    As salamu alaykum.
    Respectfully.

    Qur'an mentions this
Had God wanted He could have destroyed you all and replaced you by another people; He has the power to do so (4133). Your Lord is Self-sufficient and Merciful. Had He wanted, He could have destroyed you and replaced you by other people, just as He had created you from the offspring of others (6133).

As i see it, of course i could be wrong, people in Bosnia were abandoning religion, Islam, and Allah Most Powerful punished them. They are now replaced by another generation and as far as i can see, this generation is doing what previous has been doing since the end of the WW2. Allah Most Merciful knows best.

    Qur'an mentions this
Which is better, the mosque that is founded for pious purposes and for achieving God's pleasure or that which is based on the brink of a crumbling bank and which may crumble into hell at any moment? God does not guide the unjust. (9109)
To me, this sounds like Twin Towers. I mean, people were just tradinf in those buildings, neglecting&forgetting religious duties. Of course, i'm sorry that they died but i heard that there was a room there where muslims actually prayed. Is this true?

    Qur'an also tells us
Let it be known that We will turn all things on earth into dust. (18

This is for the future. It sounds another disaster awaits. Earthquake, flood, fire, nuclear winter, volcano eruption, asteroid, virus, ice age perhaps ....

    Qur'an tells us
We know best what they say. The moderate ones among them will say, "You did not live on earth for more than a day." (20104) (Muhammad), they will ask you about the mountains. Tell them, "My Lord will grind them to powder (20105) and leave them so smoothly levelled (20106) that you will see no depression or elevation in it" (20107).

    Clearly said.

    Qur'an tells us
It is God who has created the night, the day, the Sun, and Moon and has made them swim in a certain orbit. (2133)

Back then, they did not have telescopes so they couldn't see if the planets are swiming.

    Qur'an tells us
The Romans have been defeated in a nearby land and after this defeat, (302) (within a few years) they will be victorious. (303)
All matters of the past and future are in the hands of God.The believers will enjoy the help of God on that Day (304).

    Everybody knows this, right?

    Qur'an tells us
Was it not a lesson for them, (the unbelievers), that We destroyed the many generations living before them among whose ruined dwellings they are now walking. In this there is many evidence (of the truth).
Will they not then listen? (3226).

Yes, now we are literally walking on top of the dwellings of previous generations, especially in Egypet and elsewhere where archeologists found the remains of old people.

    Qur'an tells us
All of them are to float in a certain orbit; (3640)

    Same as before.

    Qur'an tells us
    Sura 75
He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" (6).
When the eye is bewildered, (7)
    the moon eclipsed (.
and the sun and the moon are brought together, (9) people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" (10).

    Clear. Understandable. Direct. Simple.

    Qur'an tells us
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, (811)
the stars are made to fade away, (2)
the mountains are scattered about as dust, (3)
the young barren camels are abandoned, (4)
the wild beasts are herded together, (5)
the oceans are brought to a boil, (6)
souls are reunited with their bodies, (7)
questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, (.
such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" (9) the records of deeds are made public, (10) the heavens are unveiled, (11)
hell is made to blaze, (12) and Paradise is brought near, (13) then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds (14).

Sign. This is a clear sign. We don't know the exact date but it will happen. And when it does, it will be too late for disbelievers.

    Qur'an tells us
By the heavens with constellations, (851)
by the promised day, (2) and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), (3) may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches (4) by a burning fire (5)
while they themselves sat around it (6)
witnessing what they were doing (7).
The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy (.

Correct me, if i'm wrong but is this talking about US troops torturing Iraqis? No offence to anyone but to me it sounds like it is.

If i have wronged myself, i hope Allah Most Merciful will forgive me. Correct me, if i have made any mistake. Hope this helps.
    As salamu alaykum. sun

        Your welcome, brother.
There is another prophecy and i think it is yet to come or in the next maybe 100 or 1000 years from now. I will find the ayya where it is said. jedi

              Salam.

Do you have any proof that The Quran doesn't contain prophecies?

              Peace.

                that makes no sense.
How do I show you something that isn't there?

                  Salam.

This very sentence of yours proves my point you said something which means that you already named it. I can't show you nothing, becase nothing doesn't exist,i can only show you soemthing and before that i have to give it a second name.

Example there is something in the forest. Trees, grass, animals, water, etc, etc.

Nothing cannot exist. If nothing existed then it would be something and therefore visible in one wa or another.

                  Hope this helps.

                  Peace.

                      peace

I cannot believe in something when there is no evidence.
BOOST, you said that Aidid Safar has never seen the zam zam well so he can't possibly tell us what it's like. Well, no one has ever experienced judgement day or heaven.
To believe that there is such a place as heaven and there is a day of judgement we have to believe that the quran has some kind of special divinity. I cannot take that leap of faith. At least not yet.

So if we go by my theory that the quran only talks about things that us average humans have witnessed and can verify , what we call "judgement day" takes place all the time.

This very sentence of yours proves my point you said something which means that you already named it. I can't show you nothing, becase nothing doesn't exist,i can only show you soemthing and before that i have to give it a second name.

Alen, that makes no sense to me either. How can NOTHING me SOMETHING? How can I show you NOTHING?

Anyway, what is the point of prophecies? how do prophecies help us become better people, do good deeds? how do they guide me to the truth?
If you are going to say that prophecies are there as proof of quran's divinity, then it's a pretty poor argument.
Also, I hate it when people treat the quran like it's a book about the divinity of the quran. Does it have anything else in it? or just miraculous (more like dubious) scientific information, mathematical codes, and prophecies who's purpose is to prove that they are from God?

hmmm well when do you stop verifying the quran and start believing in its divinity?

are you trying to tell me that when God tells us the mountains are moving that's dubious scientific evidence?

what do prophecies do for us? nothing cuz its not all about us. its all about God.

I believe it when I see it. P

But I think it's important for me to point out that I think there's a difference between "from God" and "written/dictated by God." The truth is "from God" according to the quran. So if the quran is true, then it is from god. How do we know it's true? by examining each and every point that's made. There is no room for blind faith.

are you trying to tell me that when God tells us the mountains are moving that's dubious scientific evidence?

When did God tell us that?
if you are talking about the Quran, then can you please show me the verse. I'll show you where I think the problem is.

what do prophecies do for us? nothing cuz its not all about us. its all about God.

                          what's all about God?
prophecies are useless. Unless they are accompanied by specific advice on how to deal with a certain disaster or something, they are useless. And if all the quran has is useless prophecies, then the quran is useless too! but I doubt it is, because it doesn't have any prophecies.

Well, why don't you start by telling me what God is. Then I can tell you whether I believe it exists or not.

here's a link, look at it.
                                    http//www.islamicity.com/Mosque/99names.htm

God is our creator, He sent a guide for us to follow
so we'll have a better life after this life,
He will ressurect us after we die.

you've read the Qur'an, it explains what He is.

What do you mean by "creator?"

God is the creator of everything as in everything that you see (and don't see) around you He created that, all He has to do is say "Be" and it is, first something didn't exist then God made it exist.
what's so hard to understand here?

                                    peace

                                          peace

what do you mean what is it or how does it work?
what's confusing to you? ironsky and i already told you.

what, you don't know how He creates things?
He just says "Be" and it is.

1935 ... If He decrees a matter, then He simply says to it "Be," and it is.
