No no its really simple. Nude Art is an art. ITs like "Mona Lisa" or "The Storm" or "The Last Supper". It is all art. But going out in shorts, thats against God. God says cover your self to both men and women. So even I wont go out in shorts which are above my knees. There are shorts which are below the knee. I have no problem if my wife wants to go out in those. Coz i would be wearing them . But i wont allow her to go outside wearing shorts which are above the knees or sleeveless shirts. I can wear sleeveless shirts coz i dont have boobies. So there is nothing sexual about me wearing sleeveless shirts.

      Salaam Jaxal,

Sorry dude, but there will always be something sexual about you because you are human. Allah is not putting restrictions on sexuality here.

Salaam all especially sister warda wink and welcome to Nadeem

Nudity or til what point can you show yourbody really is a question of environment.

At my house or with other women around I'm a very free person. But not in public. when i was about 25 (long time ago shock ) i tried miniskirts which everybody wore then...i just couldn't do it - although my minis were just above the knee - not so mini...

My daughter (12) is the exact contrary. Although she's much more timid than i am she doesn't see no problem in showing her belly - becoz everybody does it at her school and they have no second thought about it. I'm afraid though of the guys in the street who have different reaction than fellow school kids...especially here in Maghreb. We found a compromise and i have her wear something around her waist - t-shirt with long sleeves or so - in order not to espose herself. Dress code is really for protection i believe and in order not to shock people which might have a different way of life - so that's what i try to explain when we discuss this subject.

But nudity in itself is not as such shameful or dirty. Everything always is in the mind.

        Bye, LK

I think the problem is not with nudity but the person who interprets it. Do you think most ppl gets aroused in the art gallery seeing a nude art ? I dont think so. Only a pervert mind would do so and no matter what a pervert mind will always find a reason to stimulate him/herself.

So which is best for us ? To open our mind or get more conservative ?

best for us is to lower our gaze .
          peace.

              Salaam,

I saw a man with tits yesterday. Male and female breasts are basically the same thing. Women produce milk because they will have children. Males too actually have these very same mammary glans and can lactate.

By the way, females are attracted to men with nice chests just as men tend to be attracted to females with nice chests. So I wonder if you will reconsider your position about it not being sexual in men.

and also want to know ur opinions about

                    1. posing nude for "art" .
                    2. and what if some "artist" draws a nude painting of someone close to u , for example your wife or sis . and says "its only art!" . do u all have a problem with that or not ? no offense .

Joe, bruv there is a different between man boobies and woman boobies. Lollllllllllllllll. They are not the same! ITs not the same thing!!!

Saladin, Just so you know, all the paintings i have mentioned, they were completely created out of the painter's mind. No one posed nude for them.

I dont know why anyone would pose nude for art, unless they just want it for themselves or something. Not a good excuse but still people do it. I cant really understand why.

The artist is the creator of beautiful things.
To reveal art and conceal the artist is art's aim.
The critic is he who can translate into another manner or a new material his impression of beautiful things.

Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault.

Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope. They are the elect to whom beautiful things mean only beauty.

No artist desires to prove anything.
Even things that are true can be proved.
                        No artist is ever morbid.
                        The artist can express everything.
Thought and language are to the artist instruments of an art.

From the point of view of form, the type of all the arts is the art of the musician. From the point of view of feeling, the actor's craft is the type.

All art is at once surface and symbol.
Those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril.
Those who read the symbol do so at their peril.

We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely.

                        All art is quite useless.

See, coz I don't wanna have discussions every day about that, I want to educate my daughter in that way that she doesn't want to wear that kind of stuff by her own.

Are you an art fan or just nude art heheh? I don't know which...but most everyone knows most artists use real models unless one is Picasso...they were normally commissioned by rich people to paint their families or themselves or other stuff depending on what the artist was famous for...the Mona Lisa is also known as La Gioconda, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. My fave artists are Vermeer and Monet btw...you can google to find out more about the history of Mona Lisa if you want...

I looked into it a long time ago when the move Mona Lisa Smile came out lolll . I was thinking it was somehow based on a real person called Mona Lisa. By the way, here is a funny pic i made of Mona Lisa Lolllllllllllllll
