And I hate to debate with you for the reasons I already mentioned several times, which you still can't seem to grasp. However, tell you what, just to satisfy your perturbed mind, I'll come up with a proposed plan of moderated debate. I shall be back in a lil' while. Until then, "DON'T THINK".

If you, on the other hand, fail to provide substantial and relevant back-up on any one of my concerns, then you will admit openly on this forum that the Quran is NOT the Words of GOD and never to talk about being divine again.

Since you are the defender of Quran?s divinity, I shall make series of questions in stages (to make it easier - one at a time), which you shall answer, specific to troubled verses.

Who determines what is 'hogwash' and 'failure to provide substantial and relevant backup' underlined above? You? Pardon me but I don't trust you to determine it. I suggest getting the admin to do it.
Also, if you want me to 'admit openly', you should also be ready to 'admit openly' that your remarks were made due to your bigotry and not due to careful study.

No problem there AS LONG AS you are willing to defend your tools of deconstruction. I will not accept any unproven assumptions at all and thus you have the obligation to answer my questions regarding your assumptions. Also, quoting from a site will entail that you know what the site says. Quoting 'sura like it' when you can't even read it is laughable, let alone unacceptable.
E.g. 'both western and islamic scholars' would qualify as an assumption. You can be sure I will thoroughly question this phrase. Don't expect me to take it because the word 'scholars' is in there.

When you say 'al-quraan puts forth barbaric punishments', isn't my right to interrogate what 'barbaric' means and what it's relative to? I know you prefer for me to acquiesce to your accusations and just go, 'wow you're the best' but you will need some reading for that. Another 25 years perhaps?
I wish we could have a prerequisite for posting here and that is to take classes in
- literacy
- logic.

I have never goaded you for answers before you post. Myself and other posters have noted your lack of arguments and now its common knowledge. Who's Enquirer The guy who never responds after you answer him. It's not that you lack a 'license', you just lack a 'grasp of what's going on'. Take yesterday's thread, I took half an hour to detail a response to you but you accused me of 'reading into the text'. When I ask you how, you can't articulate it. Take your time and engage when you want, I promise you it will be never.

You seek to subtely insult MQ by calling him a 'young man', perhaps thinking his youth is a liability. In the reading there is a story of a youth brought to his mother's people and they were of the opinion that knowledge or wisdom was in the jurisdiction of the older people. He proved them wrong, it is not a monopoly to the older populations in any community.

People will shift back and forth in their stances under different circumstances. People are contradictory. Giving praise to one who is young is one thing in one situation and ridiculing another because they are young is another thing in another situation.
I can be truthful to my friends and be a complete lier to my parents. Just because you have been one thing at one point in your life does not make it a constant.

Peace all. I agree that age is not necessarily a bar to wisdom,and nor is age a guarantee of wisdom either.....
However,if one has never been married,cannot drive etc,etc...how valuable is ones' opinion in regard to discussing marriage and cars,with someone else who has experience of cars and marriage.....you get my point....?

Once again, don't you see how it works? Numbers isn't currency for ME. It's currency for YOU. You love talking about majority view, how many agree and all the things other than the argument at hand which you never ever address unless it suits your delusions. So I mention numbers to you because it's YOUR currency.
Do you understand the concept of currency or do you try to pay with rupees in London?
