No one has to 'love' to go beyond his/her ego. As i said, 'love' is dog crap.

I think you are talking about your KFC Jaxal -)

Love is a subjective experience Jaxal. This "EGO-less" love needs to be experienced for you to know that it exists.

          Peace,

          Jaxal, you stated

There is no such thing as ego less love.

Of course there is. In fact, ego is the one thing that stands in the way of experienceing love. You're a prime example. I mean no offense but it's clear that your denial of love is a defense mechanism, to protect your bruised ego.

I used to be that way too. For me, I could not experience love until I wore my heart on my sleeve, unprotected, without ego. That's when the love poured in from every angle, not just romance.

          Peace,
          Tay

The whole conept of 'love' was created to sooth the ego. To make oneself feel special, somehow different. A man/woman can take the same amount of care of his/her partner without calling it love. Yet, people prefer it. So there cannot be an ego-less 'love'

In that context? Well, 'loving' someone wont give me superhuman powers. So its not like a person can do something for someone he/she in love with and not for someone he/she cares about. 'Love' is a useless, empty and hollow word. No more special than 'jdoialdjae' or 'achdakjdpeh'. Its like the myth eros or cupid. Non-existant. I hope you understand

                  Peace Jaxal,

I don't recall saying that loving someone will give you superhuman powers. I'm not sure where you got that idea from, so there's no sense in defeating it.

Getting back to my question, please define "care".

                  Thanks,
                  Tay

                      Peace Jaxal,

I was hoping you'd have the courtesy to put the term in your own words. If you want to cease this discussion, just say so. Otherwise, it would be nice to discuss with you and not with a dictionary.

                      thanks,
                      Tay

You asked me to define the word. So i gave you the link. Care is a verb. Sorry i cant define it. Its like you asking me to define 'climbing'. But i do see a difference between care and 'love'. Care is more honourable than 'love' in my opinion. Even a whore can love you for the 30 mins you pay her for. But she wont care for you. I hope you understand.

How can you have extreme love for Allah if you don't know how to love Him

                          Can Love be taught?

                          Regards,

I dont know if love can be taught. I dont know if were just born with it, some more than others.

But i will tell you this. This morning i got out of bed and was hit by the first rays of the sun through the window, that lid up the room and provided me warmth. Right there i knew God cares for me.
Then i got outside, and saw the beuty of spring. Saw the flocks seeking south, and how all the leaves is turning red/brown so it looks as if the fields and forest in my area is on fire. Right there i knew that God cares.
Then walking in my own thoughts, as i often do in the mornings to get some air, i saw a loving couple and their child. I prayed that they never gets seperated, because they looked so happy. And right there i knew God cares.

To me the question has not been "how can you love God" for a long time. It has been "how can you not love God, when you see what is provided for you". Everywhere i turn i see the evidence as if it all had been illuminated. When ever i stand amazed at nature and the world, i see design. Or howabout all the times where God has comforted me in my darkest hours? Where my heart has been made soft by Gods grace just by asking for it. When my tears has been taken from me and replacd with hope, just because i asked for it....I mean....how can you not love God?

To some God is a theory, to others an item of worship, to me, God is all there is. Everything else is the illusion God allows us to see. And imagine that you always have someone listening to you ,following you closely to make sure that you are allright. But God doesnt want to enforce anything upon us, so if we chose to walk with him out of our free will, God will be so thrilled that he pays both for the party, and makes sure that youre having a good one.

                          Allah Akbarr

                          Peace

                            Peace Jaxal,

It's all good bro, but the reason I wanted your definition is because as it stands, your position is vague. Defining climbing is simple. It's a mechanical concept - easy to describe, ie, to ascend, to move up in elevation, etc. But caring implies emotion. A dictionary definition does not do it justice.

So your example of a whore who can love but cannot care is meaningless until you define the terms. One could just as easily say a whore can care but not love.

Tell me what the difference is between loving and caring so we can be on the same page, because as it stands, my understanding of love is not possible for someone to participate in for 30 minutes. And it seems to me that your definition of love has a lot more to do with lust, ie, physical attraction and stimulation.

                            Peace,
                            Tay
