            Salaams ,

            002.071
He said "He says A heifer not trained to till the soil or water the fields; sound and without blemish." They said "Now hast thou brought the truth." Then they offered her in sacrifice, but not with good-will.
            272
And (remember) when you woe?d/cursed a man then you disputed regarding it but Allah brought forth/brought to exit what you were concealing retsrained (anger).
            273
So we said seek a way share with a piece of it (the slaughtered cow) thus brings to life Allah those in grief/made upset and shows you his signs so that you may understand.

Qatal = woe/curse ? according to the use elsewhere in the quran 7420,8017.
The other meanings are from QD .

            Salaams.

              Hi mz357,

Arabic is not my language. This is too difficult for me to understand. Can it be more simpler?

              Thanks

                Salaams Br.
Arabic is my third lingo; so it can?t be that good but if a person uses his imagination and talent he is capable of working out that 2+2=4, but on occasions you make mistakes as well.

I think we must use common sense and the context of the ayah to try to understand.

Qatl isn?t always killed see 854
                =woe/curse.
                And checking Quranic Dictionary
                It can also be
= be accused or render person like one killed.

                272
and (remember) when you cursed a man then you disputed regarding it but Allah brought forth/brought to exit what you were concealing (anger).
                273
So we said seek a way with him(share) with a piece of it (the slaughtered cow) thus brings to life Allah those in grief/made upset and shows you his signs so that you may understand.

This is basically using the Quranic dictionary and the word for word translation of the Noble Quran.

                God Bless.
