Salaamun all,
I am a member of this site since it built. But unfortunately, I lost my password in between and opened a new account few years later.
I know and discussed a lot with brothers Joe, Layth, Kyle, Waqas and lot more... group I don't know whether they remember me still or not confused
First part
I am from India (living in Dubai, now). I belonged to a sect called Mehdavi. And our family got a very very good values in the society and my mom and dad are respected well in our area. A little intro about Mehdavi, if you are interested or else you can jump to next para. Mehdavi is a group who believes in an Imam called Mehdi. They think Prophet Mohammed is just the only source of sending AlQuraan to the world, but Mehdi got the real explanation of AlQuraan from Allah. They follow Murshids They never ever listen to others and/or never go against Murshid. Murshid's words the last for them. If anyone ask any question, he is kafir or murtid . They clearly declase that "Mehdi ka munkar kafir" means who so ever don't believe in their Mehdi is kafir. They don't stand for Salaat behind non-Mehdavi. Even when they goto Hajj they delay going to salaat because they want to make their own jamaat with their Murshid. Overall, they believe in Mehdi more than Allah. Allah for them is used for the name sake.
I can describe them more as I won 2nd position in the quiz about Mehdi. yay
After a long time of almost 2-3 years... we are declared kafirs and get banned from mosques because we dont believe in Mehdi. And our whole community about 4000 houses in our locality came to know about us all. After that none of our old friends can meed us, all the eyes are on us everytime, like who is coming to us, how much time they have spent with us, etc. etc....
We wanted to meet new generation and explain them about the truth. But it was not possible & . We came to know that people are gathering for us. They wanted to teach us a lesson or they may kicked us out of our locality. But in response... I said "Allahu kaaffa li abdihi". Allah is enough for me as Allah shown that aayat from Sura AlImraan. And Alhamdulillah, everything cool down. And now almost 50% of my locality people are converted and converting from Mehdvi to Sunni hmm
Second part
One of my friend shown me some aayaats telling that is AlQuraan not enough for us? Alhamdulillah, I cannot able to deny those aayats. He was surprized to see my acceptance. As he faced lot of problems when he tried to explain/convince others. I said, "it is very easy... I cannot deny any aayat because I already came to know that AlQuraan is the absolute truth and from Allah. I could be wrong in my understandings but aayaats cannot be wrong."
So, I became "Allah aloner". I think it is better than saying "AlQuraan aloner". angel
Third part
Now, I got clashes with my in-laws regarding AlQuraan alone. They say, I became a kafir and my Nikah got Haraam and I am doing Zina when I am going to my wife. Whatever I am earning is Haraam for my wife and for my children.
So, they took Qula on 5th of June 2008. I dont care for what ever is happened, but I do care of my children. I try to keep myself ;D but from heart I am '( .You can find more details about this at
http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9596986.0
After a month of my Talaaq, I came back to Dubai.
I hope I am not bored you with all my personal stories...
May Allah guide us all towards the correct path towards Him alone.

Salaam Jankren,
I really felt bad to see this "If I were you I would rather keep my belief to myself and trusted others than risking losing my family". I think my family is greater than what I follow or from the path of Allah. I should not fear of losing my family if I am on Allah's path.
Jankren wrote
By the way did your wife disagree with you as well?Yes brother, my wife also disagree with me and my beliefs. Thats why she immidiately left my house when her uncle ask her to come with him. He said, "I cannot leave my daughter here in Jahannam... This house is a real jahannam... if I dont take my daughter with me... I will go to hell as well... Common beta lets go from here for ever..." And my wife suddenly got up, she collected all her jewelry and cloths and went with him.
What to say more ???

Salaamun Jankren,
Well, my kids are with me -X
My son is 4 years old and my daughter is 3 now.
Regards,
mmKhanCongratulations!
Allah tested you and you came through with your children and ditched the idol worshippers who were persecuting you because you were a Muslim. However what they do not realise is what they have lost (the opportunity for salvation).
God willing you can raise your children as best as you can and they will fear God and avoid association with Him.
If you are upset it is probably because you are adjusting to life without your family, but you have God on your side. You are extremely brave and honourable.
In Dubai, be careful. Do not be aloof about your religion.
Good luck.

salamu alikkum brother,
Sorry to hear that you lost your family and kids but these are testing from God. You stick to your belief ,as Roshan said please take of yourself in dubai especially with quran only.
i am in duabi for last 14 years i know what it is. hamdullillah my wife supports me ang i took a decision not to go in public with quran only stuff especially infront of wahabis.I have yet to find another quran aloner in dubai and i have to learn a lot since i already wasted precious time behind hadith (but still i read them to see the blunders made by men) For the time being it is "lakkum dheenukkum waliya deen".
Insallah you will find peace in your life but be patient and stick to the belief without any corruption and invoke every thing top God alone.

Salaamun brother Abdu,
Thank you for your concern brother. May Allah reward you the best.
I will be pleased to meet you in Dubai, if you don't mind. inshaAllah.
Alhamdulillah, Allah has shown me lot of His aayaats / signs, and made me Sabit Khadam. InshaAllah, no one can make change my beliefs except Allah.
May Allah guide us all towards the correct path.

My iftar timings are differents, better we will meet some other day, inshaAllah. I break my fast at around 710 when it get dark. After Salaat pr . What are your working hours during Ramadhan? I am working from 900 to 400 straight.

Peace to you brother mmKhan
I haven't given too much of thought about the timing of breaking fast and I break the fast at time of sunset and delay my salat to the darkeness of the night. I should verify it myself. Any way my office timing is 7.00 to 1.00 but I work in my own timings normally 9am to 3pm or 4pm depending on work load.
Abdu -
Salaaman brother Abdu,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I break the fast at time of sunset
At sunset? I am & to break my fast at that time. Because I felt that this is planned and spread nicely amoung Muslims after Prophet Mohammed in order to void their fasts by breaking it just before completion. Anyways... these are my personal thoughts.
I should verify it myself.
This is always better to verify on our own. inshaAllah.
BTW, where are you from?

You are probably right .Lot of things i practise now,may be nothing to do with Islam and that is because of my ignorance and not because of arrogance Joining this forum itself is one step to come out of the darkness. I really pray to God to forgive me for whatever I did and I do due to my ignorance.
This is always better to verify on our own. inshaAllah.

I should verify myself - Else, people may think i am crazy doing some thing for days or month and again do something else or even think i am not even trustworthy. so i want to take some time, study, verify and convince myself then execute the changes. My family probably may not even verify and may follow me blindly and I dont want them to be confused.
I am from Kerala, South India.

A small suggestion brother, if you think about others (as you say "people may think....", you will forget yourself and you may lead yourself towards the wrong path. So, let people think what they like. And you should be always open for corrections. IMHO, no one can say I am perfect, we need to change ourself every now and then to be on a right path. It is better to take a start with whatever is comfirmed to you from Allah.

Yes. I dont have to think about others once I am convinced that I am in right direction. But until i verify myself and given some time to the matter get settled then only i have to give dawah or invite people to our thoughts. Sometimes people follow us even without any invitation or advise or even with out our knowledge (especially when you lead a life of a leader or a righteous way doing good to people in different sects of life).Since we take decision mostly on knowledge and wisdom,We can change our positions in life . Lot of people out there they simply follow a leader thinking leader is always right. So when the leader change the way to a right direction after some time , some followers may not recognise or they are in a weak position mentally or physically and they continue in the same direction. Especially the people who follow you and you dont know that they are following you.
There are lot of young people I know praying 5 times a day with lot of difficulty. Since they are lazy ,they are just waiting for some one who is in a respectable position to say that you dont have to pray 5 times daily instead twice a day is enough- to reduce the no of timings without hurting their conscience. This people hear only what they like to hear ie shortening of prayer and nothing more than that and they will say they have learnt it from me. They are not seeing the important issue behind that. Then I have to bear the reponsibility of all their misdeeds as well.
Perhaps it would be difficult for them if I say to increase the no of salat. These are the reasons mainly I want to keep things for myself atleast for the time being. There are other reasons as well that we will discuss later.
Thank you for advise and support

Salaaman brother Abdu,
Oh Allah! Again ???
Yes, I agree 100%. But you don't have to think/worry this much about others. Let them do what they want. If they come to you asking then guide with the light that Allah has send with His Messenger.
Take care...

Salaamun Jankren and Roshan,
Oops! sorry sorry sorry! I made a mistake brickwall
I wanted to write that my kids are NOT with me '(
I am sorry for the mistake.

mmKhanPeace
It is important that you attempt to maintain some contact with your children then. Surely the courts have allowed for this? Normally in a Sunni country the men get custody once the children are slightly older.
It is always a surprise to me just n how many marriages break up when once person accepts Islam. It is just further proof that the most fervently ant-Islamic people on this planet are the Sunni/Shia sectarians (and this assumes there are no other sided to the issue).
Good luck
