    Peace,
    Respectfully.

I've heard many boxers get brain damage and some of them even become more hostile in life and towards all people. So, yeah, boxing is sinful because you are beaten in your head, brain is damaged and it changes you.

    God knows best.
    Peace.

There more people killed on Horse riding than boxing! and more people killed driving cars ! also I noticed drivers become a bit hostile and it's called road rage! so following your logic, horse riding and car driving must b sinful....!!

    what do you think?

May, peace and blessings and mercy of Allah(SWT) be upon you all.
Well is it? In boxing Mohammad Ali used to take his shirt off and wear shorts and play. So If I wrestle as a pro, will Allah/god put me in hell for eternity? Now, before replying, plz I beg you reply politely in a nice manner, esp those who are progressive/free minded(most of you guys in this forum), and those who are conservatives or wana be radicals then Please do not reply elektro. giveup

      Peace
No one can make something Haram except Allah.
According to Quran, in verse 6-150 thru 153 God told us what is Haram in General. Now, we know Hurting yourself or Hurting other is Haram; but also we know Boxing is a sport. Now can you and others explore more in these points and may be we can reach to a Good Conclusion.
      Peace

        Peace

Lots of sports have people hurting other people in various ways and hurting their bodies in order to compete, like in tennis, speed walking, or whatever. I do not think it is forbidden.

There is no mention of "Pro Wrestling" & "Boxing" in Quran..
Because such sport doesn't exist yet at that time.. rotfl

I found it silly if somebody trying to consult the Quran on this... rotfl

This matter calls for another "Hadith" to be invented...

Narrated from Abu an-Nu?man Muhammad ibn al-Fadhl from Hammad ibn Zaid from Ayyub and from Ikrimah,
The Messenger Of God (May Allah Grant Him Peace) said
"Boxing and Pro Wrestling, especially the WWF, are the work of Shaytan!"

          Salam / Peace

            Sallam all;
If you are a Boxer, your intention, when in the ring, to hurt your challanger; but the other sports you mentioned do not have the same intention.
            peace
