Yes I do believe that Allah will provide help if we start following Qur'an.
Correct. Allah says it's incumbent (kataba Allah, 30/47) to help the believers. One of the characteristics of a believer is that he hears, and he obeys (2/285). What does he hear ? The sayings of the messenger , (69/40).
My point is, the program of al-quraan demands someone there to practise it and fertilise its information among the believers. That person, whatever you want to call him, acts the role of what al-quraan calls 'ar-rasool'.

I started to look for the Prophethood and Messangership in Qur'an and did find interesting verses. I will take time to gather compile and put my understanding into words which I am not very good at.
MQuran, I will not say anything on the forum to please you or anybody else, so whatever I write in blunt undeplomatic way is what I firmly believe.

I am really enjoying contructive discussion with you. We may never agree on issues but sure I am in the company of learned person who is helping me to increase my knowledge about the message and every day learning meaning of new Arabic words. Thank you MQuran.
Regarding the Prophethood we are discussing here I started reading Sura Aal Imran 3164 but Allah Taala guided me to read the whole Sura and I find very interesting verses. I am not finish with the message only read Sura Aal Imran and An Nissah. I will go through the rest of Qur'an inshaAllah soon.

You give me too much credit there. I'm here to learn as much as anyone. The key thing is to keep stimulating each other with information while continuing to be a good person. If only I had as much humility as Kyle, Wakas or Joe.

Notice how Ali-imran builds up to the conflict which is led by the messenger. This is what strenghtens my belief in the need for such a personality. One who keeps inculcating in the believers the message. I honestly don't mind if this guy doesn't call himself a messenger, as long as he acts in the manner al-quraan commands him.

Definitions of ?sect? no. 1 and 3, that you mentioned, fit any humans forming a group of two or more individuals.
For instance, any football team is by these definitions a sect, as they are ?a group of people forming a distinct unit within a larger group by virtue of certain refinements or distinctions of belief or practice?. )
And they are ?a faction united by common interests or beliefs?. )
It also fits a ?double-team? in tennis, and the same in any other team sports. Actually it also goes for individuals in any sports or other activity, as long as the sport/activity has more than one member. lol
The only definition that may be more specific is definition no. 2 which is mentioning a ?religious body?.
All we have to do is to clarify, ?what is religion? and voila, certitude is there, FM is, or is not, a sect as per definition 2.
Maybe you can shed some light on the subject?
