    Hi Apple pie,

Are you willing to base your eternal salvation on something that may be "right or wrong"...?

Eternity is a long time to be wrong.

Again these scare tactics wont work, Apple pie.

We are not those who would follow blind beliefs and faith out of irrational fear.
We follow what we understand as true.

U should let go off the fear u seem to hold so close, and seek answers for urself, fearlessly.

And just for ur info, this is what muslims in general believe, about life on earth and eternity

Regarding the position of man in relation to the Universe, the Quran says

"God has made subservient to you whatever is on the earth or in universe. You are destined to rule over the Universe."

But in relation to God, the Quran says

"O man God has bestowed on you excellent faculties and has created life and death to put you to test in order to see whose actions are good and who has deviated from the right path."

In spite of free will which he enjoys, to some extent, every man is born under certain circumstances and continues to live under certain circumstances beyond his control. With regard to this God says, according to Islam, it is my will to create any man under condition that seem best to me. cosmic plans finite mortals can not fully comprehend.

But I will certainly test you in prosperity as well in adversity, in health as well as in sickness, in heights as well as in depths. My ways of testing differ from man to man, from hour to hour. In adversity do not despair and do resort to unlawful means. It is but a passing phase. In prosperity do not forget God. God-gifts are given only as trusts. You are always on trial, every moment on test. In this sphere of life there is not to reason why, there is but to do and die. If you live in accordance with God; and if you die, die in the path of God. You may call it fatalism. but this type of fatalism is a condition of vigorous increasing effort, keeping you ever on the alert.

Do not consider this temporal life on earth as the end of human existence. There is a life after death and it is eternal. Life after death is only a connection link, a door that opens up hidden reality of life. Every action in life however insignificant, produces a lasting effect. It is correctly recorded somehow. Some of the ways of God are known to you, but many of his ways are hidden from you. What is hidden in you and from you in this world will be unrolled and laid open before you in the next. the virtuous will enjoy the blessing of God which the eye has not seen, nor has the ear heard, nor has it entered into the hearts of men to conceive of they will march onward reaching higher and higher stages of evolution.

Those who have wasted opportunity in this life shall under the inevitable law, which makes every man taste of what he has done, be subjugated to a course of treatment of the spiritual diseases which they have brought about with their own hands. Beware, it is terrible ordeal. Bodily pain is torture, you can bear somehow. Spiritual pain is hell, you will find it almost unbearable. Fight in this life itself the tendencies of the spirit prone to evil, tempting to lead you into iniquities ways.

Reach the next stage when the self-accusing sprit in your conscience is awakened and the soul is anxious to attain moral excellence and revolt against disobedience. This will lead you to the final stage of the soul at rest, contented with God, finding its happiness and delight in him alone. The soul no more stumbles. The stage of struggle passes away.

Truth is victorious and falsehood lays down its arms. All complexes will then be resolved. Your house will not be divided against itself. Your personality will get integrated round the central core of submission to the will of God and complete surrender to his divine purpose. All hidden energies will then be released. The soul then will have peace.God will then address you

"O thou soul that art at rest, and restest fully contented with thy Lord return to thy Lord. He pleased with thee and thou pleased with him; So enter among my servants and enter into my paradise."

This is the final goal for man; to become, on the, one hand, the master of the universe and on the other, to see that his soul finds rest in his Lord, that not only his Lord will be pleased with him but that he is also pleased with his Lord. Contentment, complete contentment, satisfaction, complete satisfaction, peace, complete peace. The love of God is his food at this stage and he drinks deep at the fountain of life. Sorrow and defeat do not overwhelm him and success does not find him in vain and exulting.

    Peace!

I think Apple Pie is wrestling with concepts he has no real experience with. Perhaps he isn't aware that Arab Christians also pray to "Allah".

      Regards.

      exactly right bro

in fact Allah is written in the Arabic Bible when referred to God

did you read Ahmad Didaat book "What is His Name?"

      Peace

        Peace Apple pie,

Put some effort into your salvation.... roll

Put some effort into ur research.
Dont see what is shown to u, but seek for urself.

        Done.

Ur posts show quite clearly that u have no idea what muslims believe in.

What matters is what is stated in the book of faith of Muslims - which is 99% Biblical material.

How Islam interperprets their Biblical origins is a secondary event.

All u seem to be doing is trying ur best to paint a false picture.(well, I dont blame u. It appears u have been spoon fed with false information).

My position is based upon firm research, of which, even the "learned" in this forum are completely unable to refute.

Anyways, This isnt about christianity vs Islam. Its about truth, and one's understanding of it.

Who ever said that it was....?

Well u see, U r clearly wasting ur time.

        Not at all...

Most of us here seek truth and understanding for ourselves.

Is this before, after, or during a session of Cat Stevens....

And we dont have blind beliefs. So, these false tactics wont work with us.

Your beliefs should be fully verifiable in the classic Arabic of your book of faith.

        Are they...?

Here's what we believe in short
-we believe in one supreme God, who has no form or shape.

        • we believe in righteousness as our requirement of living our religion.

Where is this stated in your book of faith?

Here's a suggestion for u For a period, I'd suggest u let go of ur faith & its teachings, and live life contemplating on life and our creator. Just let go of all those things that u have been taught and preached, and just live, observe and contemplate.
U will find the answers for urself, during and after .Unless u r too scared to do that.
And then believe in what u understand and realise. Life gives u the truth, the answers. Just look for it in silence.

        Done.

''Believe nothing on the faith of traditions,
even though they have been held in honor
for many generations and in diverse places.
Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it.
Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past.
Do not believe what you yourself have imagined,
persuading yourself that a God inspires you.
Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests.
After examination, believe what you yourself have tested
and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.''

The correct concept of the God is that He exists and is singular. Anything else is a word game.

          Regards.

Please explain the plurality at the Throne in sura 81 for us...

Or.....just run away from the question....as usual.... lol

                EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!

well not exactly. But the truth is not about 1 book of faith. Its about this world. And the truth is manifest everywhere. You just have to look.

Peace be upon you Apple Pie,

Sorry, I was away from forum all weekend. Quickly, you asked me why I quote from thsi book caled "Koran" while my guidance is the universe. The answer is that this is what this site was designed for, study and debate of the "Koran".

However, you will see me quote several books and philosophies all over this forum.

I dont realy have any interest in reading all of the posts that transpired from my last response on page 1. I will just ask, what does 666 mean to you. I want to see what kind of guidance you get from it compared to what I stated.

Peace be upon you Apple Pie,

                    Welcome back?

Hope that you had a pleasant time off.

Revelation tells us of two beasts.

One from the sea, and one from the earth.

Amazingly, as it is, the Koran (which is ~50% Biblical Book of Revelation material), also mentions these two beasts.

                    The first beast represents Satan.

                    The second beast represents mankind.

666 represents mankind, and is tied to the second beast, from the Earth

This is not one man - but the whole of mankind that is under the influence of the devil, either by thought or deed (i.e. the ?mark? on their forehead or hand).

There are Muslims out there that give absolutely zero credit to the Biblical Book of Revelation, when, in fact, nearly the entire book (if not the total book) is strewn across the pages of the Koran in a hap-hazard fashion.

Makes the detective work a little more rewarding when the 1,000 piece puzzle has to be put back together after it was put in the Islamic box and shaken-up?.

                    Hope this helps?

There is nothing NEW about the Koran or Islam.

                                Not quite.

There is nothing new in the Koran that was not stated hundreds and even thousands of years BEFORE it was copied into your book of faith.

Islam, however, is a new (and distorted) way of interpreting the non-new translated Koran.

It's the real thing, and always has been.

                                Neither are the real deal.

One is a second-hand translated Arabic copy of the original, and the other is a twisted man-made interpretation of the copied scriptures.

                                Just accept this fact.

The fact that you see corrupted fragments of genuine material in amongst the rape, anthropomorphism, incest, and corruption of the biblical texts is proof of the above verse.

                                Regards.

Why do you talk this way about your book of faith....?

Peace be upon you Pple Pie,

Amazingly, as it is, the Koran (which is ~50% Biblical Book of Revelation material), also mentions these two beasts.

                                  The first beast represents Satan.

                                  The second beast represents mankind.

666 represents mankind, and is tied to the second beast, from the Earth

This is not one man - but the whole of mankind that is under the influence of the devil, either by thought or deed (i.e. the ?mark? on their forehead or hand).

Please elaborate on that. Give verses from both books so I can understand your understanding and see how it relates to life to be used as guidance.

What about the copying of the bible from other more ancient texts?

Let's start with an example that I have already uncovered in sura 81...

                                      The Woman rides the Beast

                                      Compare to 81.4?

                                      Wa-itha alAAisharu AAuttilat

81.4 And when the ten and ten abandoned the woman.

                                      = ?isharu?

                                      ?isharu? definition

Plural. Ten and ten; or ten and ten together; or ten at a time and ten at a time; having the quality of an epithet. They come ten and ten. The repetition is for the purpose of corroboration. It comes from the root ?ashara?, which means to take away a tenth part, make ten by adding one to nine, be the tenth.

= ?al? + ?isharu? = ?alAAisharu? = the ten and ten

                                      ?uttilat? definition

Feminine singular. Said of a woman, she had not upon her any woman?s ornaments; and wore not any ornature, or decoration or her neck was destitute of necklaces or the like. Said of lands of seed-produce as meaning they were left uncultivated. Abandoned. It comes from the root ?atila?, which means to be without care, be abandoned and not to be used; the denuded, or unclad, part, or parts, of the body. The body, or person; particularly, as some say, of a human being; the neck; the beauty of body; a stalk of a raceme of a palm tree. Applied to a woman, having no woman?s ornaments upon her; or whose neck is destitute of necklaces or the like.

Occurrences of the root ?atila? and its 2 forms in the Koran 2
                                      Locations 22.45, 81.4

Observe that the usage of the root derivative ?muAAattalatin?, in 22.45, pertains to the destruction and destitution of a city?just as it does in 81.4?

                                      Summary of 81.4

? The Book of Revelation dictates Koranic Eschatology
? 81.4 begins with ?wa-itha?, which is a continuation of 81.3, and can be rendered as ?remember the time??hence the information contained in this ayah also existed prior to it being penned in Arabic
? Revelation describes the First Beast rising from the sea, as having ?deka? ?keras?, or ten horns, with ?deka? ?diadema?, or ten diadems (crowns), on the horns?or ten horns and ten crowns
? 81.4 tells us of ?alAAisharu?, or Ten and ten; or ten and ten together; or ten at a time and ten at a time
? ?alAAisharu? is termed as an epithet?which is used to describe the nature of a thing
? The ten and ten is used as corroboration, i.e. to support with evidence in order to make more certain
? Revelation also tells that a ?gune?, or woman, is riding this First Beast from the sea
? Further, Revelation informs us that this woman is initially ?periballo?, or bedecked, with all manner of garments and ?chrusoo?, or ornaments
? Revelation tells us that this woman becomes ?eremoo?, or desolate of her vast possessions, and ?gumnos?, or naked (unclad)
? 81.4 tells us that ?uttilat? also refers to a woman
? ?Uttilat? describes this woman as ?she had not upon her any woman?s ornaments; and wore not any ornature, or decoration or her neck was destitute of necklaces or the like.?
? Further, the root ?atila? informs us that this woman becomes denuded, unclad, or naked
? Amazingly, it is beyond any reasonable doubt that the description in 81.4 is the very same one as described in the Book of Revelation, and represents the Woman (i.e. Babylon the Great, the City of man) as she is riding the First Beast (i.e. the devil), and has come to her own destruction
