thank you for being more specific.. you made two different sentences which could be decieving...
So many innocent lives lost
And the deaths of so many children....it is so sad and terrible to see
those images on our screen. You can't help but weep...you said many innocent lives lost.. then you said.. "AND" the deaths of so many children..
so which is it?
with that said.. if this was a man made "tragedy"... your noble concern would make more sense..
now without denying the fact that all childern are innocent.. can you please explain why it is a "tragedy"

And I am sorry my langauge was not clear but it was not meant to be deceptive but rather it was written as a reaction to what people where doing on the thread i.e attacking each other...Perhaps another time we can debate this.

Yea lets blame everyone else except the people who are to be blamed. Lets blame God. Or the mountainous terrains and the land slids and mud slids. But astagfiruallah if we blame the govt. Tell me how many people the government has KILLED during this earthquake, and back it up with PROOF. Give me facts and figures of how they were DIRECTLY responsible as you claim they were. I don't give a frack about what you say to other people in your personal life, if you have the temerity to post DRIVEL on a forum, you better believe there is going to be someone out there who will take you to task for your 'comments'. By the way, where are the fact and figures comparisions between the current government and previous governments? Do you have any idea what this government has achieved as opposed to the previous governments? I'm still waiting. Where are your PROOFS?
INNOCENT people died in pakistan becoz the govt was to ****ing lazy to take care of it. Where are the medical supplies? Where is the disaster plan? what the **** has that govt been doing? feeding its bluddy self. I feel terrible about the people . absolutely terrible. breaks my heart. little children have died coz they schoool they were in had shitty structure. You go and kiss this govt ass while more people die coz they are stranded. Where is their rescue???? Who is going to save them? Go rant about how good the govt is to someone who is blind. Do you have any idea of what is actually being done? The best it can as we can see on all news channels...there is a disaster plan, there are medical supplies, there are rescue teams. What the hell are you complaining about? It's not the standard of another country? Big fracking whoop, it's what they can do. Now bring your proof that they are sitting on their ass.
The entire opposition of the country is united behind the current government in this time of crisis, if the government wasn't doing anything they would be the first to complain... but who does? This one uninformed guy who feels that he can post whatever the hell he wants to, no matter what the reality is on the ground. Sad and pathetic.

Brother naxus. My apologies if i have went off topic in this thread ( well... i have and the admins are welcome to delete my post in here). But what i said is directly releated to what the thread is about. I have made no secret of it. My heart breaks when i see those little children dead. Its crushes me. 12 children died in the city my grandfather lived. they were crushed to death becoz the school they were in was poorly built. I blame the govt for not ensuring the saftey of this little innocent children. But i am glad about the fact that now these people are with God. They are in a better place.

Yep, as expected when facts, figures and actual thinking crops up...Jaxal has no response except illogical and exagerrated statements. My family and friends died there. I'm aware of what went on. I'm done with you, what a waste of time.

i feel sorry for all those who died in this huge calamity. i hope and pray all those injured and all those who have lost their families in this tragedy, have enough strength to get back to some kind of normalcy soon! i hope and pray they find enough help to do so!
At the time of a crisis, there just cant be a blame game. the crisis needs to be dealt with as best as possible.once its dealt with, the blame game can start. so, peace guys! lets pray for them instead!

Actually, if anyone is thinking of donating, please don't donate to Redcross or Unicef. I have friends in both, and my friend in Unicef informed me that out of the money they collect 73% go to "adminstrative costs" whilst 12% go to "miscellaneous field expenses." So only about 15% is actually used for its intended purpose. Redcross maintains 75% administrative costs.
Your best bet would be to donate to the President's Earthquake Relief Fund, or the EDHI foundation. The President's Earthquake relief fund would be the best option as it is used immediately. -

I experienced the earthquake first hand here in Islamabad. Thanx to ALLAH all of my family are safe although many people I know lost their whole families up in Kashmir.
For those of you who want to donate financially , the best bet is the Edhi foundation..Their credibility is impeccable and they have their own transport for conveying the relief goods to the affected areas.
