I dont feel any way about Harun Yahya, I am only interested in the information presented being true or false, but I have enjoyed many of his articles/videos. Good food for thought on his sites.

Yeah i guess its easy to slander one of the greatest islamic scholars and call him a sexual predator and everything else you could come up with.
It easy to do that and still argue that you are muslim and ofcourse its easy to do that then add your own perverted propaganda to replace his unselfish wisdom.
harunyahya.com is a great site by a great man. hundreds of books for free, he doesn't need your money. This is a man who tries to save those he can, not for the rewards of this life but the next. a great scholar.
Its really muslim like of you to slander him with peadofile acts. Shows exactly that you are not muslims.

sometime back i was becomin an atheist started questioning Allah s existence , but somewhere in my heart i knew Allah existed
i waz in a total confused state of mind at tht time
but then my eyes fell on harun yahya s book "allah is known for a reason"
i read only one chapter n trust me tht time i realised tht nothin abt God could be more convincing then this
atleast this guy harun yahya makes us realise he uses simple scientific facts like big bang , photosynthesis ect which we already learned in school to prove his point ,he makes us think abt these things the way in which we never thought before
the facts are in front of us but this guy makes us think it as a creation of Allah ,
stil many pple call him liar and say tht he is scientifically wrong well by the way he uses those facts which have already been thought us in school then how can he be wrong
n besides all his books , videos , audio tapes ,presentations ect are on his website for FREE i think this guy most be earning more then enough money by selling his books , i myself have seen his books in virgin book store n many other book stores , still he has put his books on the net for FREE ,atleast i wouldnt pay money n buy his books if they are already available on the net for free, how many pple think like me n this way how much loss he would suffer, why for wht is he doin this ?think abt his intenstions , think abt other muslim scholors who write books n become famous like harun yahya with their work would they keep their books for Free?
well i respect this guy from my heart it is he who bought me back to faith by Allah s grace and thanks to Allah tht i read his books tht i am back to faith ,atleast he made me think abt creation in a different way

Harun Yahya's work is great.
Good people, devoted to God's service are always slandered and abused by those who wish to live lives according to their whims.
Just look into history, the Quran gives many examples of upright righeous people who were abused.
May God bring more people to His way through Harun Yahya's work.
We should never accept any slander from any body against Harun Yahya. His work is filled only with good.

As a scientist I cannot say Harun Yahya's work is great. His misguided attacks on evolution are filled with misinformations, out-of-context quotes, and accusations.

I'd just like to say that, as a Turk, I have come across this 'man' before. He is part of a mafia, has ripped off pieces of work, and has been involved in a lot of shady affairs. As has been a growing trend these people cover up their tracks and just throw money at a problem and evidences and accusers just seem to dissappear.

His former student Mustafa Akyol, who has long time declared his freedom from the Adnan Oktar wrote most of the books on Evolution. Mustafa Akyol is now a prominent figure in Intelligent Design movement. Unfortunately, his books are published under the pen name Harun Yahya and credited to Adnan Oktar. Like many of Adnan's former students who know well the dirty tricks of their former master, Mustafa Akyol too is trying to forget the days when he was a young and naive university student.
Adnan Oktar, the creator of the pseudonym "Harun Yahya" is taking credit for the work of his followers.
It can't get any clearer than that. Adnan Oktar is a despicable person.

Here is my story of realization of Harun Yahya work.
When I first started searching for the truth, I came accross Harun Yahya books in my local mosque book store. I instantly love it becasue of all the nice pictures and really nice cover and print quality. I said "Finally". Then I start reading his books and found his website. The thing I like about his books was he mostly quoted the Quran verses and I love that.
As my knowlege grew, I started reading other materials especially from toluislam and freeminds. I realised that something wrong about his concept and his strong believe on "Jesus will return and Mahdi" I got suspicious and started researching in Quran and other poeple work I finally realized these concept are embedded in Christine doctrine and hadith material. Then I ask myself. How can this "honest" and "sincere" believer can advocate these concept as QURANIC?
I listened to his pretty much all his audio lectures when driving. I must admit there are great information there. I started examining his work critically afterward. His book on "Miracle of Quran" and Video was very beautifully structured and I love it. Some of those miracles mentioned in the book was I read them somwhere else too. Immediatly, I realised that all this beautiful work is done by other researcher of Quran, he just complied them into his book in one place.
I started to see the pattern here, especially his evolution books. That's all he is doing Complile bit and pieces and presenting them as his books.
I used to wonder How this guy mananged to come up with more 200 books and book after book. and Bingo I got the answer. If you just compile INSTEAD of actually Authoring and doing any reasarch, you certainly can.
In conclusion, He is a COMPILER NOT a AUTHOR. One can still benefit from his compiled work like in the case of "Miracle of Quran". My suggestion do your own critcal research and trust GOD for true guidance.

even if he is a compiler, I'm sure he spends a lot of time in qualifying it then present it in one subject, his great work can't be denied though, it is sort of unity between muslims who work for him, however I'm totally against his secterian belief including Mahdi and the retrun of jesus, i may lean to believe in the return of jesus a bit due to one clue in the Quran, nothing more

Say his flock was very committed and compiled books on behalf of the church and did good works individually. Say then tha the leader was a megalomaniac who took all the credit for this work and on the side slept with any of the girls and women in his flock.
Would everyone call that a righteous church?

I've actually been contacted by this Mustafa Akyol some time in the past, when my counter article was still hot. We conversed through e-mail a few times and I must say that apart from our differences regarding evolution he's a pleasant person.
I don't quite catch the info you quoted. Has he broken away from the HY group, and what's his position now, is he still anti-evolution? ANd most important, how do you know about this?
