But interesting discussion none the less.I can speak for myself. It looks like a pig and since here is much evidence to support this, I take it as a pig. It seems piglike, though if you look at the hooves, they seem divided into more segments than one? Artistic license?

I asked a few arabic speakers/readers/writers and they all failed to put Khanzir to any three letters root
also they all now it as pig and never heard it means anything else same case with me
