This thread has degenerated into a strange and weird place with occasional jaunts into vulgarity and immaturity. I would suggest you refrain from posting to this poster. Personally, I feel disgusted. I hope the mods take notice. This is ridiculous.

Ive stated my understanding of the Quran on this issue..and this is my last reply concerning it ..
I dont believe its something people are born with,thats like saying God created people to be gay then condemns them for being that way and God is not a sadist...as for hemerphadites(sp?),I cant explain this,but its probably just a medical deformaty,just like some people are born with a extra toe or finger..being born hemerphadite doesnt make them gay,We do have doctors,and now we have the technology to repair the defects by Gods blessings.And God has never condemned people just because they wer born with defects..but he does say that sexual relations between men are an abomination...so why keep using excuses to make it acceptable??(Dont need to answer,like I said this is my last reply on this subject)

Pologymy on the other hand has been discussed on this site already and I believe the FM/PM view is correct,that we can only marry more than one woman,if that woman is a widow and has children and under our care by an oath...and that it want cause hardship...

I don't consider myself representing islam, I only represent myself but I will leave the whole matter to God, as I don't care what you think really or others including the family members because as a general rule the people who will say the truth will always be opposed that is happeneing since Adam if you know history well, and I didn't make this truth up, it is the truth as written in the clear Quran.

she is opposing the clear law of Allah in His quran and promoting it and in the way she manipulated the clear verses to suit her needs by saying the warning was to the hetros who were born hetros and not to the homos who were born homos, what non sense is that?, my duty as stated in the Quran to fight her, exactly as Prophet Lut did, he is an example to us and I will always take him as an example for guidance
she was the one who delibertly intimidated me by directing a silly comment to a comment that was not for her, therefor and logically speaking she is the first who pepetrated
She assumed that I'm a future homo (first), and I assumed that she is a past homo (second)

see, the verse you posted does not apply here, point 1 above is enough if i decided to act on the highest islamic level and forgive her regarding 2 and 3, but I decided not to, that is because point 1 above was inclusive and that is more important to me and has higher priority than 2 and 3

Peace KGB and all. The context in which i understood peacefulmuslims comment was legitimate.(in my understanding and opinion) It sounded like food for thought;eg why do people need something to be prohibited in a book in order for them not to do it? If i cause unnecessary harm to someone then i know for myself(because of experience) that this is wrong. I believe the quran is being turned into an idol.(which contradicts the message people claim it promotes. ! ) The only thing i think peaceful-muslim could have done would have been to make her comment with different words,soften it,imply it, or not say it at all. I believe we all have to address our comments to the 'level' of the listener.(i dont mean that in a patronising way). Ab seems a 'sensitive' guy which is why i do not reply to his posts with comments which he might take as harsh or attacking him. I try to follow the philosophy of trying to calm someone down,not adding fuel to the fire.
If you re-read the last few pages of the thread then you would note the downward spiral of events. I believe a valuable lesson can be learned from this,try to make peace or understanding with opinions not argument,disorder,attacks and emotions. I am married,believe me i know the value of peace and compromise. ! shock
Please,increase the peace.

Peace all. I dont know why we cant put this episode behind us,without arguing or negativity. How can we pass on a message of peace while arguing between ourselves unnecessarily? What about tolerance and forgiveness? We all have bad days and all make mistakes. I personally give everyone a new clean slate. .
