Ok , see this is what I don't get. so many people tlk about the koran being the word of god, the EXACT word of god, yet everywhere I look, that "word" seems to mean more things than I an count, there fore making it next to impossible for anyone to interpret. then I hear that there is no interpretation needed, but that is all there is. Then of course there is the non stop study and debate of each interpretation. meanwhile, in the end, none of it seems to mean anything more than what has allready been said by so many.
Call me confused, but should faith be based un something that seems to have a basically unstable understanding?
Again, more typos and I apologize. I have a spling on my right ring finger. That is a major handicap, as firefox has yet to upgrade it's spell check extensions for the new version. Please bear with me, I am trying

Hang in there bro. I was down the same path not very long ago, and I experienced the same frustrations. Despite what many would have you believe, the Qur'an is not clear cut, it is not explicit in many of it's concepts, and it does not require mastery of a foreign language.
What I've come to learn and live with, is that the Qur'an is for everyone. That is it's beauty, it's miraculous nature. Just look around this somewhat unified forum and count the variations. This is no accident.
Study the Qur'an at your own pace. Use the tools at your disposal, cross-reference translations, and apply the guidance to your life. Test the knowledge, see if it helps. If it does, you're probably on the right path. Remember, the Qur'an is for you.
In the end, 569 stands out to all believers as the simplest path to evolution of the soul

To be honest, i have never laid hand on teh book. I have veiwed it on the internet but that is it. I have no real need for it. everything I eed to know, the creator allready gave me. i just have to find the right questions then unlock the right answers. that is MY path. What I do not understand is studying over some book (any book for that matter) to find what has already been made available to every person of every intelectual level, age, culture or geography. Occum' razor. the simplest answer is often the right one. Just look for the simplest answer to your questions. No need even to know how to read

See, the mind is designed to answer questions. It doesn't reference it's answers, it just answers the questions. The mind requires a criterion to keep it in check. I'm not saying that there is only one criterion, but I am saying that a criterion is necessary. To many, that book is the criterion.
Occum' razor. the simplest answer is often the right one.

All you have to do is look, have patience, and be open to receive the answer. Asking "why ice floats" is not a question that will lead me on a greater path, but the fact that ice floats or the simple observation of an ice burg breaking away and floating out to sea may be an answer. See what i mean? you may ask why something happens, I simply look to see THAT it happens and what it has to say -

But you still haven't explained what the right question is nor how one knows if the question is right. Can you give me an example of "the right question"?

This is inconsistent with what you said earlier about Occam's Razor and the simplest answer being the correct one. Here, you're choosing not to answer at all, but to observe. And that observation may lead you far from simple.
I have nothing against simple observation, or better worded, observation without judgement. In fact, I'm a strong proponent of this practice, particularly, if one can practice observation without questions and answers, without thought altogether. If this is what you meant by simple answers, then I'd have to agree, but I don't think Occam does.

I cannot give you an example. we all have our own questions and mine will not work for you. We all have a different peice of creation before us so we will not find the answers in the same way or place, BUT will will find the same answers. We were put here with all the tools, directions and guidance we need. it up to us to simply SEE it. the simplest answer is not in analisis, deep long drawn out discussions with yourself and others. The simplest answers to your most seemingly complex questions lie right in front of you, so obvious that we miss them.
To take from a great peice of writing (paraphrasing here) why would god create a color as beautiful as purple if he did not want us to stop and appreciate it?
Next time you have a hard question that needs answering, turn first to creation. look at it simply. see what it is, why it does what, know where it has been where it's going, then look at yourself in it. the answer will be staring you in the face. So simple, yet so exquisite. Within creation are the keys, we have just forgotten how to see them.
this is MY way. I personally believe it possible for it to work for everyone as creation is the one universal that ties EVERYTHING together. We forget that sometimes and spend out time looking for some deeper emotional or personal connection, but creation IS the universal. We all live within it no matter what. I can't tell you how to do it, you just do it. Seek and ye shall find
