicating towards where sound echoes.. That's why Allah asked what's in your right hand Musa ? And it indicates most probably Musa was standing with a staff in the right hand and was listening and communicating to Allah. .
No way near any sujud word... And it is an ideal time to be in physical prostration cuz Allah was communicating and hearing His sound directly so what could be better time than that for a human to be in physical posture of prostration.. But No.. Allah doesn't need of it.. -

BTW.. I don't compel anyone here to accept but reflect and leave the guidance to Allah.. I know most of those who follow Quran alone do accept that SUJUD means physical... I don't blame them.. Honestly a friend of mine whom I consider as my best buddy keep reiterating to me as "just keep your damn head on the floor and worship your Lord and don't be arrogant "...Well..i am sorry my friend..i am not gonna do it.. So, what makes you think and decide that SJD = physical prostration....? Does that really make sense for you... Remember folks these are actual statements from Allah... Did Allah really mean to say when Quran is recited to them, they DID NOT PHYSICALLY PROSTRATE?
Imagine... When you converse or have a chat with a disbelieving frind of yours, do you want them to physically prostrate when you read out verses of Quran to them or you mind wants them to believe in God and thus acknowledge God's revelation?
Reality is so different...
Allah is not begging from them physical prostration to Him.. Allah wants them to follow right path so that they be saved from humiliation of hereafter... That's why Allah says when the Quran is recited they not Sujud acknowledge knowing the impact of their rejection..Believer SUJUD while disbeliever NOT SUJUD has a whopping proof to grasp the meaning of SUJUD... try to sort it out..

It is very much within your comprehension that 'Path of Allah' is not equal to any path even the intention is to serve the same Lord with the 'Path/s' that they have invented.
If human can fabricate path/s to reach the Lord and Allah doesn't mind of them being invented then there is no need of 'Path of Allah' while INTENTION of people is to serve Him alone. Any path other than path of Allah is but of SATAN'S and with the path of Satan no one can possibly ever serve Allah Alone..The actual reason I clarified a fundamental aspect as stated above is to shed some light whether 'physical SUJUD' is path of Allah or not..
Without any element of doubt, the word SUJUD has lot to do with Allah's path when applied in context. So this word cannot be taken for granted..
Who propelled the word SUJUD to be a posture which is PHYSICAL PROSTRATION and when and why? Are we continuing to do a thing from a community who invented this physical posture with a stern conviction of certainity that it is command of Allah. In that case would it be path of Allah? Well! Path of Allah means everything according to what Allah revealed and meant and not any other assumptions.. Our own speculations and our rituals cannot become literally part and parcel of 'Path of Allah ' simply given the fact it was practiced by our ancestors and we inherited it.
Path of Allah is to be sought from Allah alone and not to be learned from our ancestors..
Does any of the verses in Quran clarifies to us that SUJUD means physical prostration in a particular manner which is practiced specifically by conventional Muslims? If Quran doesn't clarifies that very posture in detail, then it is not Path of Allah save invention..
One can furnish his thoughts stating that what is the big deal if one prostrates physically to Allah even if the meaning of Sujud does not tally physically prostrating? Well.. If the meaning of a word is not grasped in its true sense, there is a huge possibility of confusing entire meaning of Quran's concept.. Taking the verses where Sujud does appear as physical prostration leads to astray from the real meaning which Allah has revealed and that's why seeking to approach to exact same message of Allah is pivotal in order that we don't deviate from the essence of original message of the Book..
I know, it is quite painstakingly hefty to leave certain practices which we embraced for ages considering those were real commands of Allah. But in light of true guidance one should have that natural instinct as a believer to leave behind falsehood. Allah's way of testing us is so strange and intrigue at times by leaving us in darkness for over considerable number of years then gradually bringing closer to His light but most of us are not willing to accept Allah's guidance and prefer the darkness they were / are in. Remember, we are not born with guidance but we are to seek guidance and leave falsehood when Allah opens your path towards it.. Arrogance won't help us at all. We as human has a knack of adamance on most of our transformation period.. And that turns out to arrogance thus sticking to what we are used with and feels satisfied in that comfort zone and ever ready to desperately negate all truths gradually emiting. May Allah save us from that attitude.. As Allah clearly says, they rejected once it was clear to them. That's pretty dangerous..
So.. I humbly request, read and explore and compare with all possible logic that you can apply and find out what exactly SUJUD means in Quran for your own sake. Allah willing, you may get to know the truth of verses of Allah...

Salam... I presented above verses after meticulously given thoughts into them.. Read at least few times these four verses and reflect a lot as fellow believers.. One thing is assured, no one can come between you and your guidance if you are guided by Allah save Satan if you choose instead of Path of Allah .. Now we all love to achieve our ultimate goal which is pleasant to hear.. But are we really allowing our self to be guided by Allah. Or are we adament?
Now, why I am reiterating these... I was having a conversation with my lovely fellow believer brother Kaltun last night.. He was keep asking me How do you know that I am on right path, so don't spread misguidance.. That's his advice gently and amicably..
Well.. An honest believer who seek nothing but guidance of Allah alone knows his own self and how he has developed his character from stage to stage.. True believer knows that.. True believer's intention never to herald a message to others in order to send others astray or to show his knowledge and boast.. Waste.. .. It's a very crucial matter.. As a person and a believer and as a student of this glorious Quran I know my limits and knowledge in it and most of all my intention when I herald a message within understanding.. It's our duty.. yes.. We can live without heralding any message of Allah to anyone and just live and die..Cuz QURAN is already there in Arabic and translations too... So why bother.. No harm most probably... but Allah wants believers to herald message of Allah Cuz we learn them and we spend loads of time in them and we seek guidance from it.. Look below..

Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His PATH, and He is most knowing of who is guided ones."Well.. While one does with good intention he may encounter various objections in ignorant ways mostly as well from others who differ and those who intent to seek knowledge truly...
So whoever take this challenge be prepared to do so with immaculate purpose...
My advice is when a person who claims he follows ALLAH'S PATH alone and have difference in opinion to the other , just question him or her not to turn him to your own understanding but to get some light whether he is the guided one or he is confused.. Perhaps you will realize he is either guided and speaking the truth or misguided if you apply your QURANs knowledge and guidance of Allah.. Use such people as check point for your own understanding.. Thus a True believer can enhance his or her understanding and have a good grip of Allah's guidance..
If you are not aware that you are following Allah's guidance alone then you seriously need to reflect and approach Allah with all begging it requires. Instead taking a moderate stance won't rectify it.. Path of Satan is ever welcoming you with all attractions.. ..
Always question a person who is different to you pertaining to a same subject cuz Allah's path is One and it has no ambiguity.. For instance.. Note.. If you read Quran 37 you will realize it has a strong message.. But how you understand 37 ID key.. I have given my translation based on my understanding... If interested you at read it.. So Quran verses are two type.. One is obvious and the other needs research and comparison within Quran to grasp it..

خَٟشِعَةً أَبْصَٟرُهُـمْ تَرْهَقُهُـمْ ذِلَّةٚۖ
With their visions dazed/downcast and humiliation overwhelmed them —
ان لوگوں کی بصارتیں نگوں، عاجزی اور انکساری کے احساس سے لبریز ہوں گی۔ذلت ان کے چہروں پر چھائی ہو گی۔

And indeed they used to be called towards prostrations while they were in sound free state.
اور انہیں حیات دنیا میں بھی سجدے کے لئے بلایا جاتا تھا جب وہ صحیح سالم آزاد تھے(مگر نہیں کرتے تھے)۔
