SC you can think of me whatever you want JUST LIKE i can think of you whatever i want. That hardly concerns me. As far as if i know what is going on in pakistan, my mother's brother and his family and my mother's sister and her family live in Islamabad. My other uncle lives in Afghanistan. Another uncle lives in peshawar. Another uncle lives in India. Our relatives live in Lahore and Gujrat. I thank God that they are all alright and i hope so is your family. But this doesnt changes the fact that Musharaff is a incompetent leader. Its like a tradition that Pakistan gets the worst leaders ever. In 50 years what have they done? Pakistan is still the third world country it was 50 years ago. So forgive me if dont give a damn about the govt of Pakistan. Mushraff is to blame. Its his fault innocent people are dieing.

What concerns me is you total DISREGARD of any pertinent information and lack of comprehension capabilities. I tell you about Muzaffarabad and you tell me of India, Afghanistan, Gujrat and Lahore? What the hell is wrong with you? Do you know what happened in Muzaffarabad?
Knowing how you post on other threads and how well you can actually assimilate knowledge, I have NO doubt you do NOT have a clue about politics and running a country let alone Pakistan's politics, economy and growth and how the country has fared under different governments. This obviously gives you license to bad mouth a government you know NOTHING about and assign blame indiscriminately left right and centre.
I don't think I should waste anymore time on you as other users have found out for their own selves.

SC you are judging me on the lack of something you dont even know if i have or not. Why? Have i ever judged you like that? I know a lot of things about a lot of things. I choose to keep that knowledge to myself. But plz be assured. If you want to talk about politics, i will give you something to talk about. People have died. They could have been saved. But they werent. ITs an irony of life. No one gets out of it alive. But those people could have been saved if there wasnt an incompetent govt. This is the truth no matter how you put it.

People have died because it was a fracking 7.6 on the Richter scale and these communities were on mountainous terrain. they have been living here for a long long time. They have been completely cut off by landslides and mudslides with heavy rain and hail the first two days after. That is why people have died. If you talk to the people there and see what is actually happening and how the government is helping and has the right priorities you wouldn't be talking out of your posterior. So if you have FACTS that contradict these statements, please provide them other than your baseless opinions about the government being responsible.
Regarding politics, why don't you tell me about it then? Please bring your facts and figures that compare this current government to the ones before. I'll be waiting.

those images on our screen. You can't help but weep....You can always talk about poxy politics later until you are all blue in the face!
But lets just pray for all those who have died and those who are suffering now, in silence...

with that said.. if this was a man made "tragedy"... your noble concern would make more sense..

If I don't like what YOU are posting then I have the right to stand up and ask you bring your PROOF of YOUR accusations. Bring it. Tell me how many people the government has KILLED during this earthquake, and back it up with PROOF. Give me facts and figures of how they were DIRECTLY responsible as you claim they were. I don't give a frack about what you say to other people in your personal life, if you have the temerity to post DRIVEL on a forum, you better believe there is going to be someone out there who will take you to task for your 'comments'. By the way, where are the fact and figures comparisions between the current government and previous governments? Do you have any idea of what is actually being done? The best it can as we can see on all news channels...there is a disaster plan, there are medical supplies, there are rescue teams. What the hell are you complaining about? It's not the standard of another country? Big fracking whoop, it's what they can do. Now bring your proof that they are sitting on their ass.
The entire opposition of the country is united behind the current government in this time of crisis, if the government wasn't doing anything they would be the first to complain... but who does? This one uninformed guy who feels that he can post whatever the hell he wants to, no matter what the reality is on the ground. Sad and pathetic.

Brother naxus. My apologies if i have went off topic in this thread ( well... i have and the admins are welcome to delete my post in here). But what i said is directly releated to what the thread is about. I have made no secret of it. My heart breaks when i see those little children dead. Its crushes me. 12 children died in the city my grandfather lived. they were crushed to death becoz the school they were in was poorly built. I blame the govt for not ensuring the saftey of this little innocent children. But i am glad about the fact that now these people are with God. They are in a better place.

i feel sorry for all those who died in this huge calamity. i hope and pray all those injured and all those who have lost their families in this tragedy, have enough strength to get back to some kind of normalcy soon! i hope and pray they find enough help to do so!
At the time of a crisis, there just cant be a blame game. the crisis needs to be dealt with as best as possible.once its dealt with, the blame game can start. so, peace guys! lets pray for them instead!

Actually, if anyone is thinking of donating, please don't donate to Redcross or Unicef. I have friends in both, and my friend in Unicef informed me that out of the money they collect 73% go to "adminstrative costs" whilst 12% go to "miscellaneous field expenses." So only about 15% is actually used for its intended purpose. Redcross maintains 75% administrative costs.
Your best bet would be to donate to the President's Earthquake Relief Fund, or the EDHI foundation. The President's Earthquake relief fund would be the best option as it is used immediately. -

I experienced the earthquake first hand here in Islamabad. Thanx to ALLAH all of my family are safe although many people I know lost their whole families up in Kashmir.
For those of you who want to donate financially , the best bet is the Edhi foundation..Their credibility is impeccable and they have their own transport for conveying the relief goods to the affected areas.
