sal said "how does traditional salat prevent one from looking after His creation ?"
What did Abraham do to the trad salatists ?Why did he broke their gods?Because they were bowing ,prostrating/thanking or maybe begging aswell from their gods.
What was the difference between their salaat and the Trads?
He broke their idols so they stop this heinous act , dedicated to the God , He doesn't need it/or anything else/ but has repeated over and over again serve ye mankind??????
So how does bowing ,prostrating ,thanking and begging prevent us from serving mankind?you tell me!
I believe one becomes satisfied,drugged,drunk with this worshipping thingy and thus gives up what he should be doing because simply he becomes satisfied,full and doesn't thirst for serving mankind-i think.God Bless.

Where are the commands for your version?
Also, what about "dua"? Is that not "prayer"?

it doesnt . salat is established for the remembrance of Allah . if established sincerely, it can only increase the thirst of obeying Allah and helping our fellow humans .
(Koran 1071-7) Have you seen the one who consciously denies the system ?
It is he who will repel the orphans and will urge not the feeding of the needy.
Woe unto those who perform salat, yet are heedless of the purpose of it
Who would be seen at salat but refuse even small necessities to the needy? -

So why are you making it into somthing other or think it is something other?

that is because serving idols besides God is forbidden . bowing , prostrating ,thanking ,begging to dead or powerless idols is wrong . -

It doesn't say anywhere but you can see with your eyes the steps of both the idol worship and salaat are identical???The worshipping of an idol in any temple and Salaat are identical!

it does in the holy scriptures - all of them ,Allah repeats over and over don't do idol worshipping - i think.
But we are wasting our time as what is idolatory to me may be holy devine to some one else, so lets leave it at that .

But the point is trad salaat is idol worshipping and you say it isn't -how can you tell the difference when/if you look at an idol worshipper worshipping an invisisble idol and or one worshipping God Almighty?

before your last post , your point was that the traditional salaat method that includes bowing ,prostrating ,thanking and begging is the method of idolators and the method is forbidden . my point is that if the salat is established using the same method for the remembrance of Allah , how can it be idolatory ?-how can you tell the difference when/if you look at an idol worshipper worshipping an invisisble idol and or one worshipping God Almighty?
u can check if their salat is in accordance with the Quran . they are supposed to keep a moderate voice during salat , you can hear what they are reciting and who they are remembering .

But my point was this is what the idolators do aswell Br. they just chasnge the name from Allah to something other or havn't you noticed?

Br it's not about names ,its about our actions our Amall and so forth, this is the reason why we have made the word an idol , while he isn't an idol .
We should act according to Allah not see him as an idol , for we can't imagine what he is.

This is what i am saying to you that is idolatory simple change of name - but however that isn't anything at all but idolatory still.
Br changing the name of a car won't bring about any change in the physicality of the car and neither the service it is providing.
But putting a few rockets on its back will produce a tremendous change.
Sorry Br a name change isn't anything as we can't fool God Almighty he can see all our actions - criminal or holy.

u were using the word worship so u should know br.worship includes reverence, adoration, devotion, praise, prayer, glorification, exaltation which we are commanded to do for Allah in the Quran . salat however does not mean worship but it includes worship .
