Well is it? In boxing Mohammad Ali used to take his shirt off and wear shorts and play. So If I wrestle as a pro, will Allah/god put me in hell for eternity? Now, before replying, plz I beg you reply politely in a nice manner, esp those who are progressive/free minded(most of you guys in this forum), and those who are conservatives or wana be radicals then Please do not reply elektro. giveup

Build up all that you can of streanth and might for the rejecters...( training/ wrestling ect...) so that you may instill fear with it towards Gods enemy and your enemy and others besides them that you dont know. But God knows them...

And keep covered your private parts...

And He knows the work you do...And there are some who have mixed good work with bad; perhaps God will pardon them. He is the Pardoner, the merciful.

Thus I do not find it forbidden for one to dress apropriate for their traing, job.ect....

He has made cloths for you to alleviate your sin...So my advice to you is to just be modest. And lower your gaze and keep covered your private parts.

The Quran tells him to cover his private parts ( genitls ). It dosent say anything aboud a man should cover his chest to and lenthen upon himself his garment ect...

And according to somewere in Torah the lenth to keep covered is from the waise to the kneez of shorts.

And the Quran tells the woman to put her shawl over her cleavage and leanthen upon themselves their outer garments so that they dont be recongnized and harmed.

This only says keep the private parts covered...

Maybe it because im from the west, but I find it really hard to think that something like boxing would be prohibited. I think that if both sides agree to the fight and condtitions, its absolutely acceptable smash another mans face in. To get paid to do it, thats awesome.

You are mistaken, brother. This guidance for men's clothing is in the ahaadeeth and sunnah, not in the reading. This is man-made guidance. According to the reading, the best form of dress is being clothed in righteousness...

I'm very sorry to tell you this , but this question should never be asked at all. Cloths are part of cultures, traditions,functions, work and positions.
you're not going to the moon, wearing a Djelaba!
Why choose Boxing or Wrestling? why not to question all the sports for that matter and then again, you're are going backward!
The most important thing to know is that God knows what your heart conceal, so no matter what cloths you wear or not it wont buy you a ticket to heaven. You have to earn it with your work.

I've heard many boxers get brain damage and some of them even become more hostile in life and towards all people. So, yeah, boxing is sinful because you are beaten in your head, brain is damaged and it changes you.
