      Lote Tree,

I am working class person. Dictatorship or Kingdom really doesn't matter if the Dictator or King is working for the benefit the the poor common person. I am sick of listening this propaganda that democracy is the ideal system and all the Arab world must follow the western democracy which only works for the Rich and well connected people of the society.

Dr. Mahathir Muhammad is an good example to me what a sincere and honest leader can do for the nation and its people.

      Peace KGB,

I somewhat agree with you. The common people does not care whether they're living under a dictatorship or democracy (or even anarchy) as long as they're well-fed and safe.

The answer to your question is through some pupular movement. The Kings and Dictors who don't work for the benefit of common people can't be removed from election process. Husni Mubarak is an good example of corrupt ruler. They have elections in Egypt and he always wins.

The USA democracy which they considered is good and trying to implement this corrupt CORPORATE politics in the name of democracy in Middle East will be no benefit to the common people. It will only create new professional politics who will start sucking peoples blood by lies and deception.

Saudis rulers who are White House slaves should have told American to "Shut up" instead of trying to introduce western democracy. Saudi Royal family can be popular and become the beloved leaders if they simply work for the benefit of the common people by creating jobs, by giving people freedom of speech and thought, by investing their "OIL REVENUES" in their own country instead of investing it in America.

Sadly Royal Family don't have courage because they are hypocrites and cowards like the rest of the Muslim world leaders. Malaysia is an exception and all the credit goes to the brave honest leadership of Dr. Mahatir Muhammad.

            Salaam KGB,

Mahathir Muhammad is not a leader anymore.

And what make him so special?

I have heard that he have closed his eyes for corruption and that he live in luxary.

Politician in Sweden my country they don't live in palaces they are more equal to the normal people.

            Peace

              Walleikum Salaam Dear Sister SwedenMajidah,

I know that Dr. Mahatir Muhammed retired but the present Prime Minster Abdullah is following the policies set by the very honest sincere leader Dr. Mahatir Muhammad. Dr. Mahatir Muhammad critize for lots of things by the West specially America. What make him special is that he turned Malaysia from third world country into a developed nation in just 22 years. This is something which can be achieved in all the muslim world if you have sincere honest leaders.

If a system of democracy is advocated in which the people of such a democracy can change their laws to other than found in 'al quran' then this system by default is unlikely to be recommended in 'al quran'.

In this respect, democracy (rule of majority) contains a fatal flaw.

Right now, the scenario presented to mquran is that there is already a ummah of quran following believers. Problem is, how do we chooose a leader? Im still waiting for him to answer this step by step. Just so i can understand.

Where did I say this please ? This goes against my understanding of even the word ummah. You are mistaken, Jaxal.

Ok, it doesn't start with an 'umma of believers'. It starts with one man, the messenger.

the messenger calls people to serve Allah. He then fulfils the role of the messenger (3/164) and (57/9) and also leads them in engagement in the world.

From here, the umma is formed.

Yes, because no one has taken THE MESSENGER role. One guy needs to stand up and say 'i am the messenger, obey me'.
