      Salaam KGB,

Mahathir Muhammad is not a leader anymore.

And what make him so special?

I have heard that he have closed his eyes for corruption and that he live in luxary.

Politician in Sweden my country they don't live in palaces they are more equal to the normal people.

      Peace
      Sis Majidah

        Walleikum Salaam Dear Sister SwedenMajidah,

I know that Dr. Mahatir Muhammed retired but the present Prime Minster Abdullah is following the policies set by the very honest sincere leader Dr. Mahatir Muhammad. Dr. Mahatir Muhammad critize for lots of things by the West specially America. What make him special is that he turned Malaysia from third world country into a developed nation in just 22 years. This is something which can be achieved in all the muslim world if you have sincere honest leaders.

If a system of democracy is advocated in which the people of such a democracy can change their laws to other than found in 'al quran' then this system by default is unlikely to be recommended in 'al quran'.

In this respect, democracy (rule of majority) contains a fatal flaw.

Right now, the scenario presented to mquran is that there is already a ummah of quran following believers. Problem is, how do we chooose a leader? Im still waiting for him to answer this step by step. Just so i can understand.

Where did I say this please ? This goes against my understanding of even the word ummah. You are mistaken, Jaxal.

Ok, it doesn't start with an 'umma of believers'. It starts with one man, the messenger.

the messenger calls people to serve Allah. He then fulfils the role of the messenger (3/164) and (57/9) and also leads them in engagement in the world.

From here, the umma is formed.

Yes, because no one has taken THE MESSENGER role. One guy needs to stand up and say 'i am the messenger, obey me'.

Who fulfils that criteria, yes. He must be INSPIRED to this. Please read the stories of the messengers, Jaxal.

Good question. No , I wouldn't because RK didn't teach the Quran but rather sunnism minus hadith.

Interesting. Ok, what if, this messenger was teaching something that went against your belief. You say RK was teaching sunnism - hadiths, but what if that is the right way? Would you beleive he is the leader?

( i have no associationg with RK or his teaching, im just using him as a reference )
