    Salam,

A brother online has showed me this and so I thought it's really important that I share it.

If you have wondered how Mary (pbuh) can produce a son on her own these 14 videos will make sense with evidence from the Quran Alone.

    http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBx1vTje2ro&feature=PlayList&p=ED40E3E3B5E006F0&index=0

    .....................................................................................

Now once you have finished from the videos people ... here is an article example with pics

    http//www.angelfire.com/ca2/BornHermaphrodite/?ref=webkizi.com

And I want to discuss 2 points about the 14 Youtube videos

    (1) Mohammad Shaikh speaks of the verse where Mary (pbuh) was eating dates and drinking from the stream. But he does not get to discuss "fasting". She was doing abstinence (fasting) forbearance from any indulgence/self-restraint for Allah.

Now we are doing this in Ramadhan against food & drink, but she was doing it obviously against something else (e.g. being with a man?). SO fasting doesn't necessarily refer to staying away from food or drink, as Mary (pbuh) was obviously eating dates and drinking water but fasting? Please discuss!

    (2) Mohammad Shaikh says that Mary (pbuh) was in Mecca, and that's where she had her son in summer? not Jerusalem! What is his evidence and what do you think?

    peace all sun

Thank you for providing this link, its thought provoking.
Good to see that all references are from the Qur?an rejecting hedith abut Aysha and explains about the great charge in surah Noor.

I too look forward to the contributions from others especially brothers Ayman and Arnold Yasin

      peace

        Peace,

I have gone through the discussions a hundred times and my arguments can be found in my articles. But when it comes to refuting his claims

        1. You can interpretate the verses completely without the concept of virginbirth, so why go grasping to very unlikely theories?
        2. Imagine if this theory is true, then there is NO miracle. We just have a RARE natural phenomena, where is the sign in that? What is the need for this? Does it guide people? No it doesn't. I see no function in this pursuit in irrational pseudo-sciencific ideas.

        To peace

        1. Saum means to abstain from something, the word itself does not directly mean to fast from food or drinks. This is why the Qur'an everytime explains from what we or the person has to abstain from. When it comes to fasting for us with Ramadan, it clearly says "la yakullu wa yagribu", no eating and drinking. With Mary she was told to abstain from talking.

        2. I see no reason at all to believe the story of Mary happened around Mecca, especially since it then wouldn't make any sense how the Christian faith was spread, nor what she was doing there. There were no Jewish tribes back then in that area in any significant numbers. A woman couldn't travel alone to such a deserted place.

There is nowhere mentioned in the Qur?an that Joseph married Mary or even about a secret marriage.

When there is nothing said about the father of Jesus but he is simply the son of Mary than why go grasping about father's theory? hmm

I have read it and it was not at all convincing,
The discussion was not in the sprit of the teaching of the Qur?an as Jesus is only son of his mother Mary and I would say you have come up with great charge against her.

                Peace,

People are addicted to miracles and irrationality, makes the world a bit more mythical as reality can be scary. The Qur'an is all about being rational and scientific, that is the true spirit of the Qur'an. How for example can being married be a great charge against her? What a strange way of thinking.

3191 (Such men and women of understanding keep reflecting upon how Allahs Laws operate in the Universe.) Standing, sitting, and reclining, they observe, and reflect upon Allah's creation of the Heavens and the Earth and wonder, "Our Lord! You have not created all this without Purpose. High Above You are from creating anything in vain! Save us, then, from being negligent in attaining knowledge and thus, getting condemned to Fire (as our rationality is burned away).

Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran, so that you might encompass it with your reason.

Indeed, We have rendered it an Arabic Quran, so that you might encompass it with your reason.

Verily, the vilest of all creatures in the sight of God are those deaf, those dumb ones who do not use their reason.

And most certainly have We destined for hell many of the invisible beings and human being who have hearts with which they fail to grasp the truth, and eyes with which they fail to see, and ears with which they fail to hear. They are like cattle -nay, they are even less conscious of the right way it is they, they who are the heedless!

Verily, in the creation of the heavens and of the earth, and the succession of night and day and in the ships that speed through the sea with what is useful to man and in the waters which God sends down from the sky, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless, and causing all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon and in the change of the winds, and the clouds that run their appointed courses between sky and earth there are messages/signs indeed for people who use their reason.

And there are on earth tracts of land close by one another ; and vinyards, and fields of grain, and date-palms growing in clusters from one root or standing alone, watered with the same water and yet, some of them have We favoured above others by way of the food . Verily, in all this there are messages/signs indeed for people who use their reason!

And He has marshalled to your service the night and the day, the sun and the moon, and the stars have also been made subservient by His command. They all function according to His laws. In these also there are signs for those who use their reason.

And from the fruit of date-palms and vines from it you derive intoxicants as well as wholesome sustenance -in this, behold, there is a message/sign indeed for people who use their reason.

And among His Signs, He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead verily in that are Signs for those who use their reason.

And in the alternation of the night and the day, and in the means of sustenance which Allah sends down from the Height, reviving the earth which had been lifeless, and in the change of winds and seasons - in all this are Signs for people who use their reason.

Do they not travel through the land, so that their hearts (and minds) may thus use reason and their ears may thus learn to hear? Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are in their breasts.

1736 And you shall not follow blindly any information of which you have no direct knowledge. (Using your faculties of perception and conception) you must verify it for yourself. In the Court of your Lord, you will be held accountable for your hearing, Sight, and the faculty of reasoning.

                  "la yakullu wa yagribu"

I see now I had typed this wrong as I had remembered it wrong, the verse says "wakuloo waishraboohatta yatabayyana lakumu alkhaytu al-abyadumina alkhayti al-aswadi mina alfajri" And eat and drink untill distinct becomes to you (yatabayana from bayan=clear/evident) the white thread is distinct from the black thread of the dawn (al-fajri). To me the Sayim that is ordered in this verse contains both refraining of sexual acts and of eating and drinking, since both subjects are to be contained during the nights.

The speaker Muhammad Sheikh, in this link, does not talk of a miricle he simply gives his understanding of a rare HERMAPHRODITE person and an extremely rare incident of fertilization which is possible, seeing the genetic makeup of a TRUE HERMAPHRODITE.
He has properly applied verses from the Qur'an and I did not find him deaf and dumb, just not great in the English language but he has linked "great charge" which further explained verses of surha Noor.

The question is then still, what function would this rare natural phenomena have for the people in her time and for us now?

This is why I am sceptic. Isa was as Adama, all of Mankind, the Qur'an says.

Now once you have finished from the videos people ... here is an article example with pics

                              http//www.angelfire.com/ca2/BornHermaphrodite/?ref=webkizi.com

Does he or she had a child?? A human hermaphrodite usually barren...

                              From the Quran
And remember/mention in The Book Mary when she distantly isolated herself from her family/relation (to) an easterly/eastern place/position.
So she took from other than them a divider/protection , so We sent to her Our Soul/Spirit , so he simulated/represented to her (as an) upright/average human.
'I seek refuge with The Most Beneficent from you, if you do fear Him.'
said 'I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.'
She said'How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?'
He said 'So (it will be), your Lord said 'That is easy for Me And to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (from God)', and it is a matter (already) decreed (by God).' "
                              (Quran 1916-21)

Nowadays, nobody will calls a 'virgin' giving birth as miracle...
We can do it using 'artificial insemination', you seed the female egg with sperm outside of the body.. (in a lab environment)
And implant the seeded egg to the female host.
no copulation needed, thus vagina 'virginity' is not broken. although some surgery on the female host belly might be needed.

                              Salam / Peace

This is a very intresting view, but he the speaker in the video, also said that there were and still are many women with this condition, but only she (maryam) had a son and no other was able to have... is this part true...then it would mean that Allah obviously had (pre determine) interviened it this case... was it to enlighten people that this was part of his creation (a women with 2 sexes) but the people could not understand then...and now with people using thier reason can finally understand with evidence...this is surely guidence.

Sorry to use The bible but it was the first thing that came to mind.

1612 I have yet many things to say - Concerning my passion, death, resurrection, and the consequences of it. But ye cannot bear them now - Both because of your littleness of faith, and your immoderate sorrow.

1717 O faithless and perverse generation. How long shall I suffer you? Bear with your shortcomings.

These 2 quotes...allude to him trying to reveal much to them at that time but they were not RESONBABLE

According to my understanding of the matter the sending of messenger in shape of man is the answer. science may not know now but with the passage of time test tube babies technology can reach to that point that seed may be inserted without any surgery. The two sex theory can be applicable but then that may also need some kind of human help (not sexually) to produce a baby. we may be able to know in the future but i don't see any difference between both the ways because in both the ways virginity remains intact.

                                  359
                                  Literal
That Jesus' example at God (is) as Adam's example, (He) created him from dust/earth then He said to him "Be." So he became.

The example of Jesus with God is similar to that of Adam; He created him from dust, then He said to him "Be" and he was.
                                  Khalifa
The example of Jesus, as far as GOD is concerned, is the same as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, "Be," and he was.

Now my understanding regarding verse 359 is that God is telling us that Adam is created similarly as Adam which in other words can be that God first creation is Women and from women created the man. Not as told by most of the religions.

                                  Regards.

                                    Peace,

The question is then still, what function would this rare natural phenomena have for the people in her time and for us now?

This is why I am sceptic. Isa was as Adama, all of Mankind, the Qur'an says.

                                    Salaam Arnold Yasin and all,

I think there are two things that we should consider instead of asking what function, the reason and the purpose.

                                    What is the reason?

We cannot reason with God as we do not have same standard of knowledge as He possesses and that is why we are reminded if only we knew.

                                    What is the purpose?

But as for purpose we are supposed to contemplate on that
3191 (Such men and women of understanding keep reflecting upon how Allah?s Laws operate in the Universe.) Standing, sitting, and reclining, they observe, and reflect upon Allah's creation of the Heavens and the Earth and wonder, "Our Lord! You have not created all this without Purpose. High Above You are from creating anything in vain! Save us, then, from being negligent in attaining knowledge and thus, getting condemned to Fire (as our rationality is burned away).?

^ The "Allah knows best" rhetoric doesn't help when it comes to having a meaningful discussion...

If we relay on one person's theory than we are not among those in 391. So the best thing we can do is to invite all the brilliant minds on this forum and then unite and have a meaningful discussion, work towards finding the answer.

Therefore if we start from the story of the wife of Imran, and reflect; 335 Behold! a WOMAN of 'Imran said "O my Lord! I do dedicate unto Thee what is in my womb for Thy special service So accept this of me For Thou hearest and knowest all things."

Why was only the wife of Imran mentioned and why was not Imran, her husband, joined in offering to dedicate the child? I can?t remember which verse number, but it's about a man covering a woman and then she carries the child and both parents pray for the child. (sorry fasting)

However here its only the mother who is offering the dedication to God. After the birth of a female the family ancestry breaks Imran loses claim on the family lineage.

575 Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a WOMAN of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!

And as we see from now on it is only 'Jesus son of Mary', why?

                                    peace

Quran does not addresses anyone with fathers son or name of father anywhere in Quran. In my understanding this is because the first creation was women and we are all technically are son/daughter of women. Kindly point to me if i am wrong in my understanding.

Women alone cannot conceive, except through cloning, but then the result will be a copy of her..a female.
